Say hello to Amber! Amber is a female 1 year old mastiff mix that weighs 73 pounds.  Amber was found as a stray in Parma and no one claimed her.  This big girl is timid and sensitive.  She is very quiet and respectful.  She waits patiently for her walks with the volunteers.  She is very strong on leash and pulls. She will need a strong handler who will help teach her how to walk politely on leash.  She loves to be showered with pets and told that she is the prettiest girl around.  Amber enjoys time outside and sitting by your side. Meet Biggie Smalls!Do not let this big man's photos fool you! He is one hunk of a dog!This gentle giant is a 5 year old, 65#, Mastiff/Pit Bull mix! He loves people and is a baby for a good belly rub. Biggie has not been with us for very long, but he has already opened up to us a lot! He loves spending time on the couch and eating treats (obviously). This big man would love a forever home for the summer and will also keep you nice and warm during the winter months!

Story

Leonidas is a good, and large, puppy. He is at 17 months of age, and in the best of health. His temperament is in line with his breed, though he is timid around men. If you get on his level, he gradually warms up. With a little steak, it's much faster. With the exception of chowing down or drinking some water, his drool is non-existent. He sleeps soundly, with a little snoring, and is kennel trained, though he usually sleeps at the foot of the bed. He is a very good guardian of your home and does not wander far. We have an open yard and about 3/4 of an acre and has never went past the perimeter. With some training, he would be the perfect large dog. Does not get on the bed and respects the rules of the house. On occasion, he will grab some food on the floor after our special needs son drops it, but usually restrains himself until given the okay to grab it. He does like the couch though. He gets along with his dog brothers, an English Bulldog and French Bulldog. He is very smart.

Hi everyone! Our names are Maggie and Marcy  we're new pups with Rescued Ohio! At 6-8 weeks old, we're learning how to play, take naps, and go potty outside.We love playing in our fenced yard with our foster family's dog. Our foster parents have to keep a close eye on us though because we love exploring anywhere (and anything) we can get to! We sleep in a kennel together overnight and during the day when we're alone. Since we still aren't potty trained, a house with hard wood area or a gated area would be best.Right now we're about 12 pounds each, but that's sure to change because we absolutely love to eat! We love kibble and treats, and we're quickly learning that peanut butter is amaaaazing. Bath time is a little easier when you have peanut butter to snack on! Our foster parents guess that we'll be large-extra large dogs because our momma was a mastiff. And we've got the paws to prove it! We do great with kids and other dogs, but we haven't gotten the chance to play with our foster home's kitty. We're bundles of energy and need a family who is dedicated to training a puppy. We can sleep for 4-6 hours overnight but shouldn't be left alone during the daytime for more than 4 hours. We also love chewing - so be prepared to hide those shoelaces!After a long day of playing and puppy naps, we love to snuggle with our foster parents  they tell us puppy kisses are the best, and we love to give them! Ollie was adopted from the Dog Pound in 10/2022. He has lived with us ever since. He is up to date on all vaccinations. He loves to cuddle and spend time with his humans. He would do best in a home with no other dogs. He does well with our cats. Ollie is Crate and Potty Trained. He knows sit, lay down and stay commands.
