Story
Meet Nataliya!
Nataliya is a beautiful 7-month-old, 55-pound female Goberian (Golden Retriever/Siberian Husky) puppy. In the short time since she has been in rescue, she has become a sweet and affectionate pup who no longer seems to be fearful. She enjoys playing with toys, exploring the yard, playing with her foster siblings, and following her foster mom everywhere.
Nataliya has a beautiful black, gray, and white coat with gorgeous markings on her face. She is eager to please and follows directions well, as long as she can control her excitement! She is currently 45 pounds and will likely be a large dog when fully grown. She is fostered with a one-year-old mama dog and her three puppies, who she loves playing with.
Nataliya is medium-to-high energy now and will likely remain active into adulthood. Despite her Husky heritage, she has rarely barked while in foster care, although she does occasionally whine. She is making great strides with her potty training after only two weeks in a home and is an excellent car rider. She is also doing pretty well on a leash for it being her first experience with one. She zig-zags quite a bit, but ultimately keeps moving forward!
Like all puppies, Nataliya will need to continue learning boundaries. For an active breed mix like her, daily exercise beyond playing in the backyard will be important, such as long walks, runs, hiking, or trips to the dog park. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for her.
Nataliya is a very sweet and affectionate puppy with lots of love to give—not to mention she’s gorgeous! After starting her short life confined in a puppy mill, she is ready to experience the “good life” as a cherished family pet. If you have the right home to give Nataliya the love, exercise, and commitment she deserves, she would be a wonderful addition to your family.
Nataliya is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $275.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
