After her adventures, she's equally content to settle in for cozy naps and soak up affection. Maple came to us with a mammary tumor that was removed during her stay in our care. While testing showed that it had likely already metastasized, she currently shows no signs of illness. Her expected survival could be two years or more - but even if her time may be somewhat shorter, that only makes it more important that she find her forever home soon, with someone who will cherish her golden days. Maple is a "Pawspice" adoption, meaning the East Bay SPCA will provide specific ongoing support for her care going forward. The beautiful girl is named Brandy. I am currently fostering her after a friend has fallen on hard times and can no longer care for her. I would keep her but I cannot financially care for two dogs and I also live in a small studio. She does need training on the leash and other commands. However, she is already potty trained and has had no issue in the home. Brandy is about a year old and still has a lot of energy but her goofy personality is the highlight of my day. I am looking for someone who can give her the life she deserves. She is not spayed yet but I have her appointment set for April.
