Story
Mac is an awesome dog. If you want to see more pictures/videos he has his own IG page thedaysofgusandmac . His birthday is 7/11/2020. Being a Catahoula he would make an incredible hunting dog. He has not been trained by us, but his breed are amazing hunters. And his endurance is amazing - he could run for miles without getting tired. He also is okay just to chill all day with you in bed. He is very loving, loves to lay close to you or on you. Needs consistent love and affection and exercise. He came to our home at 8wk old. We paid $900 for him. He does some tricks (sit, “say please”, “fancy”, bow, leave it, wait, stay, down, off), loves treats and toys. Does not chew up things. He is a great guard dog. Potty trained. We have four dogs right now. Mac is tolerant with the other dogs. Just has some temperament/alpha dog tendencies over territory and treats. We have a baby and are not able to give him all the affection and exercise he needs and deserves.

Story
Emma is around 3 yo., 65 lbs. Emma is a people lover and will be a faithful companion. She's an energetic girl who will need a home that loves to be active. She would be a great hiking or running buddy. Emma does have a prey drive so no small animals. Emma is crate and potty trained and walks well on leash. She knows general obedience and the "place" command. Staying relaxed and calm in all situations is her biggest challenge, however she's doing excellent with us. She'll need a home that loves to provide a structured environment, leadership, and sets rules and boundaries. We'll teach potential adopters everything we've worked on with Emma. Emma is the typical pittie in that she prefers slower introductions to other dogs. She would do best with a more submissive and easy going canine friend. She has done extremely well with a balanced female shepherd at our rescue. She also does great on walks with other dogs if they're respectful and well-behaved. Emma is a very sweet girl and has the most adorable "submissive" grin. She always makes us smile with her happy demeanor, and honestly, how can you not love her smile?! All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. We always post updates on our dogs on our IG page, the_wallflowers_shine_project, under “stories” and “highlights”. Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs.

Story
Layla is about 5 1/2 months old, 20 lbs. When Layla first came to us she was terrified of everything, especially people. We've worked with her extensively and she has completely turned around. Layla is still a bit cautious of new people and she will most likely never be a social butterfly. However, she is the most wonderful little girl with the people she knows and trusts. She will need someone that understands that she will need time with people. She will be best suited in a home where she can get familiar with a few people and where she's not expected to be friends with every person she meets. Layla absolutely loves other dogs, and we would love for her to go to a home with a friendly, playful, and confident dog. She does well with all size dogs. She enjoys nothing more than going for hikes or walks and will thrive in an active home. Layla is not a couch potato and she must have a home that values time outdoors. Hiking with our pack has really brought her out of her shell and she does incredible. She doesn't mind the rain and will be the best smaller adventure dog. Layla walks well on leash, is potty trained, and crate trained and knows general obedience. She's smart as a whip and a blast to train. If she's in an active home she could live in an apartment that has a yard. A yard will help her feel more comfortable initially and also give her a place to safely play. She loves the ball and other toys and is just pure joy once you get to know her. We think she could live with children 12 and up who can respect her space. We guessed on her breed but can already tell Layla will not get bigger than about 30 lbs. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. Story
Sweetest 7 month old border collie, she came from the pound so she is a bit fearful. She’s pretty good with people and other dogs but is having problems with my indoor cat. There are a few other personal reasons I have to rehome her. She needs someone with room, time, energy, but especially a lot of love!
