This super-affectionate little lady is a sweetheart with an adorable face. The second she sees you, she’s on her feet, trotting over to give you a greeting. Georgette didn’t have the easiest start. She was found by a kind samaritan, but unfortunately, the resident cats in that home weren't very welcoming to her. But Georgette’s story gets better. Since coming to PAWS, she has found her soulmate in a fellow FeLV+ kitty named Cloudy! They've become deeply bonded and must go home together. Because Georgette and Cloudy are FeLV (Feline Leukemia) positive, they need to be the only cats in your home (or live with other FeLV+ friends). If you're new to FeLV care, don’t worry, a meet-and-greet with Georgette comes with a free consultation with our medical staff to walk you through the ins and outs. Georgette is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to fill your home with love.

At 9yrs old he found himself wandering the streets of Bridgeport. His microchip told the story of being a California kitty who bounced around quite a bit due to moves & owner illnesses & a death. The strikingly handsome senior is already adjusting to the shelter quite well & showing interest in the other nice kitties in his room. Stephen King is microchipped, vaccinated, neutered & had bloodwork within normal limits upon intake - could this sweet senior be the new furry family member for you?

One day I received a call from a self identified "dog person" who, although she'd pet Mama de Mayo in the months prior when she'd seen her was at a loss for what to do in her current predicament. Mama de Mayo had snuck into her finished basement & given birth to 5 kittens behind her couch. I asked our local TNR associate to go there to assess the situation & she was able to trap the now nervous new mom. The little family went to foster & now most of her kittens have been adopted. Mama de Mayo is still pretty nervous in shelter but did well in foster so she'll likely need some time to decompress once in her new home. Mama de Mayo has been microchipped, vaccinated & spayed.

This friendly kitty with her sleek black coat was brought in by a volunteer. Mellow Monkey is so easy going that she would be a perfect first pet for a family with small children. She asks for attention politely, even climbing into your lap if you pat it with your hand and has not used her claws on anything but a scratching post since being with us. She is polite about asking for attention but would do best in a home where she is not alone often. Mellow Monkey is microchipped, vaccinated, spayed & ready for her furever home!

Eventually there were litters of kittens and the family contacted PAWS for help. One of our amazing TNR specialists went to assess the situation and started pulling cats & placing them with fosters for socialization. JoJo is a young tabby male who is timid at first but warms up pretty quickly - especially if food is involved. JoJo has found a friend in Dragon a tabico polydactyl female kitten who unfortunately lost her brother. JoJo & Dragon are microchipped, vaccinated, neutered & spayed - available for adoption TOGETHER!
