Story
Meet Eddie! This energetic lad is all about playtime, cuddles, and naps (in that order) - there is not a moment where this husky isn't thinking about showing off his acrobatic skills. Though his brain may work on low internet speeds, he is certainly very attentive when it comes to treats. If you want a best friend who will keep you active on your toes, Eddie is for you! Kids: With how energetic Eddie is, we recommend children 12+ to handle his strength. Dogs: We are unsure how Eddie is with other canines, we advise patience and caution during any introductions. Cats: With Eddie's prey drive, we strongly advise no cats or other small critters.  Some of Eddie’s favorite things: peanut butter, playing fetch, running around, singing you his favorite songs Eddie is Neutered, Microchipped, and fully up to date on age appropriated vaccines! Story
Silas was rescued at 12 weeks of age. He is very affectionate and loves to cuddle and give kisses. He does well with houstraining if he is walked every couple of hours. His birthdate is 5/18/2022. He started agility training in the back yard and caught on to a couple of things. He is very intelligent. He loves to play in his kiddie pool when the weather is nice outside. Silas does need a lot attention as aussies are very smart and need a job to do. He loves puzzle toys He quickly becomes someone's friend after they greet him with a treat. As a herding dog, he does not do well with cats or other small animals as he thinks of them as a job to chase. He does do well with other dogs. Silas needs a new home as his current mom has been diagnosed with serious health conditions and is no longer capable of caring for a dog with high energy. He will go home with a bag of food and his favorite toys.

Story
We got him as a puppy and he's been a loyal, loving companion his whole life—house-trained, calm, good with people, up to date on vet care, and fine with short walks. We now have two small kids, and we're moving to a new state. He's already been through several moves over the years, and we don't want to put him through that added stress at his age. Looking for a permanent, caring home in the Toledo, OH area (or nearby) where he can settle in comfortably for his senior years.

Story
I adopted Lincoln from the Toledo Humane Society Over three years ago. He was the first dog I've had since living on my own. Lincoln is a wonderfully smart dog who loves to play and be with his family. He was sent here from Arizona but the humane society didn't know his backstory unfortunately. There were signs after bringing him home that he may have been abused. He is house trained, Lincoln knows, Sit, Stay, Lay down, Wait, Speak, and can do a cute half way roll over. (his attempt at rolling over anyway lol). He pulls a bit on walks but not the worst pulling dog I've seen by a longshot. He just likes to sniff, if we're walking on pavement or away from grass he walks right along side me. However, with him being a German Shepherd he needs more space and more attention than I am able to give. If you have a backyard and people to be around I can almost 100% assure you this guy will be remembered as the best dog ever. I know he has been for me!

Story
Meet Chuck!! Chuck is a sweet, sensitive boy who takes his time getting comfortable in new situations. In his previous home, he lived with another dog but struggled with sharing food and resources, and he has shown that he prefers having his space to himself. In the shelter, Chuck has been cautious around unfamiliar people and can feel unsure when meeting someone new. He does best when allowed to move at his own pace, observing first and choosing when he’s ready to engage. Calm energy, patience, and gentle encouragement—especially in the form of tossed treats—help him feel more at ease.Once Chuck feels safe, his playful side begins to shine. His previous family shared that he is house trained when kept on a consistent routine and that he loves playing with balls and Frisbees. With time and trust, Chuck is a loyal companion who will reward patience with quiet affection and moments of joyful play
