Story
Hello, my name is Polly! I am a young Beagle looking for my forever home! I am bonded with my pal, Perdita. You see, without her around, I'm a bit nervous and looking for her, so it's best us girls stick together! We are looking for an active household that will do fun things with us, and give us lots of love. We are hoping for a home where we are the only pets to get lots of love, and a fun fenced yard to run around and explore in. I also LOVE being outdoors, so a yard for me to sunbathe in will be important. I have been known to be a bit shy with new people, more so men, so this is something I may need work on. Don't worry though, I don't really have a mean bone in my body and would rather avoid scary people, though some yummy treats do help! My sis and I however LOVE children, so a home with kiddos would be fine with us! We are young, fun, happy go lucky girls, and know we will make someone very very happy! We have been looking for our forever home for a while now, and the nice people here have waived our adoption fee to find us the perfect home!

Story
Hi, I'm Perdita, a gentle soul with a curious nose. As you can see, I am pretty tight with my bestie Polly. So tight in fact that we need to get adopted together. When we are apart we get really upset and cry and scream for each other. Its really pathetic actually but we cant help it. We are besties.Since I'm a beagle, my sense of smell is my superpower. I love exploring new scents and going on sniffing adventures. I'm sweet and friendly, always ready to greet you with a wagging tail. Though I might seem indifferent at times, it's just my laid-back nature. I promise I'm just as excited to see you. My gentle demeanor makes me a great companion for anyone. It's best I go to a home with no other animals, and a fenced yard as me and my sis love the space to sniff! If you're looking for a loyal friend who will always be there for you, then I'm your girl. Adopt me and let's start our adventure together! We have been looking for our forever home for a while now, and the nice people here have waived our adoption fee to find us the perfect home!

Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Puglsey is a cute, active lovable guy who is looking for his forever home. He loves to cuddle, get belly rubs and sit in your lap. He is good on leash, crate trained, house trained, fixed and up to date on shots.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Mocha is just over a year old and always ready for an adventure! She is looking for someone that is active and will work on basic training. She enjoys other dogs after proper introductions. No young children as she is quite rambunctious and can be overwhelming to them.  She is doing well on house training, but regression is common. She would do best with somebody who doesn’t have to leave her home alone all day. Not sure how she is with cats.    Click here to watch a video of Mocha - Ou Litter.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Hello! I’m Tanbo (now named Snoop). I was adopted from Last Day Dog Rescue as a pup and now see myself back here due to family issues. I’m a very inquisitive pup and like to find my way into many things, but I’m learning that I’m not allowed to do so.  Anything to do with treats and I’ll be right there with you, but if you have your own food, I may sniff it. I really like to play with toys. As long as the toys are not stuffed, we won’t have a mess. I shred them within minutes, so harder chews would be best. I like to go for walks, I’m leash trained with slight pulling but I’m learning how not to do that. While we are out on our walks, I like to sniff everything I can because it’s all so interesting to me. After our long walks I like to curl up on the couch next to my humans and sleep. I enjoy being under the covers with them as well! When meeting new people, I do bark. Once I get to know them, I’m fine. I do get along with other dogs, I just bark a lot. However, I also resource guard my toys, so being an only dog may be best for me. I do chase cats, so I might not be the best with them. My current humans think I may have some separation anxiety, so for now I will have to be in a crate until I calm down and learn they will come back. I was just recently diagnosed with Cushing’s disease so I will be medicated for the rest of my life, but that doesn’t make me any different to love. Story
Ace was a stray Dog. We found him on the west side of Detroit in the middle of the street and under a house. Our family decided to take him and get Ace back to health. Our family immediately took him to the vet to get him checked out and gave him the shots that he was needed. Over the years, I family kept up with his shots. Furthermore, he is now house trained, and knows his basic training, sit, down, stay and more!! We are looking to rehome him to a perfect home sense we did our duties by bringing him back to health and ready for another home to be happy with him.
