Story
Meet our very pretty golden eyed girl named Khloe! Khloe is about 6 years old and she came to our shelter after she was left abandoned in an apartment. Khloe is a bit shy at first, but she really does enjoy getting attention and will run up to us every morning to say hello. She is a curious girl who will sniff your hand and then ask for a head rub. She is a good eater and she uses her litter box well. Khloe would love to have a home where she can feel safe and never be abandoned again! She seems fine with other cats here, but we don't know her history with dogs. She would like a quiet home where she can lay out and relax. Khloe can go to a home with children 12 years old and older. If you are interested in adopting Khloe Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application! Her adoption fee is $100.00. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! MAC IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (M-F 8-4pm) (Sat-Sun 10-4pm) Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. The office phone number is 203-235-4179. Leave a message, and someone will call you back promptly. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME. For more info please call 203-235-4179 (Always Leave A Message) or email adopt@savingpawsct.org

Story
Meet our adorably sweet young guy named Bengie! Bengie is about 2 years old and he came to our shelter after he was found rummaging around in a dumpster not far from our shelter. We do believe he is a Bengal. Bengie was friendly and outgoing with us right away, but we could tell something was off. Turns out Bengie's retinas are detached and he is now blind because of this. Being blind hasn't slowed Bengie down though! He is still an active boy who can get around quite well. He uses his whiskers well to manage around walls and obstacles. Bengie is a talkative fellow who loves attention and loves to eat! He is fine with other cats and does not mind being around them. Bengie will need multiple large litter boxes in his home that he can find to use. Bengie is a happy guy who will keep his new family entertained! He can go to a home with children 10 years old and older. If you are interested in adopting Bengie Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application! His adoption fee has been waived. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! MAC IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (M-F 8-4pm) (Sat-Sun 10-4pm) Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Story
This big hunk of love is Aries! While big in size, he’s a shy boy, that needs a bit of help with his confidence. A patient owner, who understands that Aries requires a slow transition to his new home, is a must. He’d do fine with other polite kitties or as your one and only. Starting Aries off in one room, where you spend time with him, so he can get to know you, is a big must. You won’t be disappointed! Please complete an application here: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=28

Story
Meet Maeve — A Little Warrior Queen with a Big Heart! 🐾Named after Maeve, the legendary and fierce warrior queen of Irish mythology, little Maeve certainly lives up to her name! She may be small, but she has a mighty personality—and she knows exactly what she wants: love, affection, and plenty of playtime!Maeve is thriving in her foster home with her best buddy, Walsh. Although she is 11 weeks younger than Walsh, don't let the age difference fool you—Maeve has no problem showing him who’s boss! Once playtime is over, though, this little warrior happily curls up beside him for a cozy nap. 💕Maeve can be adopted on her own or together with Walsh. If adopted separately, she would definitely do best with another friendly, playful feline companion to keep her company. With her playful spirit, confident personality, and affectionate nature, Maeve is ready to conquer the world—one cuddle at a time! 👑🐱
