Story
Meet Chewy! 🐾 If you are a rottweiler lover - this guy is for you! Chewy fits all of the rottie stereotypes; he's got a big brick head with a thick skull, prefers not to listen but talks a lot, loves to play hard and rest harder. He is a family guy and loves to have his pack around. He has lived with other dogs and kids before, and we would recommend kids sturdy enough to withstand his big hugs and bouncy rear end. Chewy has a propensity for going for adventures. Under the fence or over the fence, doesn't matter to him. A secure yard and family able to keep an eye on him will be his safest option! Chewy also has heartworm. Thankfully he seems otherwise healthy and our veterinary team is ready to help complete his treatment! He will need to come back and visit us multiple times over the next few months. If you are ready to commit to being slobbered on and told you are wrong for the rest of his life, then come meet Chewy! His big head and big heart are ready to join his forever family!

Story
Meet Stuffed Bell Pepper, a energetic soul with a tender heart. Bell Pepper came to us as a stray, so his past is a bit of a mystery, but one thing is clear he’s a sweet, sensitive boy who’s ready to find his safe place. New situations can make him nervous, so he’ll do best with a patient adopter who understands the value of slow introductions and letting trust grow at his pace. He would do best in a home as the only dog. With kindness, consistency, and a calm environment, Stuffed Bell Pepper blossoms into a loyal, loving companion who just wants to feel secure. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted friend to take life one step at a time with you, he might be your perfect match. Medical Consideration Explained: Pepper has some sore feet as a result of the icy outdoors! He has some booties to wear while outside in the snow to protect his sore feet!

Story
Meet the sweetest senior boy, Max! Max is a loving and gentle soul who is looking for someone to provide him with endless snuggles and love! Max is a very handsome boy who deserves to be told this at least every minute of the day. Max may fair better in a home with cats than dogs however he has had positive interactions with some dogs he has met. Due to this we would ask you bring in your current pup to meet this sweet boy prior to bringing him home. As a senior boy Max also would do better in a home with older children, as he doesn't have the energy like when he was a young lad and able to keep up with younger kids. Medically Max is overall a healthy guy however he does need to gain some weight which we encourage you working with your vet to monitor. Max also has an injury to his tail that is healing well with his bandage but would need ongoing monitoring and treatment until fully healed. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions about this honey of a boy or come in to meet him today!

Story
Meet Dak! At 3 years old, Dak is in his prime full of life, enthusiasm, and ready for action! He has lots of energy to release and would thrive with an active family who enjoys walks, play sessions, training time, and maybe even outdoor adventures. Dak has lived with younger children, but he does best with older kids who understand boundaries and can respect his space when he needs it. He’s a good boy he just appreciates a little mutual understanding. Now, let’s talk about his special talent… Dak is a bit of an escape artist! He’s been known to hop fences and make a bold dash through an open door. But here’s the good news: he is incredibly smart and a quick learner. With consistent training, structure, and a solid routine, Dak has all the potential to break that cycle. He just needs someone committed to helping him channel his energy in positive ways. Dak truly blossoms when he has a canine companion. He builds confidence from other dogs and becomes much more social and relaxed when he’s not the only pup in the home. Because of this, he would do best going to a home with another dog to help him adjust and feel secure in new environments. If you’re looking for a bright, energetic dog who will thrive with guidance, companionship, and a little patience, Dak might just be your perfect match. With the right structure and a furry best friend by his side, this smart boy is ready to become an incredible lifelong companion.

Meet Squiggy! Squiggy is a sweet medium mix breed with a gentle soul! He may be a bit shy when you first meet him, so it's best to take things slow and let him warm up at his own pace. Once he's comfortable, Squiggy loves a nice, gentle pet. One of his favorite things is going for walks with the staff, where he gets to explore the world at his own speed.
