Story
Hi my name is Mack I have had an extremely rough life in just the 4 years. I was at GCAO before I got adopted. I was out of the shelter for 9 months before being brought back to the shelter by an officer. I have so many new scars and have developed hearing loss. I have come so far from when I came back to the shelter. I still have stranger danger (new people make me extremely nervous) but once I get to know you I am playful, very talkative, love attention and love taking walks. I am okay with some dogs, but i'm not good with cats or livestock. If you are interested in me please contact Shae at 509-762-9616 or email thegcao@gmail.com

Story
Hi my name is Valkyrie. I am a 6.5 year old Husky mix. I originally came into the shelter as Chucha, I was adopted for about a year, but sadly was brought back with a new name. Im very sweet, independent and food motivated, but at times I can be stubborn. I love to nap and lunging around until someone brings out the peanut butter (I LOVE peanut butter). I need some work on pulling while on a leash. I cannot be in a home with any other animals. If you are interested in me contact Shae at 509-762-9616 or thegcao@gmail.com

Story
Hi my name is Buddy. I am a 6 year old Pitbull Mix. I can be very unsure of new people, It takes some time for me to learn to show my true colors with new people. Once I warm up to you I will give you all the kisses and hug. I am very playful, but I also like relaxing. I need a home that is calm with no other animals. I love going on walk and I am great on a leash.

Story
My name is Houdini. I am a 2 year old Husky and I got my name for a reason. I have escaped almost every kennel at GCAO without leaving a trace of how I did it. I would make someone a great hiking buddy. I love walks, water, playing and being outside. I also love cuddling and getting all the scratches. I am good with some dogs, kids and people. I am not good with cats. I was adopted for about 6 months. My adopters surrendered me to another rescue where I escaped and was on my way up the road to GCAO when an officer picked me up and brought me back.

Hi my name is Phineas. I am a 2.5 year old husky. I love being around people and playing outside. All you have to do is look into my beautiful blue eye and you will fall in love with me. I am always happy and love cuddling. I am okay with some dogs, but I can be food reactive with other dogs. I am not good with cats or livestock. If I am bored I have a tendency to roam.
