Buddy was adopted from a shelter in September 2023. He turned one year old on July 4, 2023. Buddy is an energetic doggy who needs lots of time with his humans running and playing fetch. He loves playing with his ball and super chewer toys. He has a habit of sometimes playing a little bit aggressively so he is best suited for child free homes or families with older children. Buddy loves to go for walks (he does pull on his leash a little bit because he is so excited to be on his walks), he loves car rides, loves to cuddle and sleep under the covers and adorably snore away. He is sweet and loving and cute but unfortunately he bullies our cats to the point they cannot even eat unless Buddy is outside or in his crate. We are saddened to have to give him up but he needs somehwere with a fenced in yard where he can run and be free and his cute energetic self. We are deeply saddened to give him up and this was not a decision we made lightly.

We received a call for help, this person had more then 20 animals on his property, adults and puppies he needed food and to get the girls fixed. A local spay/neuter clinic helped with spay/neuter, rabies and heartworm testing. All the adults were taken back to the owner and he is given dog food to help with feeding them. We were able to take in some of the young pups, had them heartworm tested (which was negative) spay/neutered all vaccines and microchipped. We took the puppies hoping they would be heartworm negative and they are. Since having them here we have had to work with them to learn to trust us, at first they will be a little nervous but give them time and they will fill your heart. They are crate trained, but not house broken. Please email BakerBridgeRescue@aol.com and ask for an application, we would love to talk with you in detail. Once approved, we will call you. We transport every other week to a location near you with the most animal friendly transport - Rescue Riders Transport.

This must be in a .jpeg format. If you are unable to send in this format, please be prepared to provide this documentation in another way prior to adoption.Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other dogs/cats. It could take up to a couple of weeks for you to receive a final disposition on your application so there is no need to check on the status.-Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. Hi! My name is Snoopy! I came into the shelter as a stray a year ago. I was a little nervous when I first came in, but I quickly learned that people are awesome! Especially when they give me treats! A nice family adopted me but sadly my owner got sick and couldn't take care of me. So I'm back at FMAR and looking for a new home! True to my breed, I enjoy singing a tune from time to time. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue.
