Story
Nico is a Malinois / Mastiff mix that is 8 years of age and around 65 pounds. He is impeccably trained with obedience and commands such as sit, stay, come, place and elevated commands such as "finish," and "peak," along with some basic scent work. He is extremely loyal to his "bonded" person and needs a savvy owner to build that mutual respect. This brindle breed mix is very intelligent and although he has lived with another dog in the past, we recommend his ideal environment be a home where he is an only pet to relax in his retirement years. He is a great companion for walks, lounging in the sunshine in a fenced yard and fulfilling the couch potato roll. He is at the age where he appreciates quieter surroundings. He enjoys human contact with his people. We would love to see him live out retirement days with a person who gives him attention, comfort, the luxury items of a comfy dog bed and lounging time in the backyard sunshine!

Story
Meet Sabrina! 🐾🤎 Sabrina is one of our sweet Off Campus puppies and is ready to find a family to call her very own! We believe she is a hound mix and expect her to be a medium to large-sized dog when she's fully grown. Sabrina is the perfect combination of playful and affectionate. She loves exploring the world around her, playing with her siblings, and then curling up for a well-earned nap after a day of puppy adventures. Her curious nature and gentle heart make her a joy to be around. Like any young puppy, Sabrina is still learning all things puppy! She'll need a family committed to potty training, crate training, basic manners, and continued socialization. Crate training is one of the most important tools you can give a puppy, helping with house training, providing a safe place to rest, and building confidence when home alone. Ongoing socialization is equally important, exposing Sabrina to new people, places, sounds, and experiences during her early months so she can grow into a happy, confident, well-adjusted adult dog. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, Sabrina will make a wonderful lifelong companion. If you're looking for a sweet, playful puppy to grow up alongside your family, Sabrina can't wait to meet you!

Story
Rosebud has been stealing hearts everywhere she goes on her field trips, and it's easy to see why. If you're looking for a kid-friendly, dog-friendly, event-friendly companion, this sweet girl checks all the boxes! At 71.8 pounds, Rosebud is a gentle giant who absolutely adores children. She was surrendered by her previous owner, so we know she's part Great Pyrenees. Like many dogs, Rosebud needs a little encouragement when it comes to transitions like walking through doorways or hopping into a vehicle. But once she's there, she transforms into the social butterfly everyone dreams of adopting. Rosebud enjoys a good play session now and then, but she's just as happy relaxing in the shade with one of her favorite hard chews. If you really want to win her heart, bring a deer antler, it's her all-time favorite! If you have cats at home, we'll gladly introduce Rosebud to our resident HSOC cats before adoption to help ensure she'll be a good match for your family. Rosebud has been patiently waiting for her forever home, and we know her perfect family is out there. Don't make this wonderful girl wait any longer... submit an adoption application today! We'd love to introduce you to your new best friend!

Story
Mudbud is about as well-rounded as they come. He's playful, confident, protective, and every now and then he'll pretend to be a little shy. He's also what we like to call a doggy bulldozer; stubborn, silly, and determined to wedge his big ol' head right into your arms for affection. This handsome boy is incredibly food motivated, but he also loves to stretch his long legs and run. Once he makes a canine friend, watch out... the zoomies are coming! Mudbud gets along with most dogs, although he occasionally decides that larger male dogs just aren't his cup of tea. Mudbud is housetrained, walks nicely on a leash, and is ready to settle into his forever home. We're still learning how he feels about children and cats. If an applicant has children, we'll schedule a safe, secure meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is comfortable together. If there are cats in the home, we'll complete a cat test with our resident HSOC cats before adoption. Mudbud is simply waiting for someone who wants a loyal companion and can't resist snuggling that precious face. We honestly can't figure out why this handsome guy is still here! If Mudbud sounds like your perfect match, submit an adoption application today to get the ball rolling.

Story
Kicker is ready to kick off his next adventure—and he's hoping it's with you! As part of our adorable World Cup litter, Kicker came to us alongside his sweet mom and siblings after being rescued from a hoarding situation. Despite his rough start, he has embraced the love and care he's received and is blossoming into a happy, playful puppy who is ready for a family of his own. We believe Kicker’s mom is a Golden Retriever mix, and based on his size and features, we also suspect there may be some Great Pyrenees in the family tree. We expect him to mature into a medium-to-large dog with a loyal heart, a gentle nature, and plenty of fluffy charm. Like every young puppy, Kicker is looking for a family that is ready for all things puppy! He is still learning everything that comes with growing up, including potty training, crate training, basic obedience, leash manners, and proper socialization. He'll also need lots of love, patience, toys to chew, and positive reinforcement as he gains confidence and discovers the world around him. Puppies require time, commitment, and consistency, but the reward is a lifetime of unconditional love and companionship. Watching Kicker grow from a curious little pup into your faithful best friend will be worth every moment. Whether he's exploring the backyard, joining you on family adventures, learning new tricks, or snuggling up after a busy day, Kicker is sure to bring joy, laughter, and endless tail wags wherever he goes. If you're ready to welcome a sweet puppy into your home and are excited for the journey that comes with raising one, Kicker is ready to be on your team! Apply today to give Kicker the loving forever home he deserves!

Story
Meet Wilbur! Wilbur is a handsome 1-year-old Retriever mix with a heart as big as his smile. This affectionate love bug is happiest when he’s by your side, soaking up attention and reminding you just how wonderful unconditional love can be. Young, athletic, and full of life, Wilbur enjoys stretching his legs and would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can run, play, and explore safely. After he’s had his fun, he’s more than ready to settle in for cuddles—his favorite place is wherever his people are. Wilbur is house-trained, crate-trained, and already knows how to sit. He’s eager to please and will continue to blossom with positive reinforcement and consistent guidance. While Wilbur can be selective about other dogs, he has so much love to give his humans and would do best with thoughtful introductions or as the only dog in the home. His ideal family will appreciate his loyal, affectionate nature and be excited to give him the love and attention he craves. If you’re looking for a devoted best friend who will greet you with a wagging tail, shower you with affection, and happily join you on all of life’s adventures, Wilbur is ready to meet you. All he needs now is a forever family to love.
