While he can be a little cautious at first, once he warms up, this Velcro pug loves nothing more than cuddling up next to his favorite person and showering them with kisses. Tic Tac enjoys toys, puzzle games, and snuffle mats—and occasionally shows off his silly side by proudly parading around with socks or shoes he’s “borrowed.” He is about 90% house-trained, crate-trained (though he’s not a fan of it), and walks well on a leash—just be sure his harness is snug because he’s been known to wiggle out when something’s caught his interest! Tic Tac gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, but he’d prefer a home with a canine buddy and patient humans who understand he sees the world a little differently due to limited vision. Six-year-old Abogado is an incredibly sweet boy with a midnight black coat and big heart made for snuggles. This affectionate gentleman loves being close to his people and will even wrap his little arms around you when you pick him up. He enjoys belly rubs, adorable “army crawls” across the carpet, and the occasional playful prance when a burst of energy hits. Though a bit timid at first, he warms up quickly and becomes a devoted companion. Abogado is making great progress with house training, has good mealtime manners, and enjoys hard chew toys and plushies. He walks at a calm, easy pace on leash and sleeps happily in bed with his person. He’s polite and friendly with other dogs, though he’s just as content focusing on his humans. He receives eye drops twice daily for dry eyes, and while his vision can be a little cloudy, he gets around well—he may just need a watchful eye around pools or stairs. His back legs can be slightly wobbly when he first stands, but he quickly finds his stride. Abogado would thrive in a loving home where he can stay close to his people.
