Story
Fluffers, Sox and Fluffers 2 were dumped on somebody's property, and refused to leave. Smart cats. They knew where a safe place was at. We believe Sox is the mom and Fluffers 1 and 2 are her daughters. The people who own the property they were dumped at felt bad for them and took them in to care for them. They have been caring for them for 3 months, and due to the owner's disability, he never had intention to keep them or care for them long term. He only wanted to do the best he could for them during the winter. The kittens seem young - about 10-12 months old and the mom seems to be around 2-3 years old. The mom, Sox, is the friendliest of the 3 and she has no shame in her game. Sox (momma cat) - 2-3 years old and loves to be held. She absolutely loves her scratches and getting loved on. She is definitely a lap cat and would rather be getting pets by you than anywhere else. Sox can enjoy her lay around on a cat tree, or well, whatever she feels like laying on at the time. She gets along great with cats but hasn't met many dogs, so only calm or well-behaved dogs that mainly leave her alone would be best. Sox loves when the fosters children pet her, so we know she gets along with kids! Her Favorite place to sleep is next to you, or on top of you. She loves to play with her toys or with humans but doesn't really care to play with her 2 daughters (who can blame her!). Sox loves to be carriers and getting her pets. Overall, she wants to spend a lot of her time being next to and with her people. Fluffers (1) - 10-12 months old female, very, very sweet. She runs around in circles when its food time because she is so excited for food and just can't wait. She becomes a meowing machine. Fluffers 1 is way more vocal than Fluffers 2. Fluffers (2) - 10-12 months old female very gentle and calm. She likes to just lay around and relax. Much calmer than Fluffer 1 and mom. She is not very vocal and doesn't really play around a lot. She just likes to watch TV and watch the world go by. Both Fluffers love to play with string, but they don't care to play with other cats, but they get along great with other cats. They love getting their pets and crave more every time. They both like to go to high places to sleep and sometimes sleep in piles on top of one another. If they're allowed in bed with you or around you, count them in to be there. They love their cat trees and being high up to see everything. Because of their long hair, please take into consideration the grooming that will come with them. Even though all 3 came from outside, none of them like going outside anymore and prefer to be inside and loved on. All 3 cats will be spayed, tested Negative for FIV/FLV, dewormed, microchipped, current on flea prevention, current on age-appropriate vaccinations and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian PRIOR to transport. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We ONLY adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. Each adoption fee is $395 which includes a brand-new crate that we purchase that you will receive at pick up. No additional fees. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks: Albany and Latham, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, Enfield, New Haven and Dayville, CT Port Chester, NY Dayton and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh/Elkton, MD Falls Church, VA We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.

Story
Simba, Zahara, Kito and Zuri are a litter of 4 kitties that were rescued off the streets when they were found exposed to the elements, trying to nurse on their mom, who was very skinny. Who knows how long they would have lasted outside, but thankfully, they won’t ever have to know. The kittens came to us when they were about 2 weeks old, eyes and ears barely opening. These kittens have been raised in a home since young and have been well socialized and are super friendly. As of 6/14 – they are approximately 6-7 weeks old. They are eating canned and dry food, as the momma cat is dried up and no longer nursing them. These tiny kittens are very curious and learning how to play with their toys and explore everything they can. Being so young, they are just having their firsts of everything. They would do great with gentle and kind children, just be aware these are VERY small kittens, and any kids need to be supervised until they grow. They have not met dogs yet, but they hear them back and are very curious but given how small they are, we are waiting to introduce them to dogs. We believe they would grow up and happily live with doggies with slow introductions. Simba, Zahara, Kito and Zuri are so friendly and loving. They enjoy being held and getting pets. They would make great cuddle partners! While we do not require you to adopt 2, we strongly recommend another kitten or other animals in the house, so they are not bored when left alone. A bored cat can be a bad cat, and we don’t want that! These kitties are current on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FLV Tested Negative, microchipped, current on flea prevention and will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org PLEASE NOTE: This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. Story
Rosie and her 3 beautiful kittens were thrown out like trash, literally. Someone was throwing trash away, and found a momma cat in the trash can, in a trash bag, with her 3 tiny, nursing babies. How ANYONE can treat an animal like trash is beyond us, but to literally put them in a tall trash can with a trash bag, was intentional and beyond cruel. The current foster saw someone post them (refer to picture of her in the trash can) on Facebook and immediately jumped into action to help them. You never know what you’re going to get when you live on the Texas/Mexico border, but thankfully now these babies are safe, thriving and ready for their homes where they are treated like the kings and queens, they are. Rosie, the calico mom, despite her circumstances, doesn’t realize someone threw her and her babies away. Rosie absolutely loves all people and loves to be around people. She loves her pets and is an amazing lap cat, house cat and all-around wonderful companion. Rosie is about 12 months old, and the foster describes her as the sweetest cat. She is so calm and so affectionate. She comes up and boops you if you’re not paying attention to her or if she wants pets that you’re not giving. Rosie LOVES her rubs and LOVES snuggling. The 3 kitties, born around March 25th, are the most social, friendly, loving kitties! They have been raised in the foster home since before they had their eyes open. Lucy – Female Kitten – Calico – She is very sweet and loves to lay right next to you, or just always be close to you. She is a more needy, loving kitten. Lucy is very playful and energetic. She loves her toys. A more active home, and people/person that is home more often would be better for Lucy. She would love another kitten or cat to play with too! Bubbles – Male Kitten – Orange/White – Bubbles is very friendly and goofy. He likes to cuddle but only when he wants to, which is typical of a playful boy kitty that thinks it’s not cool to hang with the adults. Bubbles loves to run around and play with his siblings. He is a very gentle, sweet boy that is very affectionate but also very full of energy. Another kitten or cat in the house is recommended for Bubbles as he is mischievous and needs help with running his energy out. Boo – Male Kitten – Black – The foster describes Boo as a very special kitty because he is unlike Bubbles and Lucy – He is very friendly, and he is smart. He would rather watch at first what everyone else is doing before deciding if it’s worth his time and energy to do too. He loves his toys and to play, but he will sit back and watch if the other kittens get in trouble first, and then will consider joining in. Boo would prefer a calmer/to mildly active home. He is more submissive than his siblings. Rosie, Boo, Bubbles and Lucy are fixed (spayed/neutered), each tested Neg/Neg for FIV/FLV, dewormed, microchipped, current on flea prevention, current on age-appropriate vaccinations and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption.
