Story
Hi, I’m Otis! 🐾Certified Good Boy, Lap Lover & Backyard Explorer 🐶💚I’m all about my people—if you sit down, I’m in your lap. If you let me, I’m giving kisses. I live for belly rubs, tail wags, and quality cuddle time. I will sleep with you if you let me and even put my head on your pillow, but I am also very comfortable in my kennel and will be wagging my tail eager to see you when you wake up! When I’m not being the ultimate snuggle buddy, I’m out making friends with other pups or watching the squirrels and rabbits!Oh, and food? Yes, please. I love to eat and I really appreciate a good treat. You’ve got snacks? We’re best friends already. 🍖🐾Life’s better with a little mud on my paws and love (and snacks) in my heart!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
While he may not ribbit- this boy can definitely hop! Frogger is a 1 year old beagle/Australian shepherd cross. He is cute as can be just as much fun!Frogger absolutely loves other dogs. He does great with dogs of all sizes and ages. He, obviously, prefers a wrestling buddy but is equals happy with a snuggle buddy! He is pretty indifferent to the cats in his foster home. He is good with the kids in his foster family. He is great in his crate and the house.Frogger is a really fun, active, and smart boy that needs a family that willing and able to keep his brain and his body active. He is a champion runner and is a great training companion. He also would make a phenomenal working dog- obedience, tracking, agility, rally - the possibilities are endless!Frogger is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. He has also tested negative for heartworm disease. His adoption fee is $450.00 plus sales tax. Please submit an adoption application if you would like to meet this fun guy!

Hi! My name is Ruby and I am from Alabama. Ruby is an incredible sweet girl! She just wants to be by your side and relax enjoying her golden years! At 10 years old she is still very active and enjoys walks, and does perfectly on leash. She would be the perfect companion for a retiree or someone who enjoys slower, quieter days.

Story
Hi! My name is Perrin and I am from Arkansas. Prepare to fall in love with Perrin, a truly wonderful pup who's just 1 year young and ready for his forever home! This gentle soul might be a little nervous at first, but he settles in incredibly quickly. His foster reports that after just an hour, he was eating, drinking, exploring, and resting peacefully at their feet! Perrin is a true companion who loves to be right by your side, whether it's cuddling up in bed or simply resting at your feet. He's a social butterfly with other dogs and seems to be house-trained, especially with frequent outdoor breaks. This peaceful pup is still learning new things: he's not quite used to jumping into the backseat of a car and needs a lift, and stairs are a bit of a puzzle (though he's improving every day!). He's also learning that all four paws stay on the floor, and a gentle reminder is all it takes. Perrin is a quiet, loving, and deeply peaceful companion ready to curl up and become your best friend.

Story
I am looking for a foster or forever family! Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can say YES to fostering this animal! Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt Hi! My name is Albert and I am from Arkansas. From his foster: Hi! I'm Albert! Thanks for stopping by to read a bit about me. If you are looking for a 40 pound lap dog - I could be your boy. Don't get me wrong, I love going on walks, playing with my foster dog sister, and destuffing toys but my absolute favorite activity is snuggling up or even on top of my foster mom. My foster mom says that I am a very good boy because I am house-trained, kennel trained - never a peep out of me after enticed in with a treat, and I know not to chew on stuff that isn't mine. I do have an old leg injury but that doesn't slow me down. I play, walk, and chase around with the best of them. I'd love to meet you so you could see for yourself what a good boy I am. From the Vet: I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family. Albert came to us heartworm positive and upon completing his exam we notice that he walking abnormally. His legs show a fairly severe previous fracture resulting in a protrusion of his femur bone The injury occurred so long ago that surgical repair is not something our orthopedic specialist is recommending. We also discussed possible amputation, however he does use the leg when walking, but as you can see in his photos when he is stationary he will sometimes just hold it up. He will likely need some medical management for this life-long, but its nothing a young dog like him can't handle. We hope that he continues to thrive in his forever home!
