He’s also been doing an amazing job with his training and would thrive in a home that can continue helping him build on that success. He can be a little overzealous when meeting new dogs, but once the ice is broken, he’s the most loyal playmate around. Bada’s journey is one of resilience, joy, and second chances. This lovable pup came all the way from Korea, where he arrived to our partner rescue with a fractured front leg. Unfortunately, the injury became infected due to the extreme heat and humidity, but they knew we couldn’t leave him behind. After rescuing him, it was discovered that his bone had healed improperly, and Bada needed surgery to correct it. Now, after a successful recovery, Bada is living it up in Illinois as a happy, healthy dog who’s ready to leap, run, and enjoy life to the fullest! Bada has a bright, outgoing personality and is full of energy. He’s not shy about anything—he’s all about making new friends and jumping right into playtime! Whether it's chasing after a ball or running around with a fellow dog, Bada is always up for some fun. His exuberance and excitement are contagious! This sweet boy has a friendly nature that makes him warm up quickly to people. Bada is best suited for a home with energetic and playful dogs who can match his playful pace, as he can be a bit too much for more laid-back pups. These sisters arrived as transfers from Chicago Animal Care and Control, and they’ve been stealing hearts since the moment they arrived. Tamara and Tia are the total Border Collie package — clever, energetic, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining. They love to play, explore, and show off their smarts, but they also have a soft, snuggly side that makes them wonderful companions. Whether they’re romping in the yard or curling up side by side for a nap, they’re happiest when surrounded by people who love them. While Tamara and Tia adore each other, they’re also confident enough to thrive in separate homes — so they can be adopted together or individually. Lincoln is a handsome young Border Collie Mix, with an estimated date of birth of December 23 2022. He weighs about 45 lbs. He absolutely loves people and is very affectionate. However he is not fond of other dogs. Lincoln enjoys spending time in his foster family’s yard and would love a forever home with a large, secure fenced (above ground) yard. He loves spending time with human friends and needs a family or, a single pet parent, who will spend plenty of time with him. Because he’s not good with other dogs, dog parks are not on his list of favorite places! However, he is an active boy and would love to go for hikes and runs with his people….when he’s not playing in his own yard! Border Collie experience is a big plus for this smart boy. Due to his energy/playfulness, he is not an apartment or condo dweller. Rather, he’d love his own spaces where he could run and play, and an active family, or pet parent!! Lincoln is up to date on all vaccinations, is heartworm negative and is on heartworm preventative. He is neutered and microchipped as well.
