Story
This is Lady May! Aka Lady aka May May. She will be 2 this October! She is a pure bred chocolate lab. (No papers) She is as sweet as the come! If you try to pet her, she melts to the floor like lava in hopes you can scratch her belly. She’s very smart and catches on to new routines quickly. She’s great with kids. It pains me to find her a new home. However we are put in an unfortunate situation where we need to move across the country and into a rental. Taking her with us is not an option :(541)968-6719 If you have any questions or interest in this sweet girl

Story
Mamacita was found on the streets of Ensenada, Mexico after someone used her for breeding and then abandoned her. She was extremely thin and dehydrated. I took her off the streets, got her medical treatment, fixed and vaccinated her. Unfortunately I couldn't bring her to US with me, as I'm only allowed to have 2 dogs at my rental home, which I already have. She's currently in Ensenada, MX in a foster home, but needs to be adopted soon, because the foster family can't keep her much longer. She's very friendly with dogs and people, very playful. Never aggressive. Please, help find a forever home for this wonderful girl.

Story
Emma is around 3 yo., 65 lbs. Emma is a people lover and will be a faithful companion. She's an energetic girl who will need a home that loves to be active. She would be a great hiking or running buddy. Emma does have a prey drive so no small animals. Even though Emma is energetic, she loves to also just hang out with her people, chew a good bone, and snuggle up. Emma is crate and potty trained and walks well on leash. She knows general obedience and the "place" command. Staying relaxed and calm in all situations is her biggest challenge, however she's doing well with us. She'll need a home that loves to provide a structured environment, leadership, and sets rules and boundaries. We'll teach potential adopters everything we've worked on with Emma. Emma is the typical pittie in that she prefers slower introductions to other dogs. However, in the time she's been with us she's done excellent with all the dogs she's met. We walk all of our dogs together daily, and while we advocate for each dog, Emma has never shown a negative reaction to any dog she's met that was polite and respectful. Emma is a very sweet girl who also has the most adorable "submissive" grin. She always makes us smile with her happy demeanor, and honestly, how can you not love her smile?! All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. We always post updates on our dogs on our IG page, the_wallflowers_shine_project, under “stories” and “highlights”. Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs.

Story
Sammy is an approximately 1-2 yo. 65 lbs., playful girl. Sammy has come to us pretty insecure but has gained confidence through her training and is doing fabulous. Sammy loves to play with toys. She loves to chase and tug and play with the ball. She's probably one of the most play driven dogs we've had so her adopter must enjoy fulfilling that drive. Once Sammy has had a good play session and some nice walks, she settles nicely with a good chew bone in her crate. Sammy walks great on leash, does well in her crate, is potty trained, knows general obedience, as well as the "place" command. We're looking for adopters who want to continue her training as well as provide her with the structured environment she's had at our rescue. She thrives in such a setting. Sammy is also very affectionate and loves a good snuggle session. She does well with other friendly and respectful dogs. She was unsure of them when she came to us but slow introductions with our wonderful helper dogs have given her the ability to feel more comfortable and confident around them. She's been doing great with dogs her size. She doesn't quite know how to play properly but is slowly figuring it out. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. We always post updates and many videos of our dogs on our IG page, the_wallflowers_shine_project, under “stories” and “highlights”. Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs.

Story
Luna is an approximately 4 1/2 month old, 27 lbs. sweet and gorgeous girl. We think Luna is a mix of husky and shepherd, and probably some other breeds mixed in. We think she'll be around 50 lbs. at maturity. Luna walks well on leash, does well in her crate, and is potty trained. She's a super smart girl who is very calm and well behaved for a dog her age. Luna does excellent with other dogs and we think she would love a playmate of her size. Luna loves to explore and she does wonderful on hikes, and even on outings to a public park she was a little rock star. She has no fear issues in general but she's not a fan of strangers approaching her. This is important as she needs someone who will advocate for her so she will keep her neutrality around everything in public. She's the most loving girl with the people she knows and trusts. Luna is not an apartment dog as she can be vocal at times, which is pretty typical for huskies. Other than that she's a pretty quiet girl. She loves to play with her best doggie pal here at the rescue or lay down and chew a bone. We think she'd make the best adventure companion for a more active home. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. Story
Edna is an approximately 2 year old, 45 lbs. very calm, sweet, and well-mannered girl. She's in foster with a dog trainer and has received the best reviews. Edna continues to do well in different environments and around the cats and dogs passing by. She is getting better with going in the crate with leash guidance or treat tosses. She can sit on command and has perfected loose leash walks. She is very affectionate but she also hasn’t shown signs of separation anxiety. She’s doing well walking 3-4 miles per day on average, has visisted cafés and breweries, and is overall an outstanding dog.
