Story
If your 2026 goal is to be more active, Paddy could be your perfect adventure sidekick. Paddy loves water: streams, lakes, rivers, water hoses. Full of personality and very curious, she is always up for a hike or a walk, then eagerly cuddles and soaks all your attention. She has striking blue eyes and a gorgeous coat, weighs 38 pounds and stands 19 inches at the shoulder. Paddy is a favorite with staff at doggie day care and plays well with the littles. She would do really well as an only dog, or with a confident dog. She is still a young, active dog and needs exercise. She may even be a good candidate for agility classes. She is crate trained, house trained, spayed, microchipped, and UTD on shots. From her DNA test results she is Australian shepherd mix, Border Collie, and Husky. She was born December 7, 2023. Located in foster home in Boise Idaho, transport is provided to approved home within the Pacific northwest. Email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com for Paddy!

Story
Hedwig, a 1–2-year-old Shi Tzu mix came to rescue from a horrible hoarding case. He was living in deplorable conditions, and while he’s safe now, the world can still feel a little overwhelming for him at times. This sweet boy is shy when he first meets you but give him a little patience and lots of love, you will start to see his playful side shine through. He loves gentle attention, soft voices, and kind hands. Hedwig is both loving and fearful, he wants connection so badly, he just needs someone willing to move at his pace and show him that he’s finally safe. Going slow and at his pace this sweet boy will blossom into the loyal, affectionate companion he’s meant to be. He’s the kind of dog who will bond deeply with his person and remind you every day how special rescue truly is. Hedwig has come a long way in foster and loves to be wherever you are. He loves other dogs of all sizes, cats unknown, however he's SO incredibly gentle, I can't imagine he'd have any issues with them. Hedwig is UTD on Vaccinations, Microchipped and will be neutered before adoption. He is located in Southern Idaho. We also provide transportation to approved homes throughout the Pacific Northwest. Hedwig is available for adoption through Journey Home Rescue. To request an application, please email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com. Ask for Hedwig!!

Story
Buddy – Loyal, Loving Companion Looking for His Next Home Buddy is a friendly and loyal dog who loves being around people. He has a sweet nature and enjoys companionship, making him a wonderful addition to a loving home. Due to a recent change in our living situation, we are heartbroken that we are no longer able to keep him. This decision was not made lightly, and our biggest priority is finding Buddy a family who can give him the time, attention, and care he truly deserves. Buddy would do best in a home where he can be part of the family and receive plenty of love and interaction. He has so much to give and will make a devoted companion to the right home.
