Story
Rudolf (white) and Donner are sweet and playful kittens who were born on Christmas! They love to sit and snuggle with people once they're tired out from playing. They get along with nice other cats, would likely be just fine with a friendly dog and would be a great fit in almost any home! These boys about 3 1/2 months old and their neuters and rabies shot are included with your adoption donation of $275 each. If interested in adopting, start at CatsCT.org. Meet this kitty in purrson at Bridgeport Petco, 4559 Main St on weekends 11-2!

Story
We always have Barn and Farm cats to place! Most of these are cats who are not friendly with people, although many do become so over time. These cats live outside primarily and help reduce rodent and pest populations. Farms, barns, feed stores, warehouses, greenhouses, or any building that offers a cat escape from severe weather and predators is ideal for placement. We like to place in pairs but that is not required. The cats in these photos are shy/timid with people but not aggressive and would do best in an outdoor home, not as a house cat. We ask for a $50 fee for each cat adopted however we do spend about $150 per cat to be spayed or neutered and get vaccines so any additional donation is greatly appreciated. Story
Confetti is a very friendly and easy going girl with an adorable bobtail. We estimate her age at about 3. She was already spayed and loves to be petted and have attention. She came to us as a stray and is so happy to be inside with people again. We’re not sure yet how she is with other cats yet but will likely get along well if introduced slowly. If interested in adopting, start at CatsCT.org to submit an application. See this kitty in purrson at PETCO, 4559 Main St, Bridgeport any time they're open!

Story
KIRI is a sweet and playful kitty about 1 year old. We think she was kicked when she was an outside stray cat as she had several broken ribs when we first took her. She is completely healed up now and very ready to find her forever home. Her left hind leg does not support all of her weight, so she is a little wobbly. This could be related to her physical injuries OR she could have a very mild case of "CH" - cerebellar hypoplasia. Kiri loves other cats and loves to play. She would be a great companion for another kitty in your home. She is a bit shy/nervous with new people at first but loves food and treats which is a great way to make friends with her quickly. She does not have any special needs except a home without stairs. She uses a little box just fine, she can get up on a cat condo and on a couch or bed. If interested in adopting, start at CatsCT.org. and submit an application. Meet this kitty in purrson at Bridgeport Petco, 4559 Main St by appointment..

Story
If interested in adopting, start at CatsCT.org to submit an application. Nigel is a handsome young adult who loves to be petted, have attention and spend time with people. He gets along with other cats and would be a great companion for an adult or senior cat in your home or just for you! Nigel came to us as a stray and was in a foster home for several months. He has tested positive for FIV, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, similar to HIV. Just like with people this is NOT contagious through casual contact. It's safe to share food, water, and a litter box with a negative cat. FIV is only passed by a mating, or a deep bite wound, where saliva from the positive cat enters the blood stream of another kitty. This is very rare in socialized house cats. FIV cats may have a shorter life span in part due to the fact that with a compromised immune system they are more prone to contracting infections. FIV positive cats must live strictly indoors to reduce the chances of contracting something dangerous. It is NOT a death sentence! FIV positive cats can live well into their teens and have a very normal life.
