Story
How can you resist this face? Remi was found as a stray with her four litter mates. She is a wonderful puppy. Remi's foster mom said she sleeps quietly in her crate all night and is housebroken. She is great with the other dog in her foster home. We think Remi is a border collie/lab mix._________________________________________________________________________Adoption Donation for Remi is $ 525.00WANT TO MEET RemiThe first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the “Adopting a Pet” page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application. Also, please visit our very active Facebook Page for updates on Remi and our other adoptable pets with AEAR - www.facebook.com/aear.orgAll our animals available for adoption are living in foster homes. Story
Mollie is fostered in Novi, Michigan.   Searching for a Professional Cuddler? Meet our Mollie Moo Cow!  Do you have a couch that needs more dog hair and a heart that needs more love? Mollie is a 2-year-old, 30 lb love bug who will guarantee to make you laugh every darn day. Her foster mom says she is the "goofiest girl" and once you meet her, we're positive you will agree. Mollie loves to make people smile! Mollie is still learning that the world isn’t a scary place, so she can be a bit shy at first.  Once she trusts you, she is THE MOST affectionate girl who will be by your side 24/7.   What Mollie loves: Walks! Mollie has excellent leash manners and is ready to be your walking partner. Other Dog Friends: Mollie gets along great with other pups! She does best with others who will take things slowly, but once she opens up, bring on the wrestling matches! Other Animals: Mollie has not been cat tested, but she loves to chase those pesky squirrels. Meaning kitty friends might have to take matters into their own paws! Tricks: Mollie knows sit, down, and shake. She has been working really hard on wait and leave it! Her foster mom taught her how to ignore distractions on their walks, which is crucial.  Mollie is a sucker for a treat (cheese is her weakness)! Because she is still building confidence, she would do best in a calmer home without small children. She would do best with an adopter who will provide the patience to help her overcome her fears.  In return, she will give you her whole heart!  Mollie needs: An adoptive home that is ready to continue the wonderful work that her foster home has already began.  Someone who has herding breed experience.  We would highly recommend a physically fenced yard. Submissive dog(s) if there are other dogs in the home.  She does not care for "pushy" dogs and it would cause her to lose confidence in other dogs. Another dog is NOT required in her adoptive home, but please see notes about personality required for other dogs in the home.  Mollie is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations and receiving monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworms. Proof of heartworm prevention for any current and prior pets is required to adopt from our rescue.   NOTE:  All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in.  Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application.  We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family.  MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives.  www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org ##2588320##

Story
Sampson is being fostered in Waukesha WI Introducing Sampson! This cutiepatootie black bi Border Collie Mix is just the sweetest boy ever!  His date of birth is 9/1/2020.  He currently weighs 75lbs. but he is on a diet and an exercise regimen in his foster home to shed about 30lbs and be the size of a regular dog.  He came in at 79lbs.   Sampson is great with other dogs, cats and kids!  He doesn't love an intact male dog but he is respectful of them when they are not in his face.  He is just a gem with everyone he meets.  He really LOVES his humans and would love nothing more than to have humans to call his own. He is loving, affectionate, easy going and just wants to be loved!  He is potty trained and crate trained, but he really doesn't need a crate.  He would be fine as an only dog or with a bunch of dogs!  Sampson would love a home that will help him get to his ideal weight which is about 50lbs.  He has already shed a few pounds at his foster home! YAY! Being this overweight isn't healthy for him or his joints, so losing the weight is critical for his health and well being.  Sampson would be happy with a fenced yard, but he isn't a flight risk and would also be fine without one and someone that would take him for walks.   Sampson is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, negative for all tick borne diseases and on monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworm.   Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization.  For more information on our adoption process or to complete an adoption application, please visit our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org.
