Story
My pet is 1 years old. I am looking for a lovable home who will take good care of my pet. My pet is very lovable and loves to cuddle. He requires attention most times and he loves to eat. We can’t take care of him due to financial issues, but we hope to find him a home who will be able to.

Story
Meet Blue 🩵 – Sweet, Snuggly, and Full of Love Blue is my sweet girl cat my husband gave me just three weeks into dating — and she’s been part of our story ever since. She absolutely adores my oldest daughter; they were inseparable, and their bond has been so special to watch. Blue is incredibly affectionate and gentle. She loves to snuggle up close, jump onto cozy spots, and play around the house. She’s soft, loving, and happiest when she’s near her people. Unfortunately, my youngest daughter, Luna, is very afraid of small animals. After 6–8 months of trying to acclimate them, it hasn’t worked. Blue (and Kaya) have been confined to one room, and they deserve space, freedom, and more interaction. Ideally, we’re hoping for a long-term foster or a loving permanent home. I would love for them to stay together (and possibly Kaya as well), but separate placements are okay if needed. Thank you for considering giving her the home she deserves. 🩵

Story
NOTE: The listing says she is microchipped, but she is not. I don't know how that got set and I can't find any way to edit this.I adopted Rozzy from a local shelter 3 years ago. She was a 5 month old kitten from a feral litter found after the mother was likely caught by a coyote. She is sweet but very skittish. She does not allow herself to be held, she would do best with other cats.

Story
**She is in Foster Home Currently **Kali is a black beauty who is 4 years old. She has lived with her owner since she was a baby. Her owner and her had a very loving relationship. However her owner has passed away a few months ago and we are trying to find her a forever home where she will be loved and taken care of. Kali is protective and loves the people she lives with. She would do best in a quiet relaxing home. She is quiet at first but will warm up. She needs to be the queen of the castle. She would love to sit with you and be pampered.

Story
Indy came to HHR from a VERY tough neighborhood where he and his housemates were thrown outside. Indy is a super sweet boy who loves to play. He gets along great with other cats and would be fine with respectful children as well. He has never lived with dogs. Indy has a mild case of (what is assumed to be) cerebellar hypoplasia. This is a permanent condition (similar to cerebral palsy) and does not affect his quality of life one bit. It does give him a wobbly gait- something we find endearing. Indy is about 2 years old. He is neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped, and current on flea/tick prevention. To meet him, please visit our website www.HalfwayHomeRescue.org and complete an application. Adoption donation $275.

Story
Chowder came to our shelter after suffering a urinary blockage in his original home. His owners sought medical care immediately, but when a second episode happened, they were not able to commit to his special needs for life. We took Chowder to our vet right away. Thankfully he was not blocked again, but instead had an episode of FLUTD (feline lower urinary tract disease). He did not have an infection or crystals, so our doctor can only assume stress caused his episode. Thankfully, Chowder recovered quickly and was back to his sweet self in no time. To keep him at his healthiest, he should remain on a wet food only diet (NO DRY) to assist in preventing any future episodes. A low stress home is ideal for him as stress is often what sets off episodes of FLUTD. Hero loves other cats and would love a playmate in his new home. Chowder is about 5 years old. He is neutered , vaccinated for rabies and distemper, microchipped, feline leukemia/FIV negative, and is current on flea/tick preventative. Interested in meeting Chowder? Please complete an adoption application by visiting our website www.HalfwayHomeRescue.org. Adoption donation $250
