Story
6 month old German Shepard mix. Dad was pure breed and mom was a mut. I do have one photo of the parents. It was an accidental liter and I went for one but took the last two due to conditions. We only want to keep one so it is with a heavy heart we need to rehome one. He is very sweet, no signs of aggression at all, loves to snuggle, demeanor of a well behaved Labrador puppy.

Story
She’s around 3 years old and rescued at a shelter in Colorado last year. Crate trained, leash and harness trained but can use some more training to not pull, anxious at first but once she warms up she’s very trusting and affectionate. Shes loyal and protective especially of me and my young daughter. I adopted her last year with hopes of socializing her since she spent the first 1.5yrs of her life in a shelter and I had a lot more time to give her but I had a baby and moved states for work and I am too busy to give her the time she needs. She does great with other dogs, cats, and young kids. Shes more nervous around loud older kids and men but again will warm up with time and consistent exposure. Shes a good dog with great potential but I feel I am not providing her what she needs to get there. She would be a great outdoor companion or even just a companion for another young dog who can match her energy better than my senior pitbull.

Story
Shadow is a 3 year old Bernedoodle, we adopted when he was 14 weeks old. He is silly and so loving. He is crate trained, loves long walks. He is great with kids, adults, other dogs and loves cats, but hasn’t spent a lot of time with them so he gets very excited around them. Ice cubes are his favorite treat, and anyone who gives him one is his new best friend.

Story
Meatball 6 months, neutered male, 40 lbsHerding mix  Say hi to Meatball! This sweet and goofy boy loves to get his cuddle time with his people but also rambunctious and loves play! He has been in foster for a few months and is very ready to find his forever home! LIKES: Playing with toys of all kinds, wrestling and playing with the other dogs in foster home, puppy bones, sticks, socks, laying in the sun and exploring the backyard, playing in the dog pool, chasing water toys, chasing bubbles and bugs, cuddling, food and treats (extremely food motivated!) DISLIKES: Being contained or separated from his people or his dog friends (and he will tell you about it!) POTTY TRAINING: 100% in his foster home. Meatball does well with a regular routine doing his business outside. Sometimes needs to be reminded or encouraged to go outside when he's super excited to see you. CRATE TRAINING: See DISLIKES. He doesn't like to be in a kennel. He may whine or bark for a little bit but eventually settles down. He's getting better and giving him a bone or kong wiyh goodies helps. He sleeps in a kennel at nighttime (but he loves to sleep in bed with you, if you let him!) and spends about 4 hours at a time during the day at his foster home. When he hears you starting to wake up in the morning, he lets you know he's ready to come out. OTHER/MISC: He's timid/wary when meeting new people or dogs but that goes away relatively quickly. He may bark at and shy away from new people initially. MEATBALL is very smart and already learning basic commands like sit, lay down and wait. He is also working on containing his enthusiasm and not jumping up to greet people. He likes to go for walks and is getting more confident out in the world. He loves attention and gives kisses. He enjoys cuddling on your lap or nearby when tired. He will also happily find a dog bed to snooze in as well. He likes to be where the action is and see what's going on. He is a medium sized dog and happy to go anywhere or do anything with his people. He needs an active home with regular walks and will benefit from Puppy classes and obedience training to make sure he grows to be the best dog he can be. He does enjoy having a playful, laid back dog friend as he can be a little bossy. He bonds to his dog friends and seeks them out for play time and to cuddle. He looks to the other dogs in his foster home when he's unsure of something and their confidence helps him when he's uncertain. He is working on some food territorialness in his foster home, and has been improving. He loves to be outside and is becoming a water dog, will even play in his water bowl if a pool isn't available. He likes to chase the sprinkler too.  Meatball really is an awesome dog, with a fun playful and loving personality. He will keep his forever family laughing at his antics and they will never feel lonely with him around. Story
Lana  1 year, spayed female, 18 lbs Terrier mix   Lana was found with her sister Lucy in an orchard. After coming into foster they quickly became ill and it was discovered that they had consumed poison and they were close to death. After 3 months of medical care and monitoring there health, they are 100% ok. No permanent health issues.    Lana is a bit of a lap dog and loves her cuddle sessions. She is the best, sweetest, playful and loving little girl. She loves to play outside    She is crate trained and has been crated with her sister Lucy in her foster home.    She is potty trained and will go to the door to signal needing to go outside.    LIKES: Lana is more of a lap baby where Lucy is more independent but still likes her cuddle time. Both love to play in the fenced yard. They like other dogs and respect cats.   DISLIKES: Do not like to be away from another dog. Needs more leash training.   OTHER/MISC: Both girls are very responsive and love people. They have not been around kids in their foster home. Older kids would be fine. While we don't require that they are adopted together, we do feel it would be the best option for these two dogs. They are very sweet and would make a good companion to any family as a pair.    To further inquire about LANA, submit an application.   Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how LANA will mesh with your lifestyle. Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.   Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit.   We look forward to facilitating a positive and solid adoption for LANA as well as her future family.   *Fostered in Eugene/Springfield, OR   ADOPTION APP: https://wigglytails.org/adoption-application/   ##2653315##
