Cutie (Q for short) is a sweet 3 year old, neutered male Boxer mix who loves attention and wants to please. He knows Sit and we are working with leash training. He is house trained and is used to going in and out through a pet door. Q loves being indoors with his other pal dogs. My nephew rescued Cutie & 4 other dogs but he passed away 2 months ago and we have been trying to rehome Cutie locally without success. Lucy is a beautiful little Boxer mix girl, about 10 years old and 40 lbs, who loves going for walks and playing outdoors.  She’s had a fair amount of training and knows her basic commands, but as with any dog, she could use an owner who will keep up her training. Lucy is cautious upon meeting new people but once she trusts you, her loving side shines through.  She has a strong personality that requires an experienced dog owner. Lucy loves to go for rides in the car, walks at the park, swimming, playing with her toys, and spending time with her favorite volunteers. She has spent far too long waiting for her forever family to come along (almost 7 years in the shelter...). Adopters are often turned off by the fact that she will require multiple meets to learn its ok to trust you. Will anybody take the time to love Lucy..? Violet Beauregarde Lonestar is 5 years old and 60 lbs and was saved from a Texas shelter with minutes to spare!  She has a bunch of energy so would benefit from an active owner. Violet is good with dogs but prefers if the other pooch knows some manners! She does great in the car and is an excellent walker, even likes to go running. Although this beautiful girl is sweet and cuddly, she can tend to get over excited at times - so, children should be older/considerate.  She needs an owner who will provide her with rules and has some dog experience. Violet is a sweet happy girl who would like a quiet home to live in with not a lot of visitors. Are you looking for a smart, eager to learn, affectionate big lap dog!? Look no further. Rocky is your guy! At 3 years old and 60 lbs, this guy thinks he is still a puppy. Rocky is incredibly smart and knows several unique commands such as spin around & roll over, but he knows the basics, too, like Sit, Down, Stay, Eat & Speak. Rocky likes other dogs and would probably benefit from living with one as he can be a little insecure at times. He loves his friends and enjoys meeting new ones at the park or the vet. He does however like to protect his home so he prefers a more controlled introduction to new people for that. He has also lived with older children (6 & 12 years old) and did well with them. Rocky sleeps in his crate quietly all night. And he's smart enough to let you know when he needs to use the outdoor restroom by whining. He's good in the yard & doesn't try to jump the fence - he does love to play ball, too. He's young so he would love to have a home where he'd get exercised. Goldie is very confused and upset at our kennels. She doesnt understand where she is yet. She is looking for a new home with a family who will shower her with love! Goldie's endearing shyness is her hallmark. She absolutely loves those who she is close with! Other dogs can be a bit scary for her at times but she has met dogs and done fine with some. Meet Marie..... What a gorgeous girl Marie was pulled out of a high kill shelter in Louisiana. We got a call from them and jumped in to pull several of the pups that could have been euthanized in the next few days for space. It's very sad what happens in some of these shelters. Marie is full of life, she is super playful, social and of course FUN.... Marie weighs around 17 pounds. We estimate her full growth weight to be around 45 pounds. Marie is a 14 week old spayed female Boxer Mix. When we pull pups out the shelter system, we do not know exact lineage. The pups are usually several breeds, but we can definitely see alot of boxer in her. Marie is being crate trained and doing well with outside potty training. Being fostered in Butler NJ This girl will make a great companion for an active person or active family...
