Hi My name is Dilly Bar. From my foster: Dilly is blind, but that certainly doesn’t stop her! She’s a peaceful, happy girl who is great with both cats and dogs. When she’s up exploring, her little tail is almost always wagging. Dilly believes mornings should be taken slowly, sleeping in followed by belly rubs before getting out of bed is her preferred routine. She loves new toys, leisurely walks, cozy naps, and being close to her person. Dilly does have separation anxiety and bonds deeply with her comfort person, so she’d thrive with someone who works from home. She’s not a fan of car rides, but she’s always up for a walk! Dilly currently isn’t on medication regularly however she has taken trazodone to help calm anxiety in the past. After starting as a hospice foster, this sweet girl is ready for something we weren’t sure she’d get: her forever home. ❤️ From the vet: Dilly Bar arrived to rescue with a few masses, both in her mouth and along her mammary chain. The masses have been removed and at this time Dilly Bar has no signs of metastasis or spread of these masses. Dilly Bar has mature cataracts in both eyes. Additional eye diagnostics have been completed to ensure Dilly's eye pressures are normal and her eyes are not causing her any discomfort. As a result of Dilly Bar's cataracts, she is vision impaired.

Hi, my name is Gollum. I am from Minnesota. Gollum is an adorable, lovable pup, absolute sweetheart. He is very energetic, fun loving and affectionate. always so excited to meet people and furry new friends. His favorite things are being by his people running in the yard by himself or playing with kids . Squeaky toys are a must along with balls to play fetch with. He is learning to sit and working on No Bite, keeping toys around him helps Potty training still in progress but doing very well, minimal accidents. Make sure you let him outside frequently. He sleeps all night and is a great napper. Crate training still in progress. He does not like it and lets you know it.. Fantastic with kids. He truly just loves everyone. Remember he is still puppy so toys around to distract biting and jumping. Gollum is going to make someone very lucky. He's ready for his forever home.

Hi, my name is Barry and I am from Alabama! Barry’s life started with a really unfair set of cards. He came from a hoarding situation where he never got the chance to learn what safety, love, or being a dog was supposed to feel like. But he’s been learning… Watching him discover the world has been incredibly special. He can now walk on a leash. He greets people. He absolutely loves other dogs. He also goes into his crate, even though it can make him nervous. These may seem like little things, but for him, they are enormous victories. He needs a very special home. A home that understands trust takes time. Someone who will sit beside him when he’s scared, celebrate every tiny breakthrough, and never give up on him. Because underneath the fear is a dog who is finally learning that he is safe. I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family. From the Vet: Barry has been staged for HW Disease and he shows mild lung changes that present as a persistent cough/throat irritation. He should be kept on a strict low activity protocol until after his heartworm treatment. When he came to us, he was noted to have a significant leg deformity, however at his evaluation exam, it was determined that while deformed, he uses the leg very regularly and happily. He doesn't seem to be in an major pain associated with this at the moment, so monitoring and keeping him at a lean weight as to not cause any excessive strain in his joints, and possibly adding a joint supplement will be important for his comfort as he ages. His skin isn't in the best health, but with good nutrition, flea prevention monthly and regular bathing, we hope this will improve. We are treating for an ear infection, but hopefully we can say that has cleared by the time this boy gets adopted! If adopted before his ear recheck, TBB will include 1 ear recheck + 1 round of medications or allergy injection as determined necessary by the BB Rescue Medical Team. He's a special guy needing some time and TLC, but he is so sweet and would be a perfect companion in any home willing to give him those things!

Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well.
