Story
This cowboy is Paul ❤️ Paul moved in a few weeks ago after being dumped at pet cemetery with his siblings & a ball- A ball that we quickly learned was blocking his tummy. Surgery took place & with some recovery time Paul has really shown himself to be more than just good looks. He has been on neighborhood walks, social excursions in town, hikes, & fly fishing outings. While these activities hit a solid comfort zone for Paul, his willingness to participate is probably because he wants to be with his people & foster brother, Trout. Paul truly is one of the sweetest puppies ever to stay with us. He prefers to spend his time doing nice things with nice humans/dogs to have the nicest days. When Trout offers the regular activities (like chase & wrestle), Paul participates. He usually will not initiate. He only plays defense (no offense), which has the effect of quickly stalemating each match 😂. His preferred activities include; hikes, catching grasshoppers, unsuccessful rabbit & squirrel chases, nice naps next to his foster brother, eating good meals, running to the ice maker when heard, having a dedicated spot on the sofa & bed, touring the kitchen on food-smelling strolls and always having an eye on his foster mom. We expect foster puppies to have accidents, & needing a crate but Paul has already graduated from both. He is potty trained & although he is crate trained, he does not necessarily need one. He and Trout have been left alone up to 3.5 hours with zero issues (He is not a chewer). You may be wondering if Paul has any vices. He truly is the easiest pup I have ever fostered. He’s great around people (kids included), and walks with a loose leash. Paul does enjoy meeting new dogs, but doesn’t like a lot of dog commotion (ie hyper active dogs), but as he continues to gain more confidence, I believe this will subside. If you know someone with a social dog who would love to add another pup who is an extreme outlier on the sweetness scale, let them know about Paul. Paul is neutered, microchipped, & up to date on shots. His adoption fee is $350 to help cover his vetting.

Story
Daisy, great pyrenees, female, 9 yo, 95 lbSweet Daisy was surrendered by the breeder because she was not fit for breeding any more. She spent her life in a kennel with a dog run and was quite cautious at first to go cross country in our big yard. Now she enjoys the freedom to run and the smell of rain and grass. Good with dogs. She is super sweet, calm and a little shy at first. She would love to be part of a family at last. She is our favorite and brings lots of joy to everyone she meets! Daisy needs a fenced yard with least 5' tall fence as she can run very fast and far. Adoption fee $325. Story
Dale is a 2.5MO Pyr weighing about 20lbs.  We are not sure if Dale and his siblings are purebred but we do know and dad were both Pyr (we just cannot confirm they were both purebreds) since nobody did a breed DNA test.  We are guessing Dale and his siblings will be about 70-90lbs when full grown (same size as their parents). Dale came to CO with his 5 siblings when their family had an "oops" litter and didn't know what to do with 6 growing puppies.  We required they get their two current dog fixed so this does not happen again, and took the pups so we could find them good, loving homes here in CO.  When the pups came in they were in pretty rough shape.  They had been living outside in mud, with barely any room to get around.  Once they had a good bath, consistent heatlhy food, a few vet checks, they started to feel and look amazing.  They are now happy, healthy, playful, and loving pups ready to find their forever families.  Since coming to CO they have all been well socialized with other dogs and humans are doing great, and are truly the sweetest. Dales foster says he is the more adventurous, playful, and exlporative pup.  He loves to play in the yard see what the world has to offer.   If you are interested in adopting Dale or one of his siblings, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##2043230##

Sadie is a 3.5 MO Pyr weighing about 25lbs.  We are not sure if Sadie and her siblings are purebred but we do know and dad were both Pyr (but it sounds like mom has some Border Collie in her too. We are guessing Sadie and her siblings will be about 60-80lbs when full grown (same size as their parents). Sadie's foster says she is the sweetest, most loving and calm puppy.  She will fall asleep while she is being held and she will even give little snores.  She loves to play with her littermate, but is otherwise pretty calm.  Sadie is extremely smart and is doing well with her house training and she has mastered coming when she is called.  Sadie does well with all people and other dogs.  She can be a little shy at first but opens up pretty quick.  Sadie is a wonderful dog and will make an amazing addition to any family.   If you are interested in adopting Sadie or one of her siblings, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##2050325##
