Story
Meet the sweetest and most deserving 4-month-old kitten siblings- Tika, Rain and Rikki Bobbi. Baby boy Tika is a black and white short hair, neutered, super handsome Tuxedo kitten. They are all so adorable! Tika is very shy but enjoys being petted and loves to play with his people and his siblings. He does like to hide but is very food motivated. We are working with him on his socialization and is definitely getting more comfortable. We think perhaps he and his brother Ricki Bobbi went through some trauma, but they are young and resilient. Sister Rain is the friendliest of all 3. Rain, a short hair, black female, Rain is very talkative, super sweet and charming kitten. Rain enjoys interaction and play with her humans and sibling's. She actually seeks out attention from you when you are not paying attention to her! This characteristic is endearing- not annoying! Rain is good with other cats and possibly dogs. The third kitten sibling is Ricki Bobbi. Rikki Bobbi is all black, short hair and neutered male. Rikki Bobbi is also shy and slightly hesitant, although he can be picked up and help. Rikki Bobbi loves playing with his other 2 siblings as well as his humans. Rikki Bobbi, like his brother Tika, we believe went through trauma. But we are we building his confidence and social skills. RB is a hidey boy, but does come out for treats and play. Tika and Ricki Bobbis’ behavior is still shy, but with your love and affection and patience- they will soon grow to be amazing, smart kitties who are charming and engaging family members! All three kittens are 4 months, vaccinated and spayed or neutered. They are litter box trained and are entertained with their cat trees or toys rather than the furniture! If you have questions or need more info, contact foster mom Lisa at birdz4lifeduh@gmail.com. Also contact Lisa for a meet and greet and/or adoption application. These beautiful and handsome kittens are so excited for new and forever homes. They are ready to follow your lead and grow into the most delightful new addition to your family and life!

Story
Hi! My name is Buster. I am available to adopt—currently staying with a foster.Buster is a 12 year old gentleman who is doing wonderfully in foster care and showing us just how much love he has to give. He’s outgoing, very chatty, and absolutely adores attention. Brushing time is one of his favorite activities, and he happily lets his people know when he’s enjoying it......and when he’s had just enough, with the softest little “love nibble.”Buster is a social guy who truly wants to be where his people are. He follows along, keeps you company, and lets you know he’s craving affection. While he does best in calm, predictable environments, he has shown that with patience and understanding, he can settle in beautifully.Because Buster can become overstimulated in busy or noisy situations, he’s looking for a quiet home with experienced, cat-savvy adopters who understand feline body language and boundaries. A home without children or teens would be best for him, and we recommend a household where everyone can move at his pace and respect his signals.Buster may take a little time to fully warm up in a new home, but once he does, he bonds deeply and thrives on companionship. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate senior cat who wants nothing more than to share space, conversation, and cozy moments with you, Buster could be the perfect match.Come meet this sweet old soul and see if he’s meant to spend his golden years by your side.Send an email to frontdesk@auburnvalleyhs.org for more information or to set up a meet & greet with an animal staying with a foster. Story
Tone and Ada came to the shelter as older kittens after being abandoned, and they are now thriving together in a loving foster home while they wait to find their forever family — together. These two are on the shy and reserved side, so they’re looking for a cat-savvy home with adopters who understand that the best bonds take time. In a calm, patient environment, their affectionate personalities truly shine. Once they feel safe, they are sweet, gentle love bugs who enjoy quiet companionship.Ada and Tone would do best in a peaceful home with teens and adults. Young children would likely be overwhelming for them, as they thrive in predictable, low-noise environments.Their foster reports that they both seem to enjoy the company of other cats and, with slow and thoughtful introductions, could do well in a home with feline friends. If you’re looking to give a pair of shy hearts the loving home they deserve, Ada and Tone are ready to blossom with you.
