Story
Aquila is an approximately 12 years old, miniature Australian Shepherd. She was raised as an outside dog on the ranch in Wyoming. She is NOT house/kennel trained. She can jump lower fences so a secure yard with 6'+ fences is necessary. She was the sole dog to my grandparents, so she does not get along with other dogs/cats for the most part and has had no exposure to small children. She cannot be in a home with poultry or livestock, as she has killed a significant # of my chickens and will chase livestock with no recall (during her lifespan my grandparents did not have livestock on the place to behavior train her to not chase/kill them). She is very friendly to people but definitely needs to have an "alpha" person in her life. I have had her since March when my grandparents were sick. Ideal home will be: Companion home that will allow her to be an outside only dog with adequate housing/shelter, tall/secure fences, without any other animals or access to animals/livestock.

Story
Ovy is our Colorado mountain girl because she loves to trail run, hike and ski and is happiest in the outdoors.  She needs a home that is calm and with no other dogs. She also would do best with one person or a couple. Ovy’s most precious traits are doing zoomies on a hike or walk, rolling on her back in the grass, and playing chase with toys.    September 22, 2023, 5:24 pm

Story
Introducing the gentle and affectionate Tallulah, a lovable dog seeking her forever home! This endearing pup adores belly rubs, making new friends on walks, giving hugs to her favorite humans, and snuggling for hours on end. Although she cherishes her cozy naps, Tallulah is a dream walking companion – always eager to be right by your side, her excitement barely contained as she wiggles with joy. Throughout your walks, Tallulah will gaze up at you, seeking praise and affection, while occasionally needing a gentle nudge to resist the allure of squirrels or geese. Although she's still discovering the joy of playing with toys, her playful spirit shines through as she frolics in the snow. Already perfectly house-trained and a fantastic walker, Tallulah's ideal family would provide plenty of time for long naps, belly rubs, and leisurely walks. She dreams of a home where she can be surrounded by kindness, belly rubs, cozy blankets, and exciting adventures. She does take a little bit of time to warm up to new people, so patience is a must! Tallulah would thrive in a home without small children, as they can overwhelm her. Her perfect environment includes a backyard, a furry sibling to play with, and an abundance of love. Don't miss your chance to welcome this sweet and gentle soul into your life – she's the loving companion you've been waiting for! September 22, 2023, 5:24 pm

Meet Surya! This gal is looking for a new home! She is a 3 year old mouth cur mix and weighs about 50lbs. Surya loves her humans unconditionally and completely! Because of this she can resource guard against other dogs.   This is why despite the fact she gets along with playmates, she would like to be in an otherwise pet free home.  September 22, 2023, 5:24 pm

Story
Korben is a goofball and a lover - wherever you land, he’s at your feet.   He melts for belly scratches. He is potty trained and knows basic commands.   He walks well on a leash with a gentle leader when by himself, but he does get excited when he sees another dog and needs some redirecting.   Korben has a lot of energy and would do best with an active household that can give him plenty of daily exercise as well as a house with a yard. He is great with young kids and currently lives with 2 other dogs.   September 22, 2023, 5:24 pm
