Story
How would you like to have your very own four-legged surveillance camera? You can have just that! Meet Dolly Ann. This lovely lady is a 40lb, 4-year-old, 200% good girl mix. If you are partial to a certain breed, she probably has it in her! She sees it as her duty to keep an eye on her homebase to ensure no unwanted, furry critters breech the parameters. However, she will allow just about any doggo friend to come right in. If you are not careful, you will have a dog party going on before you know it and she will be the center of it. Dolly absolutely LOVES her canine friends. Cats, eh, maybe not. Dolly likes to take her time meeting new human visitors, after all, she must ensure they are Dolly worthy. Once you are in her "circle of trust, you are golden. She will snuggle you, play fetch, and if it is a walk you want...she is an expert. Dolly is all for napping after all that patrolling. She loves to cuddle up with her people and snooze the afternoon away. She is fine with taking a break in her crate or hanging out on her dog bed. No need to worry about accidents with his girl, she knows exactly where to do her business. If you need some good critter security and want a Dolly of a companion, please reach out to PawsitiveTailsKC.org. Dolly Ann is spayed, fully vaccinated, current on preventatives and ready to get to work! Her adoption fee is $175. Meet and greets will be scheduled with approved applications.

Story
Dexter here, just hanging out, looking for my new home. My friends say I should tell you about my pretty, very intense eyes, but I want to point out that I work very hard at doing the best picture poses of any dog you'll ever meet. You should take me home so I can be *your* muse! You might also be happy to know that I'm not one of those dogs in need of a bunch of exercise. Okay, Foster Mom said I'm "relatively lazy," and if that means I don't have to go on marathons, yay for me. A daily walk is just fine. I do like benebones and am also a fan of stuffies. See my cool blue stuffie in the picture? I'll bet Foster Mom will let me bring it to my new home! I'm a smart, smart pooch and since I'm treat motivated, training is a breeze. I weigh in at about 70 sturdy pounds, but I'm definitely a trim 70 -- I try to be in tip top shape! I'm a bit shy when I first meet people, but if you're nice to me and maybe give me some treats (subtle, right?), I'll love you BIG time! (In case you haven't gotten my hints, the way to my heart is definitely through my stomach. And my stomach likes treats.) I really am the sweetest boy. In fact, despite my size, I strongly believe that your lap is my lap and will happily join you for a big slobbery kiss. Since I'm a pretty chill guy, a low-activity, adult-only home (or one with older kids) would be best for me. And one without cats, please. I just don't understand those creatures. They are so weird! I have done well with some other dogs. We'd just need to interview each other before we become roomies. Would you like to get together to make sure I'm your forever pup? Then go ahead and call/text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 and ask about me, Dexter! My foster home is in the Kansas City metro, but my friends will transport me to my forever home! What a deal! Story
Billy is the world's sweetest and smartest boy! It's true! Despite this, this 7 year old pittie has been looking for his furever home for 2 years now. He's done extensive training with his foster mom, and knows sit, lay, stay, give, paw, turn, leave it, crawl, heel, and loads of hand signals! Billy is kennel trained and house broken. So if you're looking for already trained and ready to go, then Billy is your boy! Billy would do best in a calmer home with a doggie friend; he is great with other dogs! This big boy is a bit shy at first, but once he warms up, he loves you BIG and wants to be your best buddy. Billy's adoption fee is $175 and he has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is on flea/tick & heartworm prevention. If you'd like to meet Billy, click on the 'Apply to Adopt' tab below!

Story
When a 100-pound mammal licks your tears away, then tries to sit on your lap, it is hard to feel sad. Meet Leo. This gentle giant will do just that. He will give you comfort, love, and affection that only a doggo like him can give. He is a 3-year-old, 100lb Great Dane/Pittie mix. Leo is wonderful with people and other dogs. He is partial to the smaller doggies as he kind of likes being the "big dog of the pack. Due to his size, kiddos under 4' may not be best for him. He would be sad if he bumped into them and knocked them over. Leo is fine with cats and willing to have them as family members. This amazing boy, or should we say man, is up for walks if you would like. They are not a necessity for him as he would rather just hang out and relax while enjoying his favorite stuffy. He would also love to be your PupFlix binging buddy! What is better than having a companion that is fine with whatever YOU decide to watch? No fighting for the remote with this boy. If you would like a big ole' teddy bear to call your own, please reach out to PawsitiveTailsKC.org and fill out an application so you can meet. Leo is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and preventatives. His adoption fee is $175. This loving boy is one of a kind and ready to be your buddy. So come on, fill out that application.

Story
Hi! My name's Houston. If you want a dog to snuggle, I'm your guy! I'd spend all day right next to you getting belly rubs if I could. Really, though, I'm way too smart to laze around. I know sit, down, stay, high five, hug, orbit, between, wait, and I can even turn off the lights! Learning tricks is one of my favorite activities and I can pick up new ones in just a day or two. I love to run outside and play in the hose, but my favorite game of all is tug of war. (I'll even let you win sometimes!) I'm kennel trained, house trained, and I do amazing being left alone. In fact, I do some of my best snoozing in my crate while I wait patiently for you to come home. I'm getting better on the leash all the time. I'd do best in a home with older children, because I'm still learning how to contain all my excitement around the little ones. Since I've been looking for a home for a while, I think I'd prefer to be the only doggo so I don't have to share. I'm a young guy and weigh around 60 pounds, so I'm pretty much the perfect size! I've got so much love to share and I absolutely cannot wait to meet you! You'll get to see my cute little nub of a tail wag and wag when I'm happy and *that* will make you happy, too! Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 to find out more about me! I'm in the Kansas City metro, but my human friends will transport me to the right home.
