Sparkles is doing well with crate training—she may whine for a few minutes, then curls up and sleeps through the night. As a young pup, she’s still working on house training but is already starting to give clear cues when she needs to go outside. Leash walking is a work in progress, but she’s improving with practice and patience. She rides beautifully in the car, gets along well with the resident dog, and shows little interest in cats. Sparkles is also very kid-friendly; she’s been wonderful with a six-year-old and enjoys gentle play and attention. With her loving nature, playful spirit, and eagerness to learn, Sparkles will thrive in a home ready to continue her puppy training and shower her with affection. Hi, my name is Acorn and I am from Minnesota! Acorn is young, cute, and full of energy. He's a great playmate for our other dog. We do have to watch that they don't start to play too rough. But when we tell them to break it up, Acorn is great at suddenly acting like an angel. He's got those big eyes that almost pop out of his head. He's not totally potty trained at this point, but we are working on it. I'm sure being in his forever home would only help with this. We also have a cat. Acorn does well with him too, but again we still don't leave them unsupervised yet at this point. Because occasionally Acorn will nip at him. But again you just reprimand him and he knocks it off. We have not had him around children at all, but my guess would be he'd do fine. As long as you keep an eye on them at first. He loves to cuddle when his energy finally runs out at the end of the day. He would be a perfect fit for any experienced dog owner. Or even a first timer, as long as you have the time and energy to give him proper guidance as he continues to transition out of puppyhood. He loves treats, but not rawhides (he swallowed one at the shelter before we picked him up, and had an upset tummy for a few days). And car rides (but he might try to stand on your center console and lick your face).

She is a tall girl and looks to be a good weight. She is good with other dogs and she loves her kennel. She is a timid girl but she does look like a formidable force. She bonds deeply and is a smart girl. She already has bonded to the kennel workers who are female. She knows sit and some hand commands and is decent on a leash. She is potty trained and good in a car. She would be great with someone that knows the breed. She is moderately active and not extremely confident. She will be a wonderful companion dog and would be good with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is currently spayed and vaccinated. She is healthy and looking for her forever home. Truth be told, I am afraid of pretty much everything in this enormous world from commotion to loud noises like thunderstorms so a fenced yard is a must. Additionally, I am looking for a VERY special fur-ever family who is lovingly patient and will NEVER give up on me! I have not met any cats or kids, but I am good with other dogs and will need another large dog who will help me feel comfortable and secure! I don’t play much but I’m a smart girl who knows what “go potty” means and I’m potty & leash trained. As for the kennel/crate, foster mom doesn’t put me in that cave because I am an amazingly good girl who simply lays in her bedroom, she can even shut the door if she wants to because I feel safe in there. Welcome Jack to CCPAL Rescue. Jack is a 4-month-old German Shepherd Pup. He weighs about 35 pounds and he has some really wonky ears. They should be upright sometime soon. He bonds very deeply to his human and follows her around everywhere. He is good in his crate and good with other dogs. He is smart and wants to learn. He is still very clumsy and very much puppy, even though he is pretty big. His dad was around 100 pounds. Jack may be 75 pounds full grown is our best guess. He was found on the side of the road that someone was giving them away or going to take them to the pound. CCPAL took the girl and the boy puppy. Our guess a breeder or something. Jack goes potty outside. He will take a bath but doesn’t like the blowdryer much. He has a medium length coat with some waviness on the hair near his back and back legs. He is a big baby boy, even if he does look like he will have a fierce look. He would be great with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone that doesn’t work all day everyday is best for a puppy. He needs to finish his puppy training and he also will be best in a home with someone that knows GSD need physical and mental stimulation to be happy.
