Story
This is "Chester". He is about 2 years and 4 months old. A few months ago we got a call from someone on Chestnut Avenue in Waterbury (hence the name "Chester") who was feeding Chester for a while and then Chester got sick from another cat. We took Chester in then and he was very very sick. He was so sick he could not breath, he was very congested, he was drooling a lot and he was not eating. He was just skin and bones! Chester is now completely different from what he was. He did a 100% turnaround! It took us about a month to help make him feel better. He is a healthy cat now and no more skin and bones! Chester gets along with other cats. As for dogs, he could probably live with a calm small dog. In Chester's new home, children must be 6 years old or older. Chester got neutered, he got his shots and he tested negative for feline leukemia/aids. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules. The adoption fee for Chester is $245.00. No credit cards. You can meet any of our animals at Petco located at 201 Union Street in Waterbury on Saturday during our adoption hours from 12:00 to 3:00 so, if you are interested in meeting Chester or a particular animal, please email us at feline55keeper@gmail.com and we will be certain to bring that particular animal with us to Petco on Saturday. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE STRESS THAT IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM US, YOU MUST HAVE A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE...NO EXCEPTIONS!

Story
Here we have "Jerry". Jerry is about 5 years old. He is mostly gray and quite handsome with his beautiful white markings and beautiful long white whiskers! Jerry came to us with his brother a while ago from an elderly couple who could not take care of them anymore. The two cats came to us stuffed together in a small carrier and they could hardly move. Jerry's brother is not quite ready for adoption yet. Jerry and his brother are not bonded so they do not have to be adopted together. Now let's talk about Jerry! Jerry is a very nice cat and he is very loving. He will be shy in the beginning. For the first week or so it will be a little strange for Jerry being in a new home but, once he knows his new home, he will come around and we know he will be a wonderful cat. In Jerry's new home, there should be female cats only and no male cats. Children must be 6 years old or older. Jerry is neutered, his shots are updated, he was wormed and he tested negative for feline leukemia/aids. The adoption fee for Jerry is $250.00. No credit cards. Story
This is "Grumpy"! Grumpy is a tiger with calico and she is about 4 years and 10 months old. She is a very pretty girl even with a name like "Grumpy"! Grumpy was found as a stray by UCONN on East Main Street in downtown Waterbury and came to us over a year ago. When we took Grumpy in, she was not a very happy camper to say the least, hence her name "Grumpy"! Grumpy was not happy with the other cats in her foster home but, with time, she has come around and she is doing very well. Grumpy is a very nice cat. Her foster says she is over nice! Grumpy has come a long way. Grumpy is no longer grumpy!! Grumpy would do well in a house with no other cats. If she could be the only cat, she would like that very much. Grumpy would make a great companion for a retired couple. In Grumpy's new home, children must be 6 years old or older. Grumpy came to us spayed, she got her shots and she tested negative for feline leukemia/aids. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name.
