Story
Hi! My name is Stephanie and I am from Minnesota. This beautiful lady is full of energy and if you toss out a ball she will run like the wind to retrieve it and bring it back to you. Her favorite balls are the ones that squeak (just ask my neighbor). She is confident with other dogs but never aggressive and my Golden fell in love and followed her everywhere. She seems to be watching her figure so treats aren't her jam but she definitely wants to please her people and comes when called. She knows sit and shake but could use some training on leash walks as she seems to think she is a husky pulling a sled. She is house trained and would settle down and hang out in my office while I was working. Not a barker at all even for a door bell ring and she will never chew up your shoes. She is such a sweet dog and wants nothing more than to sit by you on the couch and cuddle. If you rub her stomach she just melts and makes the funniest wiggles to try and get you to never stop. She has one bent ear but that is more of a feature than a fault and she will give you the biggest grins if you tell her how pretty she is.

If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Looking for a loyal and loving companion? Meet Roxee, a sweet and gentle 6-year-old German Shepherd who's looking for her forever home! Weighing in at around 90 pounds, this girl has a heart as big as her paws! Roxee is not only stunning but incredibly adorable with her floppy ear, she will steal your heart in no time! If her looks weren't enough to win you over, this girl is as gentle as she is strong. Her calm yet playful personality will not only win you over but also any canine companions with slow introductions. Roxee is also well-mannered, affectionate, and enjoys spending time with her people. Whether it’s going for walks, playing in the yard, or just lounging by your side, she’ll be your faithful companion through thick and thin. Roxee, as evidenced in the photos, is also an excellent co worker and travel companion. Roxee is house-trained, crate trained and continues to improve on her leash walking skills each day. She would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of exercise and attention, and where she can continue to build on her social skills. She’s looking for someone who will provide her with love, structure, and plenty of belly rubs. If you’re ready for a loyal and loving friend, Roxee may be the perfect fit for your family! Is Roxee the one for you? Get your application in today to meet this wonderful girl and give her the forever home she deserves! Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.  ##2310655##

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!       Meet Mara, the one-eyed wonder pup with the heart of a lion and the zoomies of a rocket! This German Shepherd girl may be small now (just 20 pounds of pure mischief), but she’s got big plans—and they mostly involve playing, snuggling, and turning your house into a joyful chaos zone. Mara is a 3 month old puppy who’s already overcome more than most—she lost an eye after a traumatic injury, but don't tell her that, because she thinks she's invincible. She’s a champion at loving humans (big and small), adores other dogs, and finds cats endlessly fascinating… maybe too fascinating, so dog-savvy cats are a plus. Her hobbies include galloping around the backyard, chasing her dog friends, jumping up to say hi (we’re working on it), and melting hearts with her goofy grin. Potty training and crate life are still a work in progress—she’s vocal about her crate opinions—but she’s eager to learn and super food motivated. Mara would love a forever home with another playful pup, a fenced yard for her daily zooms, and humans who see her not as a puppy with a past, but as the spunky, sweet, one-of-a-kind sidekick she’s becoming. Ready to adopt a pirate princess with boundless energy and love to give? Mara’s waiting to wag her tail at you. **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue. Many of our puppies have a mama who was not properly socialized before coming to Underdog Rescue. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters. Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter. Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society. Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized. If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work! P l ease note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   This puppy requires an application fee. This fee must be paid within 24 hours or your application will be considered void.  We will not review or contact applicants that have not completed the payment portion. Puppy Applications will be responded to within 5 business days, after receipt of the application fee.  Please understand that paying the fee does not guarantee you will be approved to adopt the puppy. Our goal is place puppies in homes that are suited for their individual needs. You may be willing and able to provide a great home, but if it doesn’t meet the specific needs of the puppy, we will not approve your application. We accept applications for puppies until we have a candidate that meets all of the requirements needed for the specific puppy and they have been contacted to review the adoption process as well as agree to all of the terms to move forward. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    ********* Please apply online to schedule a one-on-one meeting with me - https://underdogrescuemn.com/canine-adoption-application/ DOB: Approximately 5/23/16 Requires another dog in home: Yes, needs another large social dog Okay with dogs of all sizes: Yes Okay with cats: Unknown Okay with children under 12 years old: Unknown weigh: 63 pounds Requires a fenced yard: Yes Note: dogs must always be leashed whenever outside of a contained area Hello, my name is Ellen. I am a gorgeous, sweet, and very kind albeit shy adult female German Shepherd. Truth be told, I am afraid of pretty much everything in this enormous world from commotion to loud noises like thunderstorms so a fenced yard is a must. Additionally, I am looking for a VERY special fur-ever family who is lovingly patient and will NEVER give up on me! I have not met any cats or kids, but I am good with other dogs and will need another large dog who will help me feel comfortable and secure! I don’t play much but I’m a smart girl who knows what “go potty” means and I’m potty & leash trained. As for the kennel/crate, foster mom doesn’t put me in that cave because I am an amazingly good girl who simply lays in her bedroom, she can even shut the door if she wants to because I feel safe in there. I am very slowly learning what it’s like to feel safe and loved. In fact, I have become comfortable enough with foster mom that I greet her in the morning by putting my head right next to hers while I patiently await lovingly gentle head scratches! Hint, hint! By the way, I also love butt scratches and ear rubs! Just sayin’! Hee, hee!! Anyway, I really am an incredibly sweet girl who tries SO hard to be brave. All I need now is a calm fur-ever home. Sure, I may not ever be that girl that greets you at the door or gives you kisses but I assure you that I have an enormous heart that is brimming with unconditional love and I long to share with YOU!! All I ask is that you give unconditional love in return and allow me the time, space, and patience I need to become comfortable and learn to trust in my own time! I promise that I’m worth it and in time, I will love you more than all the pebbles of sand on the planet! Love, Ellen *Many of our dogs are rescued from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends.  In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Meet Sunny, the sweetheart survivor with a smile that never quits!  Sunny is a 67-pound Shepherd mix who lives up to her name in every way. This young adult girl has been through a lot—she was hit by a car before arriving in foster care, and her back leg didn’t heal perfectly—but you’d never know it from her bright eyes and unstoppable spirit. She may walk with a limp and take daily medication for arthritis, but she still runs, plays and loves life like any happy, goofy pup. Sunny’s personality is just as golden as her name. She’s loving, loyal, and happiest when she's near her people—belly up for rubs or showing off her skills like sit, lay down, roll over and also giving a polite paw.  She’s a toy fanatic (tug-of-war is a favorite!), adores car rides and walks, and will melt for strawberries, cucumbers, or anything edible. She has worked hard to overcome early separation anxiety and is currently on a low dose of Trazodone, which her foster family is slowly tapering. She sleeps in a special crate when alone and has learned to feel safe in it—but given the choice, she’d much rather be at your side. Sunny gets along well with dogs of all sizes and is submissive and playful with those who want to be her buddy. She would love to have a doggy sibling, but she’s also content to soak up all the love on her own. She's been respectful around cats in a temporary foster home and is likely fine with dog-savvy kids, especially those who are gentle and understanding. Despite her rough start, Sunny is full of love, light and resilience.  She’s a quiet snuggler at home, a spirited adventurer on walks, and a total sweetheart to everyone she meets. If you’re looking for a devoted best friend with a heart of gold and the happiest little grin, Sunny is ready to shine in your life!   *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. Story
Welcome Jack to CCPAL Rescue. Jack is a 4-month-old German Shepherd Pup. He weighs about 35 pounds and he has some really wonky ears. They should be upright sometime soon. He bonds very deeply to his human and follows her around everywhere. He is good in his crate and good with other dogs. He is smart and wants to learn. He is still very clumsy and very much puppy, even though he is pretty big. His dad was around 100 pounds. Jack may be 75 pounds full grown is our best guess. He was found on the side of the road that someone was giving them away or going to take them to the pound. CCPAL took the girl and the boy puppy. Our guess a breeder or something. Jack goes potty outside. He will take a bath but doesn’t like the blowdryer much. He has a medium length coat with some waviness on the hair near his back and back legs. He is a big baby boy, even if he does look like he will have a fierce look. He would be great with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone that doesn’t work all day everyday is best for a puppy. He needs to finish his puppy training and he also will be best in a home with someone that knows GSD need physical and mental stimulation to be happy. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
