Story
This handsome boy is looking for a new home. Smokey is a neutered four and a half year-old American Bulldog/Red Nose Terrier mix. He is a sweet, derpy guy who loves attention and being outside. He would be best as an only pet in a home with no young children (he’s just huge and unaware of how big he is) and someone who will give him lots of love and quality time. He’s a wonderful cuddler and very loving. He needs work with basic commands and walking on a leash but overall he is a great dog. He’s potty trained, kennel trained, and never chews on things he shouldn’t. Please contact me with any questions and feel free to share with anyone you think might be a good match for him.

Story
Please meet Ryder! Ryder has been returned to ECCHA and is looking for a quiet household for his FURever home! We are requiring Ryder to go to a household with no dogs, cats or small children (12 years or younger). We hope he can find a single household to reside in as he is the SWEETEST boy ever! He loves to run and does very well with puzzle toys. He does well in our Puppy Play Group. He just cannot go to a household with another animal, because he gets territorial of his things and people. He likes women more then men, but with a slow introduction does well with them. ECCHA is requiring training classes for Ryder. He has already been evaluated at Barks and Recreation ($80 value) and their trainer would be happy to continue working with him and his new family. Training sessions will not only strengthen the bond between Ryder and his new family, they will also form the foundation for a truly wonderful companionship. He is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations and will be microchipped! Ryder's adoption fee has been generously sponsored by Markquart Motors, but does still require a $100 training deposit to be the best canine citizen he can be. Please contact ECCHA with any other questions or fill out an application to meet this sweetie! ADOPT! Don't shop!

Longfellow came to ECCHA as a surrender and is ready to find a loving home to call his own! All puppies are required to attend a training class. This helps socialize the puppy, lowers return rates, or in the event they have to be surrendered in the future, it helps their adoptability! We will provide you with a list of trainers in the area that offer a discount for adopted puppies, but you are free to use a trainer that is not on the list. Once approved you will be contacted to set up a meeting time for your adoption. Adoption fee is $195 plus tax and licensing fees. Please contact ECCHA with any other questions or fill out an application below to meet this cutie! All is PAWSible when you ADOPT!

Story
Ellie came to ECCHA as a surrender and is ready to find a loving home to call her own! She is a very sweet girl who loves to be around people! She is very active and loves to play outside and go on long walks or runs. Her previous owners loved Ellie very much, but had to surrender her because of her behavior around their other dogs. Ellie would be happiest as the only pet in the home. She gets nervous and protective of her food and her person. Ellie is right around a year and a half old, spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150. Please contact ECCHA with any other questions. ADOPT, Don't shop!

Story
Please meet Billy! He was rescued from a puppy mill and has had little, to no, human interaction before coming to ECCHA. He must go to a home with another dog (or dogs) as he finds trust and comfort with his canine companions. Billy is a special boy who will take patience, time, and commitment to fully acclimate to his new family. For this reason, Billy is part of our foster-to-adopt program; as a way to ensure that the right fit is found, for both the potential adopters and Billy. Per the program, the adopters will pay a $50 deposit, have two weeks to get to know each other, and then be able to adopt. If it is not a forever fit, the deposit is not refundable but could be transferred to a different dog. If it is a forever fit, the $50 would go towards their $150 adoption fee.ECCHA has many resources on shy and fearful dogs. We would be happy to share them with you!

Story
Please meet Dukkah! She is two year old, spayed female. Dukkah was transferred to ECCHA with her sister, Bala, from a breeder. Both gals had very little human interaction prior to coming to us. Dukkah is the more confident of the two. She warms up quickly to humans and LOVES being next to her person. Dukkah is potty trained and working on her leash skills. She would do best in a home with a fenced in yard (with no holes! she is a very small escape artist). These ladies need to go to a quiet home with no small children (12 and under) as they are very scared of loud noises and quick movements.Dukkah is part of our foster-to-adopt program where potential adopters will have the opportunity to foster them before being adopted. A $50 deposit is required and can go towards their adoption fee or towards a different dog's adoption fee. To meet Dukkah please apply at www.eccha.org today!
