Story
Dozer is a 1.5 year old Doberman. His mom was a Doberman/Boxer mix and his dad was a purebred Doberman. He definitely takes after the Doberman breed. He is very affectionate and loves to play. He has ZERO aggression for people or animals. He loves kids and will cuddle as much as you let him. He is housetrained and knows how to sit, shake, and come. He is kennel trained for when we are not home but he doesn't like it. Since I took a job outside of the home, he is suffering from separation anxiety. He would do best with someone who is home. He is very smart and gets into mischief if he is left home alone outside of his kennel. He will sleep in his kennel at night but would very much prefer to sleep with his humans. He loves to play with other dogs. He has never seen a cat so I am unsure how he would react to that. Dozer is the typical "velcro dog" Doberman. He will follow you everywhere. He will seek attention all the time and will attempt to sit on your lap.

Story
Hi, I'm Mario! My favorite pass time activities include squirrel watching, chasing squirrels, going on walks to hunt squirrels and dreaming about squirrels. I'm told I'm very smart and learn new things quickly. While I seem perfect on the outside I've got a few issues I've been working on and could use some continued help with. I'm kind of awkward and goofy at times, but aren't we all? I love kids, especially the ones who like to play with me! I like to make friends with most other dogs, but I'm still learning what the appropriate way to meet them is. Cats.. why don't they want to play with me? I love a good routine, so if you think you are up for it I think we could be best friends! From the foster parents: Mario is a very sweet boy and smart too! He's a lab mix, but don't let the photos fool you; he is smaller than he looks weighing in around 45-50lbs. He's surprisingly very soft to pet and tends to shed a lot, but he doesn't mind being brushed. Mario was found wondering the streets in the city and taken in as a stray. When his previous owners never claimed him, Lucky Paws jumped in and rescued him. He's crate trained, potty trained and knows basic commands like sit, shake, down and a few others. Mario is a submissive dog with his humans and doesn't like getting yelled at when being naughty. He tends to act out when he doesn't get enough attention according to his standards, however he doesn't act out when you stick to a good routine. He likes to talk (bark) a lot more than some people enjoy; especially if there's a squirrel, dog or mail man around. He needs a home with a fenced in yard, because he will run off if not on a leash or in a fenced in area. He loves kids, but would do best in a home with older kids who will not let him run out the front door when you're not looking. He has some anxiety issues and is a bit high strung.
