She made a long journey from Arkansas while very pregnant so we could be born into a loving and caring family. Just 48 hours later, we began making our big debut into the world. I live with my siblings in our warm and cozy “puppy room.” During the day, we get to run and play in the family room—and sometimes we’re even lucky enough to nap on the couch. My favorite things include eating, sleeping, and playing with my siblings. I especially love tug and tag—they’re the best! I’m also litter box trained, which makes life a little easier for our foster mom (after all, there are ten of us!). Hi, my name is Starla and I am from Arkansas! Starla is a total sweetheart! She loves to cuddle on the sofa just as much as she loves to chase balls and wrestle with our other dog. She is still learning a lot and she approaches new experiences with a cautious confidence. Starla does great with our dog and cat and has been very gentle when meeting new people. Overall, Starla is a STAR! She deserves a family who will love her as much as she will love them back. From the foster: Starla is still learning to be independent and cries if you leave the room. This may get better with time, but she may do well with someone who is home often or even works from home. She also is still working on her leash skills and I recommend a harness. If she sees a squirrel she will chase.

Hi, my name is DeeDee. I am from Alabama. DeeDee is blossoming more each day now that she’s had time to settle in. She is shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality shines through. It does take time, so she is looking for someone who is patient and able to help her decompress gradually. This lovely girl is potty trained, though she is displaying some marking behaviors when she smells other dogs. We are hopeful her upcoming spay will end that. She is comfortable with just a few (1-2) steps down from the house—she’s still building confidence with full flights of stairs, and her future family can help her continue that journey at her own pace. Quiet, gentle, and incredibly easy to have around, DeeDee is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart.
