SWEET SWEET SWEET! Found as a stray dumped in the country. Amazingly, Finn has a great temperament and has been evaluated by an accredited behaviorist. He passed all his tests with flying colors. We are happy to share her evaluation with any prospective family. Finn is about 3 years old, neutered, current on vaccinations, hw negative and microchipped. He is learning about toys in his foster home and how to live inside. Finn LOVES people! He kissed the vet, the tech, and everyone in the waiting room at the vet clinic. Finn is very smart and catches on quickly to what you are teaching him. He will make a fabulous addition to the right family. This is  Shadow.  He is a  two year old border collie Shepard mix, i’m weighing 55-60 pounds.  He was surrendered by his owner with Bane.  He gets a bit  nervous around new people and need some time to trust, due to his past.  He was abused and then  surrendered.  Given some time to trust he will be the best dog.  . He would probably be best in a home with older children if any, I have some  energy, and would probably do best in a house with a yard.   Shadow is all about play!!! he loves to play with anything! he even plays with the treats we give him. He is the biggest sweetheart when he warms up and loves to get cuddles and have all the toys in the world. He would most likely love to go on hikes or even runs.  What a cute dog that is so deserving of a home to show him he is worthy of love! ##1880131##

Mitzi (6y/o) came to us almost two years ago. She is sweet, loyal, affectionate and attached at the hip to whomever will allow it. She is smart and can likely be trained. We didn't know when we took her in, but we suspect she has been in an abusive home before ours. She seems to be pretty anxious and protective of her humans. She needs a family to take care of her who has a lot of time to dedicate to her. She gets pretty sad when she doesn't get to spend time near her family. She enjoys being in the same room, if not next to a person at all times. We have a cat in our home and after months of slowly socializing them, they can be in the same room together without issue. A few weeks after we took her in, she had an incident where she bit another dog without provocation. The incident was documented and for a time we were afraid that she would be hostile towards other dogs, indefinitely. We have been walking her and have seen her improve in her ability to be around other dogs.

UPDATE 9/11/23. TILLIE HAS JUST GRADUATED FROM BOARD AND TRAIN! She played with at least 5 dogs there, knows her commands, and is ready for her forever home! Tillie is VERY active and would be best suited with another doggie playmate in her new home. OR perhaps someone who would like to train with her for agility or some other event. Tillie is exceptionally smart! PRECIOUS TILLIE!! LOOK AT THOSE EARS!!!!! Tillie is a medium sized dog and weighs approximately 37 pounds. She is an Australian cattle dog mix, 9 months old, spayed, current on vaccinations and on heartworm preventative. She is also microchipped. Tillie was out of time at a local shelter and we just HAD to get her! SMART!! SMART!! And LOVES to play fetch with you. Here is a video of her with her "big stick" which she alternates with her "Tillie Ball". She has a lot of playing to do and a lot of love to learn about. MAGGIE IS A TRUE "HEINZ 57" DOG. Her DNA shows Australian Shepherd, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Lab, Siberian Husky, Miniature American Shepherd, and several others!! She is under two years of age and weighs about 52 pounds. She is only slightly above the "medium" size but she is TALL so we chose to put her in the "large" category. MAGGIE IS TRULY ONE IN A MILLION! She ADORES other dogs and we are hoping she will be adopted by an active family that has another SWEET and playful dog. We have videos we can send you of her playing! Maggie has such a loving temperament she would be find with children. As with most dogs that end up in rescue, she had a sad and unfortunate past. But someone stood up for her and we were able to send her to Wiggle Butt Academy to learn how to be a dog and to learn to trust people.
