I am a very sweet, 2-year old lady looking for a family to call my own. My foster mom says I am a very loyal sidekick who believes in stranger danger but endless snuggles once you’re approved! Sometimes I take a moment to size you up, but once I decide you’re cool, you’ve officially been promoted to “favorite human.” I am fully potty trained (let’s be honest, a lady has standards), love to give gentle kisses, and am happiest just being near my people. New faces make me cautious at first, but with a little patience (and maybe a treat or two), I’ll melt into your lap like warm butter. Here’s a few additional fun facts about me: · Dog friendly · People friendly – I might use my voice to greet at first · I love treats and am learning some skills (sit, down, stay) · Mom says I do “ok” on a leash. I don’t pull too much, but when I don’t want to go a certain direction, I make it known that we should go a different way. I currently live with my foster family, which includes 2 active boys (10 & 13) and my fur-sister, Winnie. Winnie and I like to chase and play together. The perfect home for me will have: · Humans who will be patient with me as I can be nervous around new people. · A family who is willing to continue teaching me new skills. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are a best guess.

Gunner is an adorable sable male GSD. Gunner lost his mom suddenly and needed a place to go, so we took him in. Gunner had a knee surgery previously, so he does walk a little funny, but that does not stop him from playing with his jolly balls! Gunner should be the only dog in the home at this point in his life. He is crate trained, neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Experience needed for Gunnar, he’s a great dog, but needs a strong handler. Story

Hi, my name is Acorn and I am from Minnesota! Acorn is young, cute, and full of energy. He's a great playmate for our other dog. We do have to watch that they don't start to play too rough. But when we tell them to break it up, Acorn is great at suddenly acting like an angel. He's got those big eyes that almost pop out of his head. He's not totally potty trained at this point, but we are working on it. I'm sure being in his forever home would only help with this. We also have a cat. Acorn does well with him too, but again we still don't leave them unsupervised yet at this point. Because occasionally Acorn will nip at him. But again you just reprimand him and he knocks it off. We have not had him around children at all, but my guess would be he'd do fine. As long as you keep an eye on them at first. He loves to cuddle when his energy finally runs out at the end of the day. He would be a perfect fit for any experienced dog owner. Or even a first timer, as long as you have the time and energy to give him proper guidance as he continues to transition out of puppyhood. He loves treats, but not rawhides (he swallowed one at the shelter before we picked him up, and had an upset tummy for a few days). And car rides (but he might try to stand on your center console and lick your face).

As expected of a puppy her age, Confetti is working on house-training and crate-training and still has accidents but she is doing well on the leash with walks. Goose is a 5 year old Labrador retriever / German shepherd mix. He was adopted from a rescue in St. Louis Park at 9 weeks old. Goose is a true lab; he loves to be by his humans at all times, gets into mischief, and loves a game of tug of war / fetch. He is very curious and likes to explore and sniff everything in new environments. Since rescuing Goose, he’s always been anxious. He is scared of airplane contrails and will let you know immediately if he sees them outside. He’s also not a fan of big objects being moved around. He is not currently crate trained but was as a puppy. He knows most common commands but doesn’t like to listen unless there’s treats involved. Goose has been e-collar trained at dokken kennels and he is familiar with e-collet commands as well. Goose is currently living in a home with an older dog (7 years old), two little humans, and his human parents. He generally gets along with all dogs. If he doesn’t, he will separate himself and go play or explore by himself
