Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. Meet Raya, a sweet 5-year-old Beagle with a gentle heart, a loyal nature, and plenty of love to give. She’s looking for a forever home where she can enjoy a calm, predictable routine and continue blossoming into the wonderful companion she is. Raya is a fairly low-energy girl overall, but mention the words “go for a walk” and suddenly she’s ready to party! She loves her daily walks and dog-park adventures and gets especially excited when she knows an outing is coming. At home, she’s much more relaxed and enjoys simply being near her people. Raya is affectionate and deeply loyal once she trusts you. She’s friendly with women, older kids, and strangers, and she knows her basic obedience. She’s also fully house trained and will let you know she needs to go outside with a little whine. Raya actually does very well with other dogs and tends to warm up to them fairly quickly. Once comfortable, she loves having canine friends to play with. She can be a little protective of her person and does best with calm, thoughtful introductions, but she’s capable of happily sharing her home with other dogs. This happy-go-lucky boy loves everyone he meets and is always ready for an adventure, whether it's a long walk, a game of tug, or a romp with his dog friends. Buddy is doing great with potty training and has had no accidents in his foster home. Like any puppy, he's still learning his manners and will need continued training, especially on leash walking. He can be vocal when excited and is a world-class chewer, so plenty of toys and bones are a must! This social butterfly would love an active family that can keep up with his playful energy.
