We started caring for Leo when our relative owner passed. He has 4 foster siblings that we are also caring for. The others that you will find on this site are Princess, Coco and Marco. We want to rehome them in pairs. Leo is yorkshire, honey and gold fur, likes to chill but does have energy, toy size (about 4 lbs.), indoor dog and about 8 years old. He has been neutered and his rabies vaccine is current. He gets along well with his foster siblings. He may be best adopted with Marco who you will find in another profile. They often sleep in the same bed. Leo loves attention. He does not like to walk and is content to stay at home, inside. Leo pees and poos on a pad indoors or in the back yard. Leo always barks at cats. Leo needs dental work that adopter will need to pay for. Prospective adopter agrees to keep him in the house, except for supervised outings, and agrees to send photos of Leo. Return him to us if unable to care for him.

Lil Miss was found and we kept her with the intention of finding her a good home. Unfortunately we don’t have the long term ability to keep her. Missy is under 2 years old but her approximate age is unknown. She is amazing with our child who is disabled. She is so sweet, loving and very playful. She has some energy that with the right family will make a fun addition. She is potty and crate trained. She loves walks and is good on a leash. As far as we know she is good with other dogs and loves to play. We just want her to find a loving home.

Sweet little Gucci landed in the shelter sick, overgrown and suffering from extensive dental issues. After his neuter and dental, he was ready to recover and start enjoying life again! Like many older little dogs, Gucci has some medical issues. Don't we all as we age? None of them seems to keep him from asking for his daily walks and playing with his foster pup siblings! Gucci will do best in a home with another small senior dog or two who can show him the ropes and help him settle into his new life. Asked what he does not like, Gucci had just one request - Please don't make me ride in the car more than absolutely necessary! Definitely not his favorite activity - he would much prefer to walk than ride. Very environmental of him! Daily walks, playtime, backyard exploring, and lots of lap time are just what this sweet little senior needs for his golden years. Milo is a sweet spunky guy ready to bring love to his forever home. We don't have any information about his history but we are determined to give him a bright future. Milo lost all his teeth due to the poor condition they were in. It is unlikely he received any prior dental care. It is difficult to determine the age of a dog without their teeth. We think he may be around 7 years old?? But he is playful, active, ball chasing, enjoys 2-3 mile walks and full of life. He acts more like a 4-5 year old boy. Milo is housebroken, but requires potty breaks every 4 hours or so. He is good on leash and good with dogs of all sizes. He is kids friendly but best with gentle kids 10 years or older. This is our sweet Jessy. She has been with us for a while because she is old and almost blind. Even though she is adorable, we know she doesn't have the best figure or eyesight. But to us, at the rescue, she has the BEST personality. She is always in the middle of everything, enjoying herself and asking for attention and love. Basically, hope in the form of a dog!!!! She knows her way around the entire rescue facility...stairs and all! We all want her to have a home...foster or adoption. We believe she will get to know your home because her spirit will force her too!!!! But probably best to not have too many stairs.
