Story
Can the luck of the Irish help get Miles in to a home? Miles, (also known as Scooby) needs a home, he is 7+ years old and neutered, Chiweenie. He has been tormented by the other dog in the home, and he has to hide or be in flight mode all the time, Miles deserves better. Miles is a very sweet guy who prefers to be in your lap or cuddled next to you. He absolutely loves babies and children; he is very gentle. Miles likes his walks and car rides, but also likes to lounge at the house and look out the window. Miles can catch treats like a pro and has a few circus tricks he loves to show off to everyone. Miles is such a good dog and the best dog with our 9 month old baby. Very sweet and patient. He loves kids and loves to just be at home cuddling. He doesn't seem to care about cats or critters. He likes car rides and walks, but doesn't need to be super active. He's always the first one back to the car when we go running and hiking. Located in north central Washington, transport is provided to approved home. Miles is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped. If you can help this cute boy, please email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com and ask for Miles

Story
FOSTER NEEDED BY 4/23/25: Chi weenie Ohana Ohana is a super sweet little 2-3 year old girl who weighs around 8-10 lbs. Ohana is a cling-on once she's comfortable. Since being surrender to the rescue, it's VERY CLEAR, she'll need to be with a single female that just wants a fun, walking, sleeping, companion. She follows you everywhere and will sit with you for hours. Ohanas cons are: she is very reactive toward men and active children. She does not bite, but she will nip at the heals and scare young children. Temporary foster's says 5 year old grandson sits and let's her come to him, she's fine. If he's running or just being a 5 year old, she's very reactive. Conclusion: Ohana is looking for a mom who will make her the center of attention! Ohana does well with other dogs but would prefer all of the attention. Ohana will bark at everything that comes into the house. She will settle down. It just takes her a minute. Ohana is spayed. Located in northern Idaho, transport is provided to approved foster/adopter within the Pacific northwest. Email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com ask for Ohana.

Story
Wynter Opal Born 12/7/23. We are guessing she will be 45-50 lbs as an adult. Border collie/Australian shepherd/husky mix. Wynnie is a beautiful girl with gorgeous blue eyes and the softest fur. She is a super sweet dog who spends all day playing with her sibling and her mom. She would love to cuddle if you could get her to hold still long enough! Wynnie is full of energy and needs a home with another active dog who will play with her. She attended her 1st session of puppy school at Idaho Humane Society. She would love a family who will continue her training and provide lots of fluffy toys for her to chew on. We joke that she is the little kid in the outfield at the tee ball games who is chasing butterflies and doing cartwheels! She loves everyone and it's very hard to resist this little blue eyed girl's charm. She sleeps through the night in a crate with her sibling. Up to date on vaccines, wormed, microchipped, health check. Located in southern Idaho, transport is available within the northwest to approved adopter. If interested email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com ask for Wynter Opal.
