Story
Bandit is 3 years old. He is a loving and caring dog. He has a lot of energy, loves to chase balls and frisbee's. We recently got a puppy and Bandit is friendly and patient with him. Bandit is smart. He learns quickly and likes puzzles. He has completed a level 1 training class. Additional training is recommended. Bandit currently lives with his 3 and 7 year old human sisters. They love and adore him and are going to miss him. He enjoys chasing them around and relaxing on the couch with them. Bandit is a versatile dog and will make a great addition to most homes. Unfortunately, we have made the decision to rehome Bandit after a biting incident with one of the neighborhood kids. Bandit is usually excited when meeting new people and he is usually good with both adults and kids. While he has met and played with dozens of kids over the years, we have had 2 biting incidents with this one kid about each about a year apart. We don't know why but decided it would be best to separate them.

Story
Skooter has been part of our family for over 6 years. My brother and sister-in-law adopted him at about a year and a half old, as a playmate for his 'sister' Ginger and my nephew Alec. Skooter iand Ginger are very bonded and hope to remain together. My sister-in-law and brother have both passed away, about 18 months apart. I moved into their house with my nephew, Alec, and both dogs in October of 2021. Our circumstances are now changing, and we cannot keep the dogs. Skooter is very loving, playful, protective, assertive, and friendly. He loves everyone, especially if they give him a treat. He may do well with other dogs by himself. Skooter is fearful of loud noises- thunder, fireworks, gun shots. He barks and whines at dogs or people walking by, and doesn't like animals in his yard. He may have separation anxiety - gets very excited whenever we come home. Skooter loves to be brushed, does not like baths, and does okay with the vet. He has been to groomers.in the past.

Story
Cybil is such a silly girl! She is a high energy, tiny 38lb, 18 mo old girl that would do best with someone that will run with her. Lots of long distance walking and hiking would also be ideal. She does still need more leash training but she’s very intelligent and learns quickly whatever it is you ask of her. She is extremely food motivated so she’s always excited to play training games. She is very affectionate so needs someone to cuddle with, too. Cybil can be a bit bossy when she meets other dogs so she should be the only animal in the home. Although she does like to run and play with neutral tempered, medium size dogs, so after a proper introduction, she could develop friendships with other familiar dogs. No kitties please. Cybil can be a little reluctant to engage with high energy children so kids must be over 14yrs old. She must have a 5ft or higher, securely fenced yard. She is crate and house trained, as long as she has frequent outside potty breaks. A doggy door would be perfect. A work from home or active retired person would be best for this darling girl!

Story
My wife and I added Fable to our family in Summer 2015. She was our first daughter. She was born 07 April, 2015. She is eight (8) years old now and in excellent health. She is fun, energetic, family focused, and extremely kind to our young girls. We are looking for an owner that will love her as much as we have. It would be an amazing gift to find her a new home that will take her outdoors and on adventures. We have slowed down a lot since we had our second daughter (1 year old). She would love a large area to play; whether that’s in a large back yard, on farmland, or on local outdoor hiking trails. My new work is taking me overseas and will make their lives unbearably constrained. We really want her and her brother, Legend, to go to a home that will give her love, adventure, freedom, and as many well deserved belly rubs as possible.

Story
My wife and I adopted Legend in 2015. He has always been our big snuggle bear. He adores all humans and isn’t afraid to show it. He is kind, caring, and attentive. He is 8 years old and his birthday is 22 August, 2015. We are looking for a family with space, time, and an outdoor sense of adventure for him. It’s what he had with us when we were younger and less overwhelmed. It’s what he deserves. He will make any runner, hiker, farmer, outdoorsman, or other adventurer incredibly happy. He is happiest playing in big spaces. And he will never run out of energy or enthusiasm. We love him so much. My work in the Army is taking us overseas. Our lovely dogs will not have large enough spaces or freedom as we travel. We really want Legend to have a adventurous, outdoor second half of his life filled with love, play, and as many belly rubs as humanly possible. We don’t want any money, just an owner or family of owners that will give him love and affection.

Talk about right place at the right time with our foster mum & for beautiful Flower, her sister Bambi & her mum Mia. Our foster mum was at one of the very high kill shelters in CA for us rescuing a sweet soul when a family come along who were going to dump all 3. The usual disgusting story of, we are moving so we can’t take our beloved dogs with us story. Flower, Bambi & Mia were being dropped off at the shelter as they were moving & didn’t want them anymore. Thankfully our foster mum said we would help them & we did. Mia the mum had given birth to Flower & Bambi & at the tiny age of 8 weeks they were going to be dumped. Talk about cruel & heartless. Not to mention Mia of course was frightened & didn’t know what was going on? But those days are over for these beautiful babies. Without our outstanding foster mum this would not of happened & who knows what would of happened to this little angel, her sister & mum. Flower who is now looking for her very own forever home & who will never give up on her again & dump her & love her just as her foster mum & we do. After we got Flower all her care with her amazing foster mum she will be bought back to WA state from CA where she can’t wait to find her loving forever home. Flower a little lady, how could anyone dump her & let her down is shocking. Her foster mum said she is so very sweet & full of sweet puppy love of energy. She is your typical puppy of eat, poop, play sleep. Flower just wants to be loved. Disturbing to think of what almost happened to her. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA. Flower is such a good girl her foster mum said, she is super sweet, she is so quite & lives to be near you. You look at her & she looks straight into your soul. Flower is a good eater, she loves to eat & put on a few pounds since being rescued. Flower loves sleeping with her foster mum & wants to sleep with her & does not like to sleep alone. So we are only looking for a home where she can sleep with her family. Flower’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for her safety. Flower has been great with her baths because she started having them with us the moment she was rescued so she is used to them. Flower rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & she rides in a car seat & is used to riding in one. She still needs continued work walking on her harness & leash. We are looking for a forever home for Flower where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Flower loves other dogs & their company. She must go to a forever home with another dog present in the home who is young & playful just as Flower is. We are also looking for a crate free home for the little lady only. Flower is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love him as she should be loved & be patient with her & work on her potty training with her & teach her, her puppy manners. Flower has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & was fostered in CA with other dogs & does well with them & enjoys their company. She must go to a home with other playful loving dogs in her forever home. Flower is roughly 1.6 years old & 28 lbs & is perhaps a spaniel terrier/Australian mini shepherd mix, but what she is mixed with we are not sure at all. She is female, being spayed by laser. Flower is, microchipped, given flea treatment, up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Flower, with all of her medical care than her adoption fee comes close to even covering, her spay by laser, all of her puppy shots & shots, microchip transport feed bringing her back to WA state, etc. Flower has been around cats since being in the rescue in her foster home & could care less about the cat in her foster home but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Flower was conceived so we do not know who both her parents were but we do know who her mum is & she is in a picture with flower & we have her in the rescue also. But it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Flower’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Flower potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Flower has been through many traumas in her short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for her care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Flower & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Flower who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this spirited little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Flower has an adoption fee of $850 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.
