Story

Fitzgerald is a very chill cat. He is very much motivated by food and looks forward to his next meal at all times. He has a sweet personality. I am simply no longer able to care for him because of personal circumstances. He was adopted at four weeks old and lived with another cat until 18 months ago when that cat passed away. He is currently 12 and in good health. He’s fearless, affectionate once he is comfortable with a person but he is not a needy cat. He simply likes to sleep a lot.Six months ago, he had necessary dental surgery and had several teeth removed. However, he has no issues eating, but for obvious reasons prefers soft food.

Story

A few years back I had picked up Pablo off of the street in my neighborhood after a family had left him. Pablo is estimated to be about nine years old. Pablo has always been a loving cat, always wanting to be pet, always wanting attention and great with people and children alike. In the early years of having Pablo I also had another cat and they would be fine together, although Pablo’s playful nature sometimes clash with the other cat. Pablo’s only worries in life is when feeding time comes around in the morning and afternoon. He loves to eat. when it came to grooming, He always let me cut his nails and shower him. He never gave any fuss which is surprising for a cat. Pablo is good with most animals, especially cats. He is very good with dogs, but due to his playful nature sometimes that is too much for certain pets. We believe that with ample room for Pablo and pets that are okay with his playful nature would be best for his needs. He is “THE CHILL CAT” with a sprinkle of playful.

This super-affectionate little lady is a sweetheart with an adorable face. The second she sees you, she’s on her feet, trotting over to give you a greeting. Georgette didn’t have the easiest start. She was found by a kind samaritan, but unfortunately, the resident cats in that home weren't very welcoming to her. But Georgette’s story gets better. Since coming to PAWS, she has found her soulmate in a fellow FeLV+ kitty named Cloudy! They've become deeply bonded and must go home together. Because Georgette and Cloudy are FeLV (Feline Leukemia) positive, they need to be the only cats in your home (or live with other FeLV+ friends). If you're new to FeLV care, don’t worry, a meet-and-greet with Georgette comes with a free consultation with our medical staff to walk you through the ins and outs. Georgette is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to fill your home with love.

Story

*** For Information about Adopting or Meeting our Cats, 1) Click Here to Submit an Application 2) Be Approved 3) Make an Appointment *** Bon Bon is a tabby & white young adult who's just as sweet as her name implies. She came from a hoarding situation of over 30 cats & has had several litters. Bon Bon is polydactyl so she has extra toes on both her front & rear paws. She's very people friendly but still new so we haven't tried her out with any other kitties yet - just because she came from a household with SO many cats doesn't necessarily mean she was happy about her life. Bon Bon is microchipped, vaccinated, spayed & ready for her furever home!

Mama de Mayo

Domestic Shorthair

Female, 1 yr 4 mos

Norwalk, CT

Size

(when grown) -

Details

Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,

Story

*** For Information about Adopting or Meeting our Cats, 1) Click Here to Submit an Application 2) Be Approved 3) Make an Appointment *** Mama de Mayo was known around the neighborhood as a friendly stray likely abandoned by someone who moved. One day I received a call from a self identified "dog person" who, although she'd pet Mama de Mayo in the months prior when she'd seen her was at a loss for what to do in her current predicament. Mama de Mayo had snuck into her finished basement & given birth to 5 kittens behind her couch. I asked our local TNR associate to go there to assess the situation & she was able to trap the now nervous new mom. The little family went to foster & now most of her kittens have been adopted. Mama de Mayo was initially pretty nervous in shelter but did well in foster so it will likely take her a little more time to decompress once in her new home. Mama de Mayo has been microchipped, vaccinated & spayed.
