I am pretty calm for my age but I am a puppy - so I do like to play. I am fostered with kids, cats, and dogs. I am as sweet as they come and a great size! I love to cuddle and I love kids. I ignore the cats in my foster home. I am fine with dogs, even tiny ones! I am a pretty easy pup to have around. I am good in a crate and go potty outside. Prior to adoption I will be altered, vaccinated, health checked, dewormed, and micro-chipped. Daisy Mae is a very energetic girl. She loves playing with other dogs and kids and loves running like crazy. She is adorably cute and she also loves sleeping in the bed at night and cuddling. She also loves balls and hard toys. Soft toys she destroys immediately. She is trained to go outside potty, but can also use a doggie door. She is spayed and microchipped and up to date on everything. Daisy would be best suited for either an older couple or a family with kids a little older and if there was another dog for her to play with. She needs a lot of attention or she gets bored and looks for trouble when left alone. We have tried to meet her needs, but we are not home all the time and she has become destructive to the room we put her in when we leave the house. We currently work out of town 2 days a week and I don't want to have to confine her to a crate during that time, but I am going to have to. She would also benefit from a fenced in yard, which we don't have.

I am Manny. I am from Arkansas. From the foster: Manny is SUCH a sweet, friendly, loving boy. He just wants to play, chew, and be next to people. He's a big snuggler and a big couch guy :) He has loved every person and dog he has met so far- and he isn't shy to meet them! Manny is wonderful at walking on a leash- he doesn't pull at all, he doesn't sniff incessantly, and isn't reactive to little critters. He loves to be outside and go for walks, so an active family will be a good match for this guy. Manny is about 9 months old so he certainly has some puppy tendencies (picking up and/or chewing on things he shouldn't, easily distracted, etc.) but he redirects easily, plays well independently with toys/bones/balls, and is really quite mellow for his age. He has a chill temperament overall and he's so easy to get along with. He's crate trained, barely makes a peep in the kennel, and sleeps through the night no problem! This is Manny's first home living experience so he hasn't really learned manners, tricks, etc. yet but I'm confident he'll do great learning as he continues to settle into this new, exciting life with a family! Given the newness to being in a house, Manny is still working on potty training, but he's an older puppy so he doesn't have to go all the time :) Manny has so much love to give and his forever family will be so lucky to have him!

I am Mattie Mae. I am from Arkansas. From the Foster: She has really come out of her shell these past few days. She's found her bark-mainly when she wants to get out of her crate and sometimes when she's playing with Lucy. She has the tiniest little woof when she's watching people outside. While she is doing just fine on a tie out, she would really thrive in a home with a fenced in yard because she loves to be outside (although left to her own devices, she may be a little mischievous.) Her potty training is on its way, she's doing good on 'sit' (stay and down are a work in progress.) She has figured out she does like treats. She's eating a full cup, twice a day. She will watch tv occasionally (not even if it's animals-she watched football for a bit) and she likes to watch my husband's phone as well when he's playing a game or watching something. She is a persistent chewer, so kong-type toys are the only survivors (sorry Lucy,) but Mattie does love squishy and plushy dog toys-even if they only last 10 minutes, lol.

I am Messi. I am from Arkansas. From the foster: Messi is very sweet and very smart! It's been a pleasure to work with her this past week. She's learned not to be afraid of cars, to walk on a leash in the city, to chase a ball, to ride in the car and stay in her seat, to go to the dog park (and to leave willingly), and so much more. She came to me extremely sheltered, but her curiosity and smarts have really led her start enjoying the world. She's still a puppy and has yet to learn how to potty outside. She's crate and pad trained, and working on going outside - we've had a few triumphs at the dog park! She's very quiet, a little submissive and unsure about a lot of things - but loving and playful. She LOVES people and other dogs, and would do best with another dog friend, and a fenced yard to show to her how it's done. She's a pleasure to be around! Messi needs firm, consistent direction and communication - she responds really quickly to this. Once she gets the basics down, she could really excel in the tricks department. When she knows what to do, she really listens, and responds quickly. She also LOVES other dogs, she's very playful, and loves to run at the High Bridge dog park, in Saint Paul. Having another dog and a fenced yard will go a long way in getting her away from the potty pads.
