Story
Hi, I’m Sasha, a very sweet senior (7-8 years old) I’m a Husky with the sweetest soul and a wonderfully calm personality. I love meeting new people—honestly, I love everyone—and I make friends wherever I go. I’m gentle, easygoing, and happy just being by your side. I also happen to take great pictures (camera-ready at all times ), so if you’re looking for a best friend who’s as photogenic as she is loving, I might be your girl. I’m ready to give all my love to a forever family—could that be you? Story
Hi, I’m Winter &#226&#157&#132&#239&#184&#143 I’m 1 year old, weigh 55 lbs, and I might just be the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet. I’m very friendly and love people—I have such a gentle, loving heart. I’m amazing on a leash and walk calmly right by your side, making every walk easy and enjoyable. I did have a home once, but sadly my owner never came back for me. Even so, I still believe in love and am ready to give my whole heart to a new family. I’m spayed and up to date on all my shots, so I’m all set to start my next chapter with you. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, easygoing companion, I’d love to meet you and show you just how special I am. &#226&#157&#132&#239&#184&#143   For more information or to adopt, foster, or foster-to-adopt this pet, please contact Rowlett Animal Services  972-412-6219 or   AnimalServices@Rowlett.com.January 9, 2026, 10:31 am

Story
Coquette is 2 years old, she was born on January 16, 2024. She is a really, crazy, playful and lovable female. She gets excited over the smallest things. It's going to take a lot of patience with her as she is loud but also calm once she eats. Coquette has never been around other dogs, only with both her parents and her other 2 siblings. Her dad is a Siberian Husky and the mom she is a Siberian Husky/Great Pyrenees. Both parents are really lovable and great with children. I am looking for a forever home for her, where the owners can have the right patience with her as she is a crazy girl but she wants to be loved as well.

Story
I have a male Siberian Husky and a female Siberian Husky/Great Pyrenees. She had a total of 5 puppies and we kept 3 of them. Bruna is a lovely dog, she is so lovable and really playful. She is 2 years old, they were born on January 16, 2024. I am looking for a lovable home where she feels the love and appreciation. Both breeds are amazing and playful. I never got them involved with other pets, she has always been around the parents and her other two siblings. But she is not a troubled dog, I never had a problem with her or the other siblings.

Story
To say that Hanna adores human attention would be an understatement. This fluffy pup immediately mellows out whenever she receives affection from anyone – be it strangers, children, or the elderly. But don't be fooled by her antics. The moment it's time to return to her kennel, she unleashes the husky's trademark howl, serenading the shelter with her rendition of the "shelter dog blues." Her vocal prowess echoes throughout the center, leaving no doubt about her desire for companionship. In 2020, Hanna found her home through OHAR, where she lived alongside another dog and children. However, due to unforeseen hardships, her family faced tough decisions and returned her to OHAR. This turn of events has left Hanna heartbroken, yet she remains resilient, determined to find her fairy tale ending once again. Could you be the one to offer Hanna the love and stability she so deserves?Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule. We will bring the pet to you and help with introductions to your current pet(s). You will then have a week with the pet to ensure they are the right fit for your home. Story
This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write 💔 Rosie is food aggressive, and despite working with trainers, feeding separately, and picking up bowls immediately after meals, new triggers continue to pop up. Recently, she went after one of my cats for sniffing around where she eats in the mornings. It scared me, and I know one day I may not be home or fast enough to intervene. She is otherwise the sweetest girl—so loving, happy, and full of life. When food isn’t involved, she’s wrestling with my Australian shepherd or napping with the cats. She’s 7 years old, gets the biggest zoomies, and brings so much joy. She’s loves to play “where’s Rosie” on the bed and will let you know when she wants belly slappies. Her favorite pastime is rolling in nice green grass. This decision breaks my heart because other than the food aggression, she’s literally the perfect girl. She’s house broken, loves walks or being lazy, and she has such a silly personality.

Story
DOB - Feb. 10, 2020 Reason for rehoming: My son (owner) moved to Africa. I cannot keep him due to my lease. If he cannot be rehomed, he will have to go to a shelter. The local Akita rescue is not accepting any new dogs. Alpha is a sweet and devoted American Akita looking for a forever home where he can thrive. He is incredibly loyal, affectionate, and naturally protective of his family—once he bonds with you, he is your shadow and your biggest fan. Alpha does have environmental allergies, so he’ll need an adopter who can continue his care and keep him comfortable. He cannot be boarded, so he needs a family who can provide in-home care or trusted at-home pet sitting when traveling. He loves being near his people, enjoys calm environments, and does best with someone who understands large guardian breeds. Alpha will make an amazing companion for the right person or family—someone who values loyalty, connection, and a dog who truly loves his humans.
