6 month old German Shepard mix. Dad was pure breed and mom was a German Shepard mix. I do have one photo of the parents. It was an accidental liter and I went for one but took the last two due to conditions. He is very sweet, no signs of aggression at all, loves to snuggle, demeanor of a well behaved Labrador puppy.

Story
She’s around 3 years old and rescued at a shelter in Colorado last year. Crate trained, leash and harness trained but can use some more training to not pull, anxious at first but once she warms up she’s very trusting and affectionate. Shes loyal and protective especially of me and my young daughter. I adopted her last year with hopes of socializing her since she spent the first 1.5yrs of her life in a shelter and I had a lot more time to give her but I had a baby and moved states for work and I am too busy to give her the time she needs. She does great with other dogs, cats, and young kids. Shes more nervous around loud older kids and men but again will warm up with time and consistent exposure. Shes a good dog with great potential but I feel I am not providing her what she needs to get there. She would be a great outdoor companion or even just a companion for another young dog who can match her energy better than my senior pitbull.

Shadow is a 3 year old Bernedoodle, we adopted when he was 14 weeks old. He is silly and so loving. He is crate trained, loves long walks. He is great with kids, adults, other dogs and loves cats, but hasn’t spent a lot of time with them so he gets very excited around them. Ice cubes are his favorite treat, and anyone who gives him one is his new best friend.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Blossom 1 year, spayed female, 19 lbs Corgi/Chihuahua mix (best guesss) LIKES: Blossom loves following her people around, chewing on her toys, playing with her foster dog siblings (specifically the older cattle dog/pit mix), snuggling, and burrowing under blankies. She likes to give the 7 and 12 year old kiddos in her foster house kisses. DISLIKES: Being picked up, new experiences/people, and riding in the car can be triggering to Blossom’s anxiety. Blossom will need a patient hand to continue gently introducing her to the “scary” situations in her life. PERSONALITY TRAITS: Miss Blossom is such a friendly and cuddly pup! She is in love with her cattle dog/pittie mix foster sister and will pester her with friendship and kisses until she plays with her. One unique thing about Blossom is that she doesn’t really bark, but instead “chirp-barks.” POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Blossom is potty trained with occasional accidents if it’s cold or rainy outside. Blossom is a bit of a nervous piddler and experiences like meeting new friends or being picked up may be best either outside or on a hard floor that can be quickly wiped. CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Zero star rating from Blossom. She eats her meals in her kennel but doesn’t like to be locked in it. OTHER/MISC: Blossom is a 5 star climber and chewer, so a sturdy plastic kennel is needed instead of a wire one as she will chew any wire/wood to get out. She is also a fantastic bouncer and can hop right over baby gates with ease. Blossom will need a home with another playful dog to help build her confidence and use up some of her playful energy. To further inquire about BLOSSOM, submit an application. Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how BLOSSOM will mesh with your lifestyle. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
SPECIAL NEEDS   NAME: CARTER  BREED: Terrier/Chihuahua blend AGE: 6 months WEIGHT: 8 pounds’ish   Carter is believed to have a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia, or CH. He has recovered a lot of his muscle tone and balance since coming into the rescue, however he still needs a few supports to keep him safe. For example, Carter CANNOT be left alone on furniture or allowed to walk up/down stairs on his own, as he lacks the consistent ability to navigate these items independently in a safe manner. We also recommend that Carter is held in a safe area, such as a dog pen, when not supervised, so that he doesn't get himself into trouble.    Aside from those easy to understand details, what is Carter like? Carter is a silly boy who likes playing with toys and other dogs. He has funny ways of walking and he loves to hop around.    He has a solid routine with feeding and potty breaks, and he's doing well with those.    He loves squeaky toys and treats, and would love a home with a gentle playmate to be his buddy. Somewhere he could grow into his big boy self safely and well supervised.    It has been a joy to watch Carter blossom, and we imagine he will continue to do so with the loving attention he will receive in his future forever home.   To further inquire about CARTER, submit an online application via our website.    https://wigglytails.org   Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how CARTER will mesh with your lifestyle.    Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.    Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process.
