Story

Raven is a beautiful big cuddle bug with huge puppy energy. Unknown if purebred. She has a lot of anxiety due to her coming from a puppy mill situation, but she is physically healthy besides her anxiety. She is 4 years old, and weighs about 68 pounds. Raven rarely has any accidents in the house at all, and is good with other big dogs and older kids. I say older kids because Raven is very energetic and can play rough, or knock small children over. She is also spayed and utd on shots. Raven needs a lot of room to run, with not many neighbors around. She gets anxious and will bark if she sees people too close to her house. She could use some basic obedience refresher courses. But she really is a very sweet and fun friend to have. I was diagnosed recently with two terminal illnesses, and being disabled im unable to keep up with poor Raven and give her the exercise and play that she deserves. Shes a good baby! I pray every night now that someone will help my girl. Thank you

Luna is a wonderful, kind, loving dog, her life started out very ruff but she is now healthy and ready for a great family. She is a little over a year old and loves to be worked with so training has been going well. She could use help with not getting so excited and understanding her strength (she pulls at times) . She loves my cats but wants to run up to them which becomes a chase. One cat just sits & they will groom each other. A fenced in yard would be ideal. She has been taught manners - never chewed a pair of shoes or anything other than her toys. She is not allowed on the furniture, she sleeps in her crate & goes it it when I leave. Luna is 95% house trained & as long as you follow the schedule there are no accidents. Luna loves attention and needs the interaction with others which is why I must find her a new family. I can't give her what she needs, but if you need a family dog that is great at cuddling, loves to play fetch , is always happy to see you, great in the car. Call!

Meet Riley! This handsome boy came to THS after his owner had to move and they wouldn't accept Riley because he's a big boy! Riley is a playful, active boy who is ready for an adventure! This cutie loves to play but he can be a bit rough and doesn't know his own size, so he may do best in a home with older children! Riley is also known to be a snuggle bug, who wouldn't mind snuggling up in bed with you! According to his previous family, Riley has done well with other large dogs, but does not do well with cats and should not go to a home with cats. Riley's favorite toys are big Jolley balls, tennis balls, tug-o-war and he loves his chew toys! If you are interested in a pup that is sure to keep you on your toes, then look no further! Meet Milo, a sweet, energetic, playful, and curious soul! He came to THS through our cruelty department after his owner developed a medical issue. His favorite thing to do is lean against his favorite person for pets and love! Since arriving at THS Milo has worked on perfecting some of his basic obedience, like sit, and would love to learn more! He is also working on his leash skills. He loves a good treat and will do almost anything to get one! Milo is looking for an adult-only home where he can be the only dog! He spent some time in foster care and this is what we learned about him: "Milo is a wonderful dog! He warmed up to my wife and I in a matter of 24 hours. Now we can't give him enough affection! He appears to be housebroken because he has not had one accident since coming home with us. He has been left alone for short periods of time and has never gotten into anything he shouldn't. You can tell he has enjoyed his break from the shelter because he is finally starting to play with toys. Milo knows sit, lay down, and go outside! He would run around and play in the backyard but he is calm once he comes inside! He is a smart boy who quickly picks up on commands. We are really going to miss him!" Interested in meeting this guy?
