Story
We got Kuzco when he was a small puppy in April 2021. A week after we got him we found out my wife was pregnant with our first child. Kuzco has grown up to be an energetic, smart, 100 pound dog that requires lots of attention and stimulation. Unfortunately, we cannot consistently meet his needs while we grow our family. Kuzco would thrive in an energetic, playful environment where we can run, play, and explore often. He can be stubborn at times, so patience and training go a long way. He does have some anxiety at times, so patience and loving is required. He is up-to-date on shots and vaccines as well as flea and tick. He is also fixed.

Story
Bruce here has a bit of a reputation here at the shelter. Don’t worry, it’s not a bad reputation by any means, he just has been compared to some very interesting characters in pop culture. The front runner right now is those dogs from “Ghostbusters” that say zuul. Why is that? Well like most dogs like Bruce, he makes some interesting breathing noises. Again, don’t fret. He’s perfectly fine, he just makes some noises every so often and they always bring a smile to our faces. Because despite his noises, he is the sweetest lil 40lb doggy we’ve ever met. If you think you want to have a lil cutie that will keep you on your toes of what noise will happen next, shoot us an email at wchsadopt@gmail.com!

Story
If you were to open an encyclopedia (remember those) or go to Wikipedia and look up Princess, you’d see a picture of our lil Miss Princess! She is the prime example of a princess. She likes her food to be the fanciest of feasts, aka a little bit of wet food mixed in. She loves being pampered to pets and cuddles at all hours of the day. If you haven’t met up to her standards, she will let you know with her beautiful singing voice. If you think you’d be the perfect suitor for her, please contact her advisors at wchsadopt@gmail.com and we will see if you meet her standards.

Story
Hey there, my name is Junior! If you’re looking for a furever partner, I’m ready to ride shotgun on your life adventures. I’ve been around town for a handful of years and am very comfortable and confident in all my dogness. Some dogs like to talk a big game, but they don’t bother me; it’s best to ignore the haters or maybe tease them until they loosen up a bit. Life’s too short to be uptight about it; more pups should relax and enjoy the comfy beds and couches that life can offer. I know I sure do; I love to have a snooze fest with my favorite people. That said, I may be down for a good nap here and there, but as any middle-aged lad, I still have a zest for adventure. If you want somebody to join you on journeys, know I want to be by your side. I’m not a fan of being alone for long; spaces get too big and noises get too loud when it’s just yourself to keep you company, so please take me with you when you can. I am down for anything: long walks along the river, car rides, or even trips to Home Depot. I can even try to get you a discount with my charming demeanor. I make friends wherever I go, and I always impress them with a few good tricks up my sleeve. If this sounds like a match made in heaven to you, then reach out to my people. I am ready to blow this popsicle stand and get out there to enjoy life with you!
