Story

If your 2026 goal is to be more active, Paddy could be your perfect adventure sidekick. Paddy loves water: streams, lakes, rivers, water hoses. Full of personality and very curious, she is always up for a hike or a walk, then eagerly cuddles and soaks all your attention. She has striking blue eyes and a gorgeous coat, weighs 38 pounds and stands 19 inches at the shoulder. Paddy is a favorite with staff at doggie day care and plays well with the littles. She would do really well as an only dog, or with a confident dog. She is still a young, active dog and needs exercise. She may even be a good candidate for agility classes. She is crate trained, house trained, spayed, microchipped, and UTD on shots. From her DNA test results she is Australian shepherd mix, Border Collie, and Husky. She was born December 7, 2023. Rain - Our latest arrival into rescue. Rain is Westie/Maltese mix, around 2 years old. He loves playing with other dogs, great with the cats, has not been around small children, though would probably be good with respectful children. Loves laying in the sun, exploring and curious about squirrels. He is house trained, does not like being crated and will bark and cry. Rain knows basic commands. Up to date on vaccines, needs neuter prior to adoption, flea/tick treatment, microchipped. Located in southern Idaho transport would be provided on approved adoption, within the Pacific northwest. Rusty Ridge is a 3-year-old Miniature Golden/Cocker/Poodle, born March 25, 2023, and he is looking for a loving foster or foster-to-adopt home where he can continue to heal and thrive. Rusty has had a difficult start in life. He came from an abusive breeder and has been in a secure home since he was 9 months old. Unfortunately, due to his past experiences, he has developed a fear of men with long beards and hats and has struggled to adjust to the male owner in the home. What Rusty needs most is a gentle, patient person who can help build his confidence and show him that the world can be a safe and loving place. Pookie - new to rescue, Shih tzu/Maltese mix, best estimate. Pookie i s 3 years old, she is about 8-10 pounds. She is good with other dogs and cats. She is crate trained, though prefers a soft bed or yours. She has had no accidents at night or during the day i the house, as long as she has access to the outdoors. We are learning about Pookie as she will still need her vetting done prior to her adoption. Located in Idaho.

Gentle, loving, quiet, wanting to mother everyone even the cats. Beauty loves wandering around the yard, laying on the porch, being close to her people giving love. Beauty is a schnauzer mix, about, she is 30 pounds, 6-8 years old. Housetrained, crate trained, leash trained, rides well in the car. Beauty came into rescue after finding herself in a shelter covered with foxtails and needed to be shaved. Located in southern Idaho, transport is provided to approved home within the Pacific northwest.
