Story
We have had Apollo since he was a puppy. He loves people and other animals and has a sweet and loving disposition. He has never been aggressive towards any person or another animal. We love him very much, but we will be out of the country for all of 2027 and we cannot take him with us. We also travel a lot for work as a general matter which hasn’t been fair to him. He needs to be around people and we just aren’t home enough to give him the kind of attention he needs and deserves. We are so sad to have to let him go, but we are hoping that whoever he goes with will be able to spend the time with him that we can’t.

Very affectionate and loving, just nervous around children, especially toddlers. Knows how to sit and shake. Has played with other dogs his size just fine. Has not been around cats. He’s a big guy and I am unable to walk him anymore due to my previously broken ankle and my age. I also have a two year old grandchild that I now babysit.

Story
Ollie is 6 years old. I adopted him and don't know his prior history. He is happy and loves to play ball inside or outside. He is trained to sleep in his kennel at night and does sleep in my bed occasionally. He only barks when the doorbell rings or he sees a stranger. He takes a few meetings to warm up to strangers. He likes small dogs and has been around a cat at times. He is quiet and plays alone well. Ollie likes to cuddle. He is smart and likes to please his owner. He has had a couple of seizures in my 3 years with him and then went back to normal. The vet says don't need to medicate him. Ollie is smart and trainable. He sometimes growls at strangers. He warms up after meeting a few times. Im retiring and traveling a lot and don't want to board him. Also my daughter is allergic to him. I love him and want the best for him.

Story
Sally is very sweet and loving. We have her in a large fenced area but she gets out because she wants to find what she is smelling or she wants to have an adventure. We do not give her as much attention as she needs and we feel like if someone was able to give her more attention that it would be better for her. Sally will be three in September and has had all of her shots up to date and is spayed. We would love for her to find a home with someone that has more time for her. We are asking $30 for her.

Story
Meet Casey! She came into our care after her owner became homeless. This perfect little girl is a min pin/chihuahua mix. 8 years old and 10lbs. She is shy at first, but once she warms up she will be your best friend for life. She has sooo much love to give, she deserves a person that feels the same way about her. She has a soft personality, she would do best in a quiet home. Casey gets along with other animals. She is doing well on house training and crate training. She loves to play with toys and run around the yard. She does have a luxating patella on her left leg, but it doesn't slow her down! We will REQUIRE her adopter to have a fenced in yard, and current pets to be up to date on vaccinations. Cassie is available for adoption in the Wichita and Topeka, KS area. Story
Dallas is an energetic, loving, eager to learn German shepherd. We adopted him 3 years ago and he has loved farm life. He is great with all humans, kids included. He does not enjoy being in a kennel, but will mainly whine if he is kenneled. He is best friends with our female pit bull and enjoys chasing the cat around. He loves any chance to learn a new trick, play, or be affectionate. We are rehoming because he has begun to have issues with our older male dog. Dallas is protective of his yard and he refuses to let our older male dog be outside with him. He has never had aggression issues off property before; only protecting his home. He is NOT human aggressive ever. The issue has only been with our older male dog. Rehoming fee to ensure a decent home. We do not rehome dogs often, and he deserves a good home where he’s loved.
