Story
Meet Sebastian! Sebastian is a special kind of boy.  He has a pretty rough life that only he knows what happened.  He lost his eye due to some kind of blunt injury and it left him a bit skittish if he can see you.  He is the kind of boy that really loves to be one persons dog.  He does amazing with our whole family (5 of us) and other dogs.  But trust is something you earn with him.  He will need time to warm up and meet and greets do not always go well but if you give him a chance he will surprise you.  He loves to snuggle, does great in his kennel even though he does not need to be kenneled.  He is house broken, does great in the car and loves walks.  Sebastian deserves so much more than his past, but he will need the most amazing people to give him is future.  Will that be you? Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Say hi to Mason! He is a 1 year old beagle mix and he weighs around 42 lbs.  He is a very active pup who loves to explore. Mason loves to be outside just sniffing new smells. A fenced yard is recommended since his nose will sometimes take him farther than he should wander. He has a few special needs but nothing that isn’t fixable. Mason has a sensitive stomach. The rescue is working very hard at finding just the right food for him. He also gets car sick but now takes medicine before car trips and he’s done much better. He loves to go in the car, his tummy just doesn’t like it very much. Mason is a counter surfer. If there’s a good smell he goes looking for it. He is doing better when I use the word off.  Mason is very leery of new people. He warms up quickly but will try to hide initially. Now for the good stuff! Mason is such a lover; he loves to cuddle and give kisses. He gets so excited when he sees his people, even when you’re only gone for a few minutes. He is very food and treat motivated. He learned to sit, shake and lay down very quickly. Mason loves the resident dog. They run, wrestle and explore together.  It would be great if he could go to a home with a furry friend. For how trim he looks Mason is actually very muscular and man can this dog run! It’s like he’s turbo charged! He also is a jumper. I believe with the right training and work he could be an agility competitor. We’re still working on leash training as he likes to pull because he’s so excited about new sights and smells. Mason does not bay like a beagle, he has a normal dog bark. He has been around older kids and been fine with them, I have no reason to believe he’ll be different with smaller kids. He is very content to chew on a bone in the house and likes to curl up next to you for pets. He is such a sweet boy and will definitely bring joy into his forever home! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $550.00 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 19, 2024, 3:35 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $350 plus taxJimmy is a fun loving beagle! He is a get out and go on walk kinda guy! Of course being a beagle he does need frequent opportunities to stop and use his nose. He is getting along well with the other dogs in his foster home and quickly picked up on his place in the pack. He does well in his crate and sleeps there quietly overnight. He is also still working on his housetraining schedule but getting the hang of it. Jimmy seems to have minor reduced vision in his left eye, all of the testing MARS has the capability to do has come back normal and he doesn't seem uncomfortable at all. At this time MARS will not cover any additional testing, treatment, or consult with an ophthalmologist. It is a possibility that down the road if Jimmy's eyesight continues to decrease or his eyes become painful, additional diagnostics and treatment may be recommended with an ophthalmologist at the adopter's cost.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Hello, I’m Turbo! I’m a Beagle born approximately 11/3/20. I’m looking for my perfect family! I’m a super sweet boy who likes to curl up and take naps! I get along super well with other dogs and there’s a cat here but I’m afraid of her! I love to play fetch and just play in general! Toys are so much fun! I know how to “sit” “lay down” “stay” and sometimes when my momma says “dance” I’ll jump up and down. I love to please my people so they say I am a good dog to train. I am potty trained, house trained, and kennel trained! At night when the house is settling down, I’ll be on the couch with you, and bonus points if you cover me with a blanket! I can take a minute to warm up to people but when I do I’m your best friend! Little kids stress me out, so a home with no young kids is what’s best for me! Treats always help sway my opinion on you, just a tip!   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $400 plus tax        Henlo hoomans! I am Austin! I am a good beagle but I still have a few issues I’m working through with my foster pawpa and his fur fren. I came from da streets and so am still a timid boy and am slow to trust, but I want to it just takes time. I woof being outside and running around wif my fluffy fren and getting da zoomies out, but getting back in da house can sometimes be tricky as da outside is awesome! I woof all da treatos, but I especially woof da cheesy curds from Culver’s. I enjoy walkies, but I like to have the time to get the sniffs in so they sometimes take a while.    Some of my issues, besides being timid, are I can be a little vocal, but no more than you’d expect from a regal beagle like myself and I am having some issue with understanding that potty is to be always done outside, but da foster hooman and I are working on this. I’m also a bit of a chewer, so make sure I have chews to help wif my nervous chewing so I don’t go after your socks, or toys, or cables, or anything else I can get my teefs on I’m not supposed to have.     Won’t you give me a good, trusting home so I can show da world what an awesome boy I can be? Story
Meet Zeke! He is a beagle mix born approx. 11/25/22. He gets along with the resident dogs and cat. He loves to give kisses. Although he is still a puppy, he doesn't care much for little kids and sometimes can be very reserved when new people come to his foster home. Zeke is fully potty trained and has learned to sit, leave it and on occasion he will shake. We've been working on him settling down when it comes to dinner time as he becomes extremely excited. Every time we get his food he now sits and waits patiently. He is very smart but he can be extremely stubborn. He does enjoy vocalizing and gets the zoomies after dinner. Kennel is not something he likes very much at all but he will calm down with treats after about 10 min. He would prefer to be next to his person. He sleeps through the night with no accidents as long as he is let out right away in the morning. He is a loving and sweet boy, who loves to smother those he loves with kisses so if you're grossed out by puppy kisses he may not be right for you.  Zeke is also a jumper/climber. Baby gates won't stop him. Sometimes I think he was born in the wrong body or maybe he used to be a goat in his past life.  Zeke makes the most perfect cuddle pup you could ask for. He wants to be by your side every minute of every day!  He would be perfect for a one dog home.  His best friend is a cat! They make such a funny duo. Zeke and our cat play very nicely together, as if they are best buds. Zeke might be too much for a cat who doesn't want to play. Zeke is a very loyal dog who is looking for his human. If you're looking for a partner in crime...this little guy is it! He loves to cuddle up on the couch and smother you with kisses, he doesn't like to share his human mom with the resident dogs. So I believe a home with no other dogs would be best.     Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 19, 2024, 3:35 am
