***SOLO, BUTTERS AND MIST ARE LOCATED IN A FOSTER HOME AROUND CUMBERLAND, RI - Now that they have arrived to the NE, an approved applicant would have to be willing to drive to meet/pick up the animal*** Solo is a handsome 4-month-old that has the most unique, silver coloring. All of his siblings have been adopted but Solo was the runt of the litter and very small, so we decided to hold him back and let him grow and flourish into his beautiful self. Solo is fostered with other cats and gets along great with other cats. He has been introduced to dogs and with slow introductions can live happily with a dog or dogs. Solo enjoys his toys and climbing on cat trees. When he is not playing, he loves to lay out and relax. If you allow him, he will happily be a lap cat. He would do great with children of all ages. He can adjust to almost any type of environment and would thrive in a home that is calm and more active. Solo would make the best partner in crime for the perfect household. Solo is neutered, microchipped, current on feline distemper and feline leukemia vaccinations, dewormed, will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian and the adoption fee INCLUDES transport to the location this post is in. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. Transport goes to the following locations: Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh, MD and Falls Church, VA We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.

Story
More than 80% of orange cats are males, and we are fortunate to have these 2 gorgeous orange girls that fall into the small percent of orange cats that are female. Butters and Honey are beautiful orange cats that were surrendered to us by the family when their owner passed away from old age. Unfortunately, none of the family members could keep them. Butters is quite a bit younger than Honey, and we believe she could have been Honeys kitten. She is only about 10-12 months old. Butters is also smaller than Honey and only weighs about 7-8 pounds. She loves to roll on her back for belly rubs whenever she’s near you. Butters absolutely loves her ears being rubbed and will let you pet her for hours. She is very much a lap cat, as well as Honey is. The foster brags about how so very sweet both girls are. Honey is about 2-3 years old and a long hair beauty. Honey is amazing. When we got her we didn’t know she was pregnant and within 2 weeks, we had 4 beautiful newborn kitties! Not only was she the BEST mom, she took on not 1, not 2, but FOUR more kittens that their mom died, and they needed a nursing mom to survive. She nursed 8 kittens, 4 not hers, and loved them all like her own. Now that she is kitten free, Honey loves to get pets and even has toys she can play with, that she enjoys playing with, and she doesn’t have to compete with her kitties. When she isn’t playing, she is napping, and she loves a nice lap to lay in! Both cats are soooo so docile. All they want to do is be next to or with their humans. Honey and Butters LOVE to be held and carried around. If you’re lonely, either Butters or Honey would make WONDERFUL companions. They are not bonded and do not have to stay together. Both are GREAT with other cats They have lived with dogs and have no issues with dogs They do good with children Love to be held 100% Lap Cats Litter box Trained Butters and Honey are spayed, microchipped, current on feline distemper and feline leukemia vaccinations, dewormed, will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian and the adoption fee DOES NOT INCLUDE transport to the location this post is in. The fee varies depending on which transport company we use. Story
Sassy is a beautiful calico cat who is around 1.5-2 years old. This sweet girl hasn’t had the easiest life. Prior to our rescue taking her in, she was with another rescue who adopted out of Petco and Petsmart, where she was sent. Being in a glass box was not for Sassy. Being poked, prodded and stared at every day for hours upon hours turned her from a very loving cat to a very scared and withdrawn one. This is when the rescue decided to surrender her to us where we could safely put her in a foster home. She has been in a foster home for about 3 months and is thriving now. She has come out of her shell and learned she’s safe once again. No more glass boxes for her. The foster says this about her: Friendly Vocal – Loves to talk to you Loves to explore and roam around Loves cat trees Learning to love what toys are again Gets along with other cats, but prefers her own space Would do fine with older children, ideally no young ones for Sassy Dogs would be fine with slow introductions (refer to pictures with dog in the background) Wonderful lap cat Very Entertaining Inside Only Sassy is a calmer cat that loves to lay around and just hang out. Sassy is spayed, FIV/ FLV Tested negative, current on vaccinations, microchipped, will be seen by a vet and given a clean bill of health prior to adoption. Story
Katie has lived a hard life, but thanks to her cat-loving rescuer, she is on the road to living a normal life – if only she could get to a forever home! She lived in a feral colony, in the woods, with the threat of coyotes for over 3 years.  During those years of caring for her she became pregnant and was taken to CLAWS where she had her babies and was then spayed.  CLAWS found her babies homes however it was felt Katie was not tame enough to foster at the time she returned to her colony.  I continued to care for her and the others all these years. I provided food and water daily, any medical care, and had shelters made for her and the others. There were 26 cats when I found them all and now, thanks to CLAWS, there are only 2 left Katie and Maggie. About 3 months ago I noticed Katie had a UTI and she needed to go to the vet. I always knew I was going to get her out of there, but I knew when I got her to take to the vet she would not be going back out, she was going home with me. It was time to get her ready for forever home. Kaite is playful independent, very smart, and curious.  She loves sitting in the window seal, watching birds, and other animals from the window.  Katie loves TV, likes to play with her toys, but most of all likes to play with the sheets when I am putting them on or making up the bed.  Katie was around other cats, and I have dogs so she is used to dogs barking, but she would do best in a home without other pets at this time. Katie loves for you to pet and talk to her; however, she does still get scared when picked up and is easily startled. Katie has started jumping up in the chair and in the bed to snuggle, she still needs time to adjust but is doing well. Katie needs more space as she has been in my bedroom and bathroom for over 3 months. The sooner she can get to her forever home the better.  It is going to take some time for her to adjust to all the changes and new people when adopted, so she needs someone willing to work with her and have patience.   Katie would not do well around active and rambunctious children. Eats normal cat food. She is litter box trained. Domestic short hair, green eyes Katie is approximately 4 years old.  ##2240927##

NAME:  Ozark   Approx Birth Date: 5/1/2024 BREED:  Domestic Short Hair  BIO:   Ozark is a curious and sweet cat, and the mom of six kittens! She loves to get attention and be pet, spends plenty of time running around and playing, especially with her kittens! Ozark adores other cats, and will often cuddle, groom, and play with her kittens. Even though she’s not as young as her kittens, she’s nearly as energetic and can keep up with them easily! She’s extremely adventurous, and loves to climb to high-up places.
