Story
Kali is a young adult cat being rehomed due to a personality mismatch, and I’m looking for a home that better fits her needs. She is litter-trained, independent, and enjoys having her own space while still checking in with her person on her own terms.Kali has a sensitive and observant personality. She can be affectionate in quieter moments and may sit next to you or gently rest a paw on you when she feels comfortable. She does best in calm, predictable environments and appreciates a slower approach to new people, objects, and changes. She would thrive in a patient, low-stimulation home that respects her boundaries and allows her to build trust at her own pace. Kali would be a great match for someone who enjoys a more independent cat and is comfortable reading feline body language. Kali would do best with an adopter who has prior experience with cats.I am looking for a calm, stable home where she can feel secure and continue to grow in confidence. Will be rehomed with food and supplies.

Story
Hello, I am rehoming my cat due to not having enough time or resources to properly take care of her. Echo will be 4 years old on June 17th. She is shy and nervous with new people/places. But she is loving and fun when she is comfortable. She loves to have her tummy scratched, play catch, and sun bathing. She has been around dogs and aside from apprehension, she is indifferent to dogs. She has been an indoor cat the entire time. She will come with a litter box, food, cat tree, and toys.

Story
Cherry is the one with the dark right eye, Butter is the one with the light brown right eye. Cherry and Butter were born May 20, 2025. They are bffs and love to play together. I cannot fathom separating them so they have to go together. I care about them deeply but my schedule leaves me no time to actually be a pet parent and they deserve much better. They are friendly but Cherry can be very shy. Butter is more social. Since they grew up with their siblings, they’ll probably do well in a home with other cats. From my experience they behave well around kids. They have been vaccinated and spayed as of 04/25/2026.

Story
Chowder came to our shelter after suffering a urinary blockage in his original home. His owners sought medical care immediately, but when a second episode happened, they were not able to commit to his special needs for life. We took Chowder to our vet right away. Thankfully he was not blocked again, but instead had an episode of FLUTD (feline lower urinary tract disease). He did not have an infection or crystals, so our doctor can only assume stress caused his episode. Thankfully, Chowder recovered quickly and was back to his sweet self in no time. To keep him at his healthiest, he should remain on a wet food only diet (NO DRY) to assist in preventing any future episodes. A low stress home is ideal for him as stress is often what sets off episodes of FLUTD. Hero loves other cats and would love a playmate in his new home. Chowder is about 5 years old. He is neutered , vaccinated for rabies and distemper, microchipped, feline leukemia/FIV negative, and is current on flea/tick preventative. Interested in meeting Chowder? Please complete an adoption application by visiting our website www.HalfwayHomeRescue.org. Adoption donation $250
