Story
Courtesy Post - please contact Jeremy Deguc directly at 541-505-4884. Meet Jackson! Jackson is being fostered with a professional trainer. Jackson is a lovable 3-year-old German Shepherd-Karakachan mix and the definition of a good boy! He’s had extensive training and knows all his basic commands, walking politely on leash and recalling instantly. At around 85 pounds, Jackson is a big, energetic, and athletic pup who thrives in an active household. He loves to train and bond through obedience, so if you enjoy working with your dogs, he’ll be a perfect match! Jackson would do great as an only dog or with a large female canine companion and would flourish in a home with adults or older kids due to his size and energetic nature. Despite his big stature, he’s a big sweetheart who craves affection and loves being told he's a good boy. Given his breed mix, Jackson could also make a fantastic farm dog in the right environment. If you’re looking for a loyal, active, and affectionate companion, Jackson might just be the perfect fit!

Story
Tonka is very much a house dog, and loves being with her people. She is crate trained but we haven't used one in over a year except to sleep in with she is at the dog sitter. She does fine being left home during the day. She loves to chew up boxes but has only ever done so when given to her with treats in them for enrichment. She is not a working dog. She is house broken but no real dog training. She loves walks but does pull. Off leash she is good with other dogs but on leash she gets reactive. She loves cats and does great with the one she lives with. She is great with kids and actually spent she first 2 years going to work with me at a middle school. She is very gentle with my 2yr. Old grandson but doesn't realize how big she is, especially when she gets the zoomies. So far she has not shown any food sensitivities that great pyrenees are know to have. She is very loved and this decision is not one made lightly and I am willing to take the time to find the right fit.

Story
Meet Luna! Luna came to us along with her buddy Chui after being found wandering around alone. Her finder was able to locate her home only to discover that her and Chui were living mostly outdoors in unsanitary conditions. Luna and Chui's owners agreed to surrender them and that is how they made their way to us! Luna is an absolute sweetheart and wins over everyone she meets with her soulful stare and wiggly little body. Luna has quickly realized how good it is to live indoors and loves to spend her days snoozing on her couch and getting cuddles from our staff and volunteers. Luna walks well on leash, does great with dogs of all sizes, is potty trained, is comfortable in a crate and just about as perfect as they come! This girl has a naturally wonderful temperament. Luna recently had a full senior work up and received a clean bill of health. Its hard to believe this girl is a senior. Luna could join a family alone or possibly with Chui, we are still getting to know them and their relationship with each other. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Luna's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our webs Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. Luna would do great in a home with...Cats : Dogs : Yep!  Kiddos : Yep!     ##2533875##

Story
Meet Eloise! Elegant, gorgeous, and full of personality, this mixed-breed beauty is the perfect blend of drive and cuddle bug. She’s super smart, eager to learn, and always ready for the next challenge — making her an ideal adventure partner for someone who loves getting outdoors. Eloise has the heart and mindset of a working-type dog, so she’ll thrive with an adopter who has experience with active, driven breeds. She’s the kind of pup who wants a job, loves to use her brain, and bonds deeply with her person. After a day of exploring or training, though, she’s just as happy to curl up and soak in all the snuggles. Elosie is a petite girl and will likely stay under 40/50 pounds full grown. She catches on to training quickly and does great in a crate, almost has potty training down and is mastering her leash skills. Eloise would do well with an easy going male dog, kids and could learn to live with a cat with proper introductions and boundaries.  If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s as stunning as she is spirited, and as affectionate as she is intelligent, Eloise might just be your perfect match. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Eloise's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website! Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. Eloise would do great in a home with...Cats : Yep! Story
Meet Naila! Naila is a young Lab/Boxer mix with a smile big enough to light up the whole room. Her start in life wasn’t easy — she was found abandoned in a hot car alongside a small dog friend and then spent six long months in a shelter with no adoption interest. But despite everything, Naila’s spirit never dimmed. During her shelter stay, Naila battled severe chronic ear infections that eventually required a TECA (total ear canal ablation) surgery in her right ear, leaving her deaf on that side. But don’t worry — this brave girl doesn’t let it slow her down one bit! She’s adapted beautifully and gets around with confidence, joy, and her signature goofy wiggle. Naila is pure sunshine. She loves people, leans in for affection, and greets everyone like a long-lost friend. She’s a silly, happy soul who enjoys playtime, belly rubs, and simply being near her humans. Naila does wonderfully with male dogs and would love a canine buddy who matches her friendly energy. Because Naila is a playful gal we think older children would best suit her.  Naila is looking for a loving home that will cherish her, celebrate her resilience, and give her the happy, safe life she has always deserved. She is working hard on her crate training, leash skills and basic obedience while she stays with us to help her be successful in a forever home. Naila has not been around cats but can be cat tested for serious applicants.  Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. Naila would do great in a home with...Cats : Dogs : Prefers male dogs Kiddos : 10+   ##2588006##
