Story
Azul is a stud muffin of a big boy cat. We don’t know what is bigger – his beautiful blue eyes or his enormous round head. We estimate him to weigh around 15 lbs and believe he is around 5-6 years old. Azul was found roaming a neighborhood along the Texas Mexico border, where a good Samaritan saw him and knew she had to help him. He was super scrawny, covered in fleas, tons of missing hair and scabs all over his body. After about 6 weeks, Azul is fully healed, all of his hair has grown back, and he is ready for his forever home. Despite his age, he is very playful and active. He loves to be around people and loves to play with his toys. Cuddling is one of his favorite things. Azul is in a foster home where he is around other cats and dogs. Even though he is big, he gets along wonderfully with other cats! He has met dogs in the current foster home and has no issues with them. He can live happily with other dogs and cats in the home! Azul would love to be a lap cat and be loved every day and all day. He does NOT mark. Azul is neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and given a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption/transport. PLEASE READ ABOUT AZUL: Azul is a sweet, gentle soul who has recently tested positive for FIV. This means he needs an indoor-only home where he can be pampered and live a long, healthy life. FIV-positive cats are often the most affectionate! Azul is a total lovebug who is looking for a cozy spot to nap and a family to love. Don't let FIV scare you — it's just a label, not a limitation! He is a very healthy boy that you would not even know had FIV if not for the test. Most cats don’t show symptoms! Please consider reading some facts about FIV and let us know if you would still like to be considered for his adoption. Azul is ready to bring joy to your home. We look forward to hearing back from you. Here are some facts and information to help you learn about FIV: FIV is Not a Death Sentence: FIV is a slow-acting virus that affects a cat's immune system, not a death sentence. Many FIV+ cats live long, normal lives (10-15+ years) and never show symptoms. Perfectly Safe for Families: FIV is not transmissible to humans, dogs, or other non-feline pets. Debunking Myths About Transmission of FIV: Casual Contact is Safe: Contrary to popular belief, FIV is not spread through litter boxes, water bowls, or grooming. Mainly Spreads Through Fighting: The virus is primarily passed through deep, penetrating bite wounds, usually among unneutered, aggressive strays. Safe to Live with Negative Cats: In a stable, non-aggressive home, FIV+ cats can live peacefully with FIV-negative cats. https://www.awlnsw.com.au/find-out-more-about-adopting-an-fiv-cat/ https://bestfriends.org/pet-care-resources/fiv-cats-feline-immunodeficiency-virus-faqs Prior to adopting him, he will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian. Story
Beautiful Martha is ready for a lap to call her own Martha is a gorgeous, petite, long-haired adult cat that is approximately 2 years old and is quite small. Martha originally was supposed to join our rescue in January of 2025, when the original finder said she ran off, and was unable to find her again. Suddenly, at the beginning of May 2026, we get another message that Martha is back, with some additional little ones behind her! Martha came up to the original finder’s house, with 2 little kitties in tow. Willow (female) and Milo (male) were born sometime at the end of March of 2026. Unfortunately, no other kittens were with Martha therefore, we believe all her other kitties must have not survived. Milo has been adopted, but Willow is available still (she is located in foster care in Troy, NY) and she weighs right at 1.9 lbs. Martha is still located in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas – By the Texas/Mexico border. Hopefully not for long! Martha would love a lap to call her own. She has already learned to adapt to an inside home and loves it. She gets along great with other cats and doesn’t mind dogs with slow introductions. Martha loves to strut herself around and she knows she is beautiful. She is a very relaxed kitty and just goes with the flow. Martha is not very active and would do great in a calm to medium-active household. Martha is spayed, current on all age-appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FLV Tested, Dewormed, given flea/heart worm prevention, microchipped and she will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org PLEASE NOTE: This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed ($425) INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. Story
***WILLOW IS LOCATED IN A FOSTER HOME IN TROY, NEW YORK AND IS AVAILABLE FOR A MEET AND GREET WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION*** Willow, the parrot kitten, is soooo ready for her forever home. Willow is approximately 2 months old and weighs right at 1.9 lbs, so she is very tiny! Her brother has been adopted, but Willow is still available! History of Willow: (Martha is her mom, who is also available for adoption!) Martha originally was supposed to join our rescue in January of 2025, when the original finder said she ran off, and was unable to find her again. They are all safe with our foster, and there is no more roaming for Martha, or her babies. Martha is still located in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas (which is by the Texas Mexico border, this is where Willow was born) Willow has medium length hair, and she LOVES humans and dogs. Oddly enough, she is learning to trust other cats but gets along fine with them also. She has an odd obsession with humans and dogs to be honest! The foster in New York says all she does is want to climb up his body to perch on his neck, her favorite place to go. She LOVES to be held and just wants human contact. Being on his neck, sleeping on his neck, curling up around his neck, really anything involving his neck and being on it, she loves. Willow thinks she is one of the dogs and wants to go play with the big 40 lb puppy. She has no shame in her game. Willow would do great in a home where someone is home more often as she just absolutely craves human contact and attention. Please be aware she loves to climb up your legs, so be careful with young children and elderly people. Willow’s adoption fee includes all age-appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FLV Testing, Deworming, flea prevention (advantage) microchipping and has received a clean bill of health from a veterinarian already. Her adoption fee is $425 – Which included her transport from Texas to the East Coast. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org

NAME:  Ozark   Approx Birth Date: 5/1/2024 BREED:  Domestic Short Hair  BIO:   Ozark is a curious and sweet cat, and the mom of six kittens! Ozark did an amazing job as a mother – she raised an orphaned litter along with her own kittens. She’s always been an affectionate and playful cat, and now that her kittens are grown, she’s been able to really come out of her shell. She loves to get attention and be pet, spends plenty of time running around and playing, especially with her kittens! Ozark adores other cats, and will often cuddle, groom, and play with her kittens. Even though she’s not as young as her kittens, she’s nearly as energetic and can keep up with them easily! She’s extremely adventurous, and loves to climb to high-up places.
