Meet Zeus! Zeus is a sweetheart! He is very cuddly and a bit timid. Zeus takes a few minutes to warm up to you but the best way to his heart is with treats and scratches. Zeus also loves walks! Something about the breeze going past his face and looking at new things makes Zeus a happy pup!

Here is sweetie Minori! She is a 1.5 year old German shorthair pointer! She is 45 pounds. Minori is very loving of her humans and loves any chance for a kiss! As you can see she also loves her fellow dogs, but personalities of other dogs in the home must be discussed before adoption. She does not have to be the only dog in the home but would give you the love of 1,000 dogs!! She has been in a home with cats and did well, and every interaction she has had with kids has been great! Minori has a youthful personality but also loves to snuggle and lay on the couch with you! If you have any questions please contact us directly. Thank you!

Story
Arya just turned 7 years old on May 4th. She’s a sweet, lazy girl who makes a great couch accessory. Arya lives for mealtimes. Give her an empty peanut butter jar and she’s in heaven. She has an adorable underbite that only a mother can love. She lets you smoosh her face and give her kisses on the nose. She’s lived with other dogs and young children. She doesn’t require long walks. She’s more of a run in the backyard, do your business and hurry back in to sleep kind of girl. She will chase small animals if given the chance. No cats. We love this girl dearly and will be sad to part with her but we know she’ll make another family very happy!

Jack

Pembroke Welsh Corgi Australian Cattle Dog

Male, young
Lawrence, KS
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Jack is a joyful guy who loves to stay busy. True to his breeds, if he's not given a job to do, he'll easily find his way into mischief. He's super smart and responds well to training. Sometimes he can be anxious or easily overstimulated and does well with gentle redirection. Jack doesn't always know how to settle very well, so I haven't seen him cuddle on the couch very much. He loves to lay at your feet. In the right hands, Jack would make a wonderful companion. I could see him doing really well with one other dog, a family with older children, or even a couple who could spend more time with him. As a single person who isn't in a position to get another dog, I don't think I'm able to meet his needs for stimulation and exercise. I purchased Jack from an Amish family and he's been living with me for about 10 months. He turned 1 on 9/1.
