Story
Name:  Breckenridge  Age:  4 months  Breed: Terrier mix  Gender: Male  Weight:  10 lbs   Good with kids: Not fostered with, but puppy  Good with dogs: yes  Good with cats: Not fostered with, but puppy   Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and prior vetting paperwork.   Foster location:  Waupaca   Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html  Meet Breck -  Named after Breckenridge, and just like the mountain town, Breck is equal parts charming and fun. This brown-and-white cutie brings a little altitude energy — playful when it’s time, but happy to slow it down and enjoy the view.  Breck is curious, social, and always down to see what everyone else is doing. He’s got that friendly, easygoing personality that makes him fit in anywhere, whether that’s romping with his siblings or posting up for some well-earned snuggles.   Breck was 1 of 6, and now he’s the last one in foster care. Born in Texas foster care, he’s spent all but a month of his little life with his current foster. His mom and siblings have all found their forever homes… but Breck? He stayed. When a new litter arrived, he stepped up like the big bro he is—helping the babies while they, too, traveled to their forever homes. Now, he’s the only puppy again. Forgotten. Overlooked. (Yes, Breck—the brown guy in the bow tie in the photo—is still here.) Breck isn’t just waiting—he’s ready. Gentle, smart, and full of big bro energy, he deserves a forever home all his own.  Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved.  An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest if it isn't a good fit.March 7, 2026, 10:59 am

Story
Name: June Age: 11 months old  Breed: Terrier mix Gender: Female Weight: 40# Good with kids: yes Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: no Current on vaccinations: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Appleton  Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio:  June is an all to common story, adopted from an overcrowded shelter as a puppy and then returned after they had a baby. Many of June’s siblings had been adopted through OPARI this summer and they were such a foster fav we couldn’t leave this girl behind.  She has proven to be such a sweet girl already, her return papers said no kids- we would like to respectfully say her previous family is way wrong. She loves respectful children, but can be a bit enthusiastic with her love. June can is nervous around some men and isn’t a fan of hats but we all have our quirks ‍&#226&#153&#128&#239&#184&#143 She is decompressing but so far seems to be on the higher end of activity levels. She is smart and loves to love on her people but if there is another dog to play with she will pick play. While she needs time to settle in for now our recommendation is going to be an active home, and not a new new year resolution active, but a proven record. Maybe a family that has other active dogs to play with in a fenced in backyard, or regular doggie daycare trips. Please know this may change as she settles more but for now that is what we are learning about this pretty lady.  Puppies will be puppies—they scratch, nip, jump, have accidents, and chew on things they shouldn’t. They require time, patience, and consistent training. Please only consider adoption if you’re truly ready for the responsibility and lifelong commitment they deserve. Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fit.March 7, 2026, 11:13 pm

Story
Name: Dublin Age: 6 weeks Breed: Shih Tzu mix Gender: male Weight: 1 pound Good with kids: yes Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: not currently fostered with Current on vaccinations: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Weyauwega  Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio:  These sweet Shih Tzu mix puppies are just starting their journey into the world! They are still very young and are currently finishing up the important job of weaning from their mama, so they will not be ready to go home until mid-March. Like all puppies, they will need families who are ready for the full puppy experience. That means potty training, kennel training, learning manners, and lots of patience while they figure out the world around them. Puppies don’t come pre-programmed—they will chew things they shouldn’t, forget their manners, have accidents in the house, and occasionally test your patience. But with consistency, structure, and love, they grow into amazing companions. These little ones will need: • Potty training and a consistent routine • Crate/kennel training to help them learn boundaries and feel secure • Basic manners and obedience as they grow • Socialization with people, environments, and new experiences • Patience and understanding while they learn what it means to be a good dog The reward for all of that work? A loyal best friend who will love you for years to come. Meet and greets can absolutely be scheduled, and adoptions may be approved ahead of time, but please note that these puppies will go home at a later date once they are old enough. Because of the high demand for puppies, we do not place holds. The approved adopter will complete the adoption and then pick up their puppy when they are ready to go home. If you are ready for the fun, chaos, cuddles, and commitment that come with raising a puppy, one of these little fluffballs might be the perfect addition to your family! Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fit.March 8, 2026, 10:39 am

Story
Name: Ron Age: 5 years old    Breed: Shep mix   Gender: male   Weight: 57lbs   Good with kids: very nervous around kids would recommend either no kids or older kids.    Good with dogs: YES   Good with cats: YES   Current on vaccinations: Yes   Fixed: Yes   Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork.   Foster location: Weyauwega    Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html   Bio: Everyone meet sweet Ron! You may have already been introduced to Hermione and Harry through OPARI and now here's Ron. Ron and those two were found roaming the streets of Texas. He has some scars and he's very skinny. Ron had a fractured hip and needed a FHO. He came to Wisconsin with that done and completed he still has a hard time putting full weight on that leg but with time should heal.  Ron takes some time to warm up. He's a very quiet and timid boy. Once he knows who you are he gets a little more pep in his step and is excited to see you. He's most comfortable outside which makes sense being a stray. For the most part right now Ron finds a nice cozy spot out of the way and naps. Ron is getting used to the kennel but for right now he is using an indestructible kennel for his safety. Ron does not get kennelled at night and has been doing wonderful.  Ron hasn't been very playful with the resident dogs he coexists very well with them  has shown no sign here at his foster home of resource guarding and doesn't seem to mind the cat. Ron has such a sweet loving soul and I cannot wait to see more of a personality shine the more comfortable he gets.    Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue.
