Bella was rescued off the streets of Texas, not much is known about her past prior to her rescue. After being fostered down in Texas while she healed she came up to RED September 25, 2020 as a medical rescue She is currently in foster care in Poulsbo where she is working on her basic obedience, leash skills and crate training. In playgroup Bella has been around multiple dogs, she can be pushy so would need a dog friend who is tolerant of that. Bellawould do best in an adult only home or home with older children (13+) that can focus on her training and provide her structure. She required a fully fenced yard with a visible fence. This dog requires a fenced yard. We seek fully fenced yards with a physical, visible fence. Typically, the fence must be connected to the house/ a door in the home, and the dog safe fenced area must exclude driveway and car access. Shock/electronic fences will not be approved for most dogs. A sturdy, high quality crate is also required (due to safety concerns, no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). I was rescued from a California shelter awhile back, where I was impounded as a stray, and now am waiting for someone to choose me! I'm a sweetheart and oh-so-gentle. I'm the kind of dogs who loves a good snuggle on a cozy couch. My mellow nature makes me a perfect companion for those quiet moments. I'm loyal too, always sticking by my friends. Speaking of friends, I get along well with my canine neighbors at my current location. I'm also quite the poser for pictures, and am quite handsome and attentive. He's been good with kids and non-destructive, making him a wonderful addition to families with older children (due to his size). He gets along well with some dogs, but is a big boy so needs a strong and experienced owner. Born in a shelter and later dumped by his people, Bruce knows the value of a loving home. His sweet nature and gentle disposition make him a perfect companion. He weighs about 80 lbs.

BLUE, a 2-year-old blue brindle and white Pit Bull Terrier, came to our rescue in an unusual way. The co-founder of our rescue had a random dream about Blue, an unknown dog at the time. The next day, the co-founder stumbled upon Blue, one of many urgent dogs at an over-crowded shelter, when searching for the dog in her dream. There Blue was, his sweet face begging for someone to help him. So now, Blue is safe! He is a sweet 60-pound boy who was kenneled with another dog at the shelter. He loves other dogs, and is loyal, smart, curious and loving. Need a hug? Ask Blue! He loves to give and receive hugs and get lots of human attention and affection. He is still a young boy so will need plenty of exercise and stimulation but overall, he's a couch potato in disguise and a dog to share your hopes and dreams. He was recently rescued from a Los Angeles shelter where he was a resident for over a year! We thought it was time he get a change of scene. :) Now, Peppermint is ready to rock and roll and explore the world! He is an affectionate, loyal and happy dog with a lot of love to give! He is a friendly, gentle, smart, curious, funny, athletic boy. Like most pitties, he is strong and will do well with a strong owner who loves to walk, hike and go on other outings.
