Story
Hi guys! It's me, Jerry! I am a 3 1/2 year old Houndish mix who weighs about 45 pounds and I'm looking for a friend. I came to this place called the Kentucky Humane Society when the last shelter I was at ran out of room for me. Now that I'm at KHS, I'm excited to find a family to call my own! Let me tell you a little about myself. I am an energetic, lanky, athletic guy who can be a little shy here in the shelter setting. I spent some time in a foster home and I really liked it there! Turns out I'm potty trained and I do well when left alone. My favorite things are playing outside, destroying plushy dog toys, and getting LOTS of treats. I'm also smart! I know how to sit, down and give my paw! I do need to meet any potential dog siblings. No children under 8, I am nervous of small children. No cats or small animals please. Could you give me a chance to show you how amazing I am? I am neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccinations! Shelter transfer:I came to the Kentucky Humane Society from another shelter. The staff are still learning all about me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give.

Meet the one and only, Georgia! This gorgeous golden colored Lab came to the Kentucky Humane Society because her owner could no longer care for her, and now she can't wait to find her new family. Georgia is a fetch-aholic and can't get enough of the game! At four years old she has lots of energy but is past that puppy stage. Her former family says she is potty trained and she keeps a clean kennel at the shelter. Georgia has met children in her previous home and did well although she may get really excited and zoom around! Georgia has told us that she wants to be spoiled and be your only pet. Could Georgia be the one for you? Come meet her at the Main Campus and be prepared to fall head over heels! Georgia is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Story
Hello, I'm Darla! I'm a young pitty mix looking for a new family to love. I adore playtime, whether it's with my fellow dogs or adults. I cannot go home with children or small animals. I am also accustomed to a crate and am even housetrained! I've spent plenty of time in a foster home, so I'm used to living in a home. I'll gladly show off my tricks, too! Although I can be active, I'm a world class cuddler once the playing's done! I'm spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on my shots. If you're seeking a joyful companion to brighten your life, come visit me.
