Story
Meet Teddy, the adorable dude with a heart as big as his love for tennis balls! He’s a tidy little guy who keeps his space neat and loves snuggling up with his likimat, toys, blankets, and of coursehis favorite people! Teddy is a total goofball who enjoys a good game of fetch and a puzzle feeder challenge. He’s a quick learner, always happy to please, and easy to correct when needed (because he’s got a good head on those shoulders!). While Teddy is mostly quiet in his room, he’ll let you know if he needs a potty break or spots a fellow dog friend (he's a bit dog-selective, especially through fences). But he’s quick to get back on track with a little guidance. This playful, affectionate boy just wants to be loved and is ready to shower you with all his goofy, cuddly energy. He’s a pro at sitting, staying, and heeling and he’ll happily show off his skills. If you’re looking for a fun, loyal, and loveable companion, Teddy’s your guy!

Story
Draco is a very good boy with a wonderful, easygoing personality. He does great in a crate when you need to step out and is well-mannered on walks. He understands commands and is overall a well-behaved, eager-to-please companion. He’s done well with teenagers and shows no concerning behaviors around people, strangers included. At the Sanctuary, Draco has been around dogs of all sizes and ages and has done wonderfully with everyone. Cats are still an unknown for Draco and would likely require some guidance and training, so a cat-free home would be ideal for him. When it’s time to relax, Draco is all about the cuddles, especially during TV time. He enjoys toys, though he’s perfectly happy to skip them if something more interesting is going on. He has a medium-to-low energy level, making him adaptable to many home environments. Handsome, loving, playful, and gentle, Draco has a beautiful soul and an excellent demeanor. He’s truly an all-around great dog who’s ready to make someone very happy.

Story
Why adopt one amazing dog when you can have two? Kruiser is a one-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, and he comes with the best kind of bonus — his bonded sister, Loretta. These two are a package deal, and honestly, once you meet them, you'll understand why keeping them together is a no-brainer. Kruiser and Loretta are sweet, smart, and eager to please. They love people, go wild for treats and toys, and already know sit and stay — proof that this duo is as quick to learn as they are fun to be around. Outside, they love to run, chase each other around, and do a little people-watching from the yard. Inside, they settle into their kennels nicely and are both house trained and crate trained. These two just want to be with their people and they'll bring double the loyalty, double the love, and double the fun to whoever is lucky enough to take them home. Apply now to make Kruiser and Loretta part of your family — your home is about to get a whole lot better with two.

Story
Pickles is looking for that truly special person or family that wants to give a senior dog her best life ever. Over the course of her ten years, she has developed some likes and dislikes, meaning absolutely NO to being in a crate and absolutely YES to being brushed and belly rubs. She loves attention and is not afraid to remind you with a head butt or two. If your life is getting hectic, just head out the door with her, take a calming walk and follow that up with the two of you taking a nap on the couch. With a harrumph and a sigh of not this again, she will hold still while she is given the eye drops she requires. She feels that barking is unnecessary and unladylike, so it's quiet time all the time for her and you. If you're up for making a place in your heart and your home for this sweet senior, please apply below to meet her. www.lucky7dogrescue.com/applynow

Story
Nilla is the kind of pup who makes friends with everyone he meets! He loves EVERYONE equally, no favorites here! He greets each person like they’re already his best friend and is always ready to offer cuddles, kisses, and plenty of puppy fun. Nilla is doing great with potty training and is settling into a consistent routine beautifully. He keeps his crate clean overnight and settles into his crate very nicely. He already knows “sit” and is extremely food motivated, which should make training a breeze. He’s still a playful puppy, so he’ll need a family willing to continue working with him, but he is off to a fantastic start! Nilla walks well on a leash, although he does like to stop frequently for important sniffing business. He enjoys playing with squeaky toys and is learning the art of fetch. He’s working on bringing the toy back and is making great progress! Nilla has done wonderfully with kids, including children ages 5 and 9. He is gentle when playing and gets especially excited for his morning kisses. He has also shown that he does well with other dogs. As for cats, Nilla is very interested in them, so he would likely do best in a cat-free home where he doesn’t have to resist the temptation to investigate his feline friends. Loving, playful, snuggly, sweet, and fun, Nilla is ready to find his forever family. If you’re looking for a happy-go-lucky puppy who will greet you like you’re his favorite person every single day, Nilla might just be your guy! 🐶💕

Story
Katie B. has come such a long way since entering foster care , and watching her confidence grow has been incredibly rewarding! This sweet girl is learning to trust, relax, have fun, and discover just how wonderful life with people can be. Katie B. can still be a little shy when meeting new people, but she is making progress every day. She may need some time to feel comfortable and can seem like she has to “start over” with new people, but she is learning that people can be trusted. Once she feels safe, she loves attention and gentle pets. She will even jump up beside you when she’s in the mood for some affection! She also enjoys her independence and is perfectly happy sitting quietly by herself and taking in the world around her. At other times, she wants to be right next to you getting pets. Seeing her choose to seek out affection on her own is just one of the many little victories that makes Katie B. so special. Katie B. lives with other dogs in her foster home and does very well with most dogs. She seems comfortable with dogs of various sizes as long as they aren't overly threatening or intimidating. She especially enjoys hanging out with her foster dog friend Winnie and is doing her very best to learn how to be a “dog” alongside her! 🥰 And one of Katie B.'s favorite things? Car rides! She loves getting out and about and experiencing new things with her foster family. She settles nicely in her kennel or will quietly find a cozy spot to relax. She is learning that life is about playing, exploring, relaxing, and enjoying all the good things that come with being a dog. Katie B. would thrive in a calm home with a family who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her set the pace. Katie B. started her journey with us on the very shy, higher end of the semi-feral scale, but look at her now! She is learning to trust, learning to have fun, and discovering that she can ask for affection when she wants it. Her transformation is already incredible, and we can't wait to see what she becomes with a family of her very own. The person who earns Katie B.'s trust won't just be adopting a dog, they'll get to experience the incredibly special journey of watching her become the happy, confident dog she's meant to be.
