Saw howdy to Dolly! This spunky little lady is looking for a home to call her own! Dolly is a very feisty girl who loves to play all day! She is also a very avid snuggler! Dolly does have quite a bit of confidence, but she still hasn't gotten to experience much of the world, so it can be a little scary sometimes. It important that introductions to new people, places, and animals is done slowly and allows her to have a positive experience. Having fun times with new things can help her grow into a well-rounded adult! Come meet Dolly today!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Are you looking for a new friend to help you get your 10,000 steps a day? My name is June and I would love to be your new walking buddy. Although I am 9, I have a lot of energy left. My foster mom says I am the best dog to walk with because I like to walk and sniff at the same time! I was found as a stray in Ohio and I’m learning how to adjust to a luxurious life of being a stay at home dog. Because of this I love to be outside with my foster mom whenever I can! I am doing very well with my house and crate training with my foster mom. Like a typical beagle, I learn quickly when there is food involved. I am very calm and friendly with other dogs and kids I meet on my walks, and like to give them a sniff and walk next to them. My foster mom isn’t sure how I would do with cats, but I would love to meet any of your furry friends if you’ll let me.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. September 30, 2023, 4:57 pm

We are not sure about cats but I'm a hound dog. I need an experienced adopter  who will be willing to work with me. I also need a secure space because when I catch a scent I like to run. Oh ya also I do have that great beagle bark.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption.
