Currently this sweet tri-pod baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee. Story

Rollie was surrendered after his owner died. He had never lived inside until he came into rescue. He is now house and crate trained. He does love to run and play and hide his bones outside. He had very little socialization with other dogs and is a little dog selective (prefers females more than males). He's more of a loner than most. He has always been crated inside to avoid the mischief a beagle tends to get into with chewing items he isn't supposed to be chewing. It is more for his safety of not swallowing anything harmful. He will bark to let you know when he needs to go potty. He has been completely vetted. He deserves a home of his own to retire in and enjoy the rest of his life. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Scrappy is a wonderful hound mix (we think beagle) who our family rescued in June 2026. She is spunky, intelligent, loving to her family, and shy with strangers. She has a beautiful coat that is very easy to maintain. Gets along well with children and other dogs. Food motivated. Fully vaccinated. House training in progress.LifestyleGiven that I work from home, she is crated only for several hours unless she sleeps in her crate for bedtime which happens occasionally. Story

Hanneman is a rescue dog approximately 10years old. Very well trained dog doesn't bark at almost anything listens very well and loves to follow and be around someone all the time. He has been a fantastic dog for the almost 7 years we have had him very loving and relaxed. Over the past year he has been getting grumbly with the other animals and we have very small children that he is very good around but he does get grumbly and stressed when laying down, he has not attacked anyone or anything in anyway he just gets stressed out around them. Looking to rehome to an older person or couple with no other pets around so he can just be happy with his humans around. Its the only reason we are doing this so his remaining years are happy and stress free.
