Story
We adopted Rex from a breeder as a baby. He is 6 years old. He has allergies and he takes Apoquel daily. We have been having a hard time narrowing down what his allergies stem from. He licks his paws, has a runny and cracked nose, and is just overall scratching continuously. He has been indoors since we've adopted him. He's good with kids and cats. He does not like strangers until he is properly introduced. He does not like delivery drivers. He has anxiety issues. He does not like storms. He is uneasy when I am away for some time, and will have accidents in the house during those times, even though my BF and daughter are with him. He has recently been having accidents in the house, so we are looking for a home for him where someone can be with him more, and attend to his needs more closely (anxiety, allergies, boredom). We are gone for 10 hours a day at work, and he needs to have more attention throughout the day. Up to date on shots, and weighs 102 pounds

Story
This guy is just the cutest! Lake is such a lover and a great age at 2.5years! He does great with other male dogs and is currently in a play group with another male dog. Lake has lived with a bunch of children but prefers that they are at least over toddler age so they can understand boundaries. He does fabulous with ages 4 and up. One of his favorite things is just cuddling up with you. He doesn't walk too bad on leash, pulls a bit but not terrible at all. He passed his cat test wonderfully! His adoption fee is $175 plus tax. Find us on Facebook to be updated on events and shelter news! All animals up for adoption at the Hawk Creek Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested negative (if age appropriate), up to date on vaccinations (a booster may be needed), given flea and tick preventative, given heartworm preventative, dewormed, and treated for anything necessary: such as dental cleanings, ear infections, etc. Please visit our website for prices and more information about our hours. No pre-applications are accepted, please come to the shelter with your family with no appointment needed. If you have another dog, we'd like an appointment to do a meet and greet with your other dog. We can cat test here at the shelter. If you have questions, please email or call us and we'll answer your questions the best we can. Potty training is not guaranteed nor implied. Go to, WWW.THEHSKMC.COM for all your information. Animals' fees are not waived unless noted in this description.

**currently in a foster home, please ask us to meet with her! Lets just say that 1.5yr old Loyalty has her name for a reason! This beautiful girl will give you her heart and soul. She just wants to be with you, cuddle up with you and get snacks from you. She does know sit and shake. Loyalty is what people would call a "pocket pittie". She may be 49 pounds but she is 49 pounds of muscle. This little lady stands very short but is quite stout. She can be pretty dog picky so she would need to have a meet and greet with another dog to know if she's approve. She is currently in a play group with a larger male dog. She likes more submissive dogs. Loyalty has been around goats, chicken, peacocks and feral cats. She was cat tested and passed! Loyalty also met some children and seemed to really love being around them!Find us on Facebook to be updated on events and shelter news! This adorable lady is 1yr old, 50# Chauncey! She is a pitbull mix, not sure what the mix is but definitely doesn't look like she would be purebred! Chauncey is just the biggest lover and wants to play play play! She has a soft mouth with toys and lets you take them from her. Stuffies are her favorite but she also loves to decorate the room with the stuffing from the stuffies. Currently Chauncey is in a play group with a calmer male dog. She does prefer male dogs to female dogs but hasn't been too bad! Just seems to want a boyfriend to play with more! Stop on in to meet this adorable young lady! Adoption fee is $175 plus tax.
