Story
Pookie is a 4-year-old, very friendly, loving, and affectionate pet. He is wonderful with adults and is very caring and playful. Unfortunately, he is not comfortable around babies and young children, so we are looking for a loving, patient home where he can feel safe and be the center of attention. Pookie would do best with someone who has the time and patience to give him lots of love, attention, and care. He is a sweet companion who deserves a home where he can be happy, comfortable, and loved.

Story
Chloe is a sweet, playful kitten with lots of personality. She is very social, curious, loves to play and enjoys attention. She can also be pretty vocal when she wants your attention! She has been seen by a vet and is doing well. Due to an unexpected change in circumstances, I need to find Chloe a loving new home as soon as possible. I’m hoping to find someone who has the time for a playful kitten and will give her a safe, permanent home.

Story
I found my cat outside when he was just a baby and took him in. He has grown up around a busy family with children of all ages, including infants, toddlers, and older children. He is extremely friendly, gentle, and very family-oriented. He does very well with kids and also gets along well with dogs. He is a sweet, loving cat who enjoys being around people and would make a wonderful companion for a family. I would love to find him a safe, caring, and permanent home where he will receive the love and attention he deserves. Unfortunately, I am going through a difficult financial situation and can no longer afford the expenses of caring for him. My home is also very small, and I don’t have enough space to comfortably keep him. This is a very difficult decision, but I believe finding him a loving home is the best thing I can do for him.

Story
*** For Information about Adopting or Meeting our Cats, 1) Click Here to Submit an Application 2) Be Approved 3) Make an Appointment *** The "T" girls came to us from the basement of a house in Norwalk after a community member started feeding the cats who got in. Eventually there were litters of kittens and the family contacted PAWS for help. One of our amazing TNR specialists went to assess the situation and started pulling cats & placing them with fosters for socialization. This litter of all girls went to one of our best socializers & after a few short weeks we deemed them ready to come in shelter. All of the girls are microchipped, vaccinated spayed & ready to go home IN PAIRS - we've listed them at the suggestion on their foster based on the bonds observed.

Story
*** For Information about Adopting or Meeting our Cats, 1) Click Here to Submit an Application 2) Be Approved 3) Make an Appointment *** Mama de Mayo was known around the neighborhood as a friendly stray likely abandoned by someone who moved. One day I received a call from a self identified "dog person" who, although she'd pet Mama de Mayo in the months prior when she'd seen her was at a loss for what to do in her current predicament. Mama de Mayo had snuck into her finished basement & given birth to 5 kittens behind her couch. I asked our local TNR associate to go there to assess the situation & she was able to trap the now nervous new mom. The little family went to foster & now most of her kittens have been adopted. Mama de Mayo was initially pretty nervous in shelter but did well in foster so it will likely take her a little more time to decompress once in her new home. Mama de Mayo has been microchipped, vaccinated & spayed.
