Story
Rudy has had a long road to get here, but now that he is, he cannot wait to meet his forever family. He knows sit, shake, and is highly food motivated so he can certainly learn more tricks too! He will give hugs, and deliver kisses. With some patience and care Rudy will be the perfect companion, he knows what it is like to be alone, and he will not let that happen to you! Some of Rudy's Favorite Things Include: Running like a gazelle in the urban savannah, Ska music    Kids: Rudy loves folks of all shapes & sizes so far but he hasn’t met a kid under 11 years of age yet. We advise supervision during introductions. Dogs: Rudy hasn’t had the opportunity to meet many dogs. So far he has done wonderfully playing with others, we always recommend supervision and patience during introductions for the best chance of success. We can do meet and greets at the shelter to see how your dog does with Rudy and his puppy energy level. Cats: Rudy has lived with a cat before, and did well. Still we advise patience and supervision during introductions for the best chance of success. Rudy is neutered, microchipped, & fully up-to-date on vaccines & preventions ##2698861##

Story
Meet Harley! This sweet shepherd might be a little up there in years but trust us when we say she's still a puppy at heart. From long walks in new places to frolicking around the backyard, Harley is content as long as she has someone to keep her company! She has not had much experience walking on a leash, her manners could use some work.    Dogs: Harley came to WCHS with a dog friend and has liked the other dogs she's met so far. We still always recommend a proper, supervised introduction for the best chance of success. Cats: Harley lived with cats before and reportedly did well. We recommend caution & supervision during introductions for the best chance of success. Kids: Harley has never met kids before. We always recommend going over proper animal handling with kids before introductions.   Harley is spayed, microchipped, and fully up-to-date on vaccines & preventions. For more information, please complete an application and WCHS will reach out as soon as possible! ##2720688##

Story
Meet Remi! Remi will be turning two in August of 2026, we would love to see her celebrate her birthday in her new home, with the family she has been waiting for. So far Remi has been an exemplary guest here at the shelter. She is happy to spend the day outside watching clouds, and sun bathing. Remi is young and can be mouthy, she plays and interacts with her mouth, with some training we are certain this poor puppy behavior can be corrected. Remi is great on a leash, she has been good in the car as well, with further training Remi can certainly accomplish more!  Dogs: Remi has shown interest in the other dogs in shelter, and has had a puppy play date with an Alumni of the shelter. We recommend slow, proper introductions for the best success, we can do on property meet and greets as well! Cats: Remi has yet to meet a feline friend. When introducing it is best to take it slow and make sure the cat has plenty of oppurtunity to escape and hide during the adjustment. Kids: Remi has lived with children in the past, due to her puppy mouthy behavior we recommend kids 10+ who can respect boundries while Remi learns how to play fair with everyone.  Remi is spayed, microchipped, and fully up-to-date on vaccines & preventions. For more information, please complete an application and WCHS will reach out as soon as possible! ##2719377##
